Reed is a millionaire cowboy who thought he would soon be inheriting billions until his lawyer broke the bad news. There was an overlooked clause in the will that said to get his father's money, Reed would have to father a baby by the time he turns 30 which is 11 months away. Reed in angry and discourage. All the women he hangs around with are ones he couldn't stand co-parenting with, Then his friend Ryan ask for his help. Ryan's on-line girlfriend is coming to visiting and bringing her friend. Ryan wants Reed to help distract her.
Bella is having a tough time. Her fiance is getting more verbally abusive so she breaks things off and moves in with her best friend Kayla. Kayla has a big favor to ask. Kayla wants Bella to come with her when she meets her on-line boy-friend Ryan. Bella feels obligated since Kayla has been such a big help and that Kayla is a horrible flyer. When the girls arrive, sparks fly between Ryan and Kayla. Reed is also very attracted to Bella. Things are going well until Kayla gets drunk and gets jealous of Ryan. She gets mad enough to mark up the truck they are riding not knowing it is reed's truck and not Ryan's.
Reed is thrilled to see Bella. She appears to be just the kind of woman he need to carry his child. To keep her close, he blackmails her. She needs to stay with him or else charges would be brought up about Kayla. Bella agrees but their passion keeps soaring.
This is a good book with some feisty women characters. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Bella and Reed heat up this his baby mama drama tale 🔥 Bella is a free spirited photgrapher who's voice has been crushed by her now ex fiancé. She has decided to take some me time and just find her way back to herself again. When she meets Reed she wasn't expecting anything more than a vacation fling with the brash conceded jerk, but little does she know he has other plans up his sleeve. Reed has to get himself and heir and quick. His recently departed father got in one finally shot before shaking loose the mortal coil - if Reed wants to inherit he first needs to sire and heir... very medieval pops 👨‍👦The only woman on his contact list won't be good enough for a second hookup never mind a lifetime commitment so he's screwed there so he's really in a pickle... until Bella walks in. Bella is the perfect canidate - beautiful smart and driven plus she wants kids already so is just a matter of convincing her to have his baby. But as his plan moves forward he realizes that Bella is not only perfect for the plan but perfect for him now he's just got to figure out a way for everyone to win win win!

Okay, I want to say Rye Hart always hits the marks when it comes to her books. And this one is no different. Kayla and Bella are best of friends who go to Texas to meet a man that Kayla has been chatting with online. So when Kayla and Bella go and meet Rick and his friend Reed all kind of hotness comes off this book.
Kayla and Rick have some issues they need to work out (I was not impressed when Kayla goes off on Reed's truck) even thinking it was Ricks, no matter how mad you are who does that? So that kinda turned me off to Kayla. But I will say I enjoyed Reed's reaction to the whole mess. I loved Bella all the way. After everything Gavin had put her through, she finally found her backbone and stood up for herself when it came to Reed. I could not put this book down! Loved it from beginning to end.

Rye Hart's ROCK HARD books have yet to let me down.
Bella breaks off her engagement to Gavin after getting tried of been treated badly all the time. Her best friend asked her to come with her on a trip to meet a guy she has been seeing online. Reed is a billionaire who has just found out that he has to have a child before he turns 30( in 11 months) orwilllose his inheritance. When all he has been doing is having on night stands. Then his best friend Rick's girl comes to visit with her friend, Bella, the chemistry is instant between them. He decides she would be the perfect momma for his child. As the days pass he gets to know her and starts to like her for her and not just someone to have his child. I recommend you read this book to see all the bumps in their road and if they get a happy ever after.

I schemed this book, came for the premise of the story, stayed for the sex scenes.
The book was filled with too much internal dialogue. Then Reed comes off as an entitled jerk in some instances where the intention is to portray him as the alpha million-soon-to-be-billionaire.
Then, if this was real life, Bella had just let down the feminist movement, especially in the bathroom shower sex scene. Yaye, she wanted that pregnancy lest you be fooled it was an oops baby on her part. That scene just had me slapping my forehead.

Either way, a short read with good smut scenes.

It looks like I'm against the majority on this one. The story is definitely emotional with some great sexy scenes and there is a HEA so, that's good. My issue is specifically with the characters, Bella and Reed.

First, Bella - she has been with Gavin for a long time and has tried to leave his sorry butt several times before finally cancelling the wedding and walking away. He treated her horribly by always putting her down, not being supportive, being selfish in bed and is never wrong. But, as soon as she walks away, Reed is right there to give her the pleasure she wants. Within 24 hours of meeting Reed, Bella is in his bed. Reed is supportive, appreciates and respects her wishes and dreams and is beyond amazing in bed. But, when Reed isn't completely honest about his inheritance but, actually proves his love for Bella, she leaves and doesn't give him a second chance. This is the complete opposite her behavior with Gavin.

Now second, Reed - how could he not think that his plan of not telling Bella about the inheritance clasue wasn't going to blow up in his face? This is a thirty year old man and he doesn't have a clue, especially when he recognizes that Bella is not his typical woman and he needs to be a father! This is where he should of listened to his friend Rick and told Bella and asked if she would go along with his plan. Reed is deceitful, dishonest and manipulative but, when he finds out that Bella's pregnant he takes steps to make certain that his intentions and love are obvious. But then, he doesn't contact her for a few weeks leaving her alone. I think he should have a least kept up communication of some sort showing Bella that he cared about her health and well-being.

I just couldn't get behind these characters. They frustrated me and at times their behavior or thoughts didn't make sense. But, they did redeem themselves a bit at the end in the doctor's office. So, that made me feel better.

That stupid surprise hidden clause that was made by his dad has this playboy cowboy agitated, angry, and in dire need of an heir in a short amount of time, or Reed loses the ranch. Why did his father have to be so cruel? Reed liked being a playboy, a really hot, all man cowboy! This was not going to be an easy thing to accomplish, especially because his reputation is very VERY well known. What is Reed going to do? First thing is first he drives his BFF Rick to meet the woman he is crazy about and a friend of hers. All coherent thoughts gone when he see her.

She loves taking photographs and has put together books of her works. Nothing she does, says, likes, dislikes is good enough for her fiance. The one she is supposed to get married to in 2 months time. Poor Bella is at her wits end, and she completely calls off the wedding and breaks up with him, she moves in with her BFF, and now they are in Texas meeting Kayla's (the BFF) boyfriend. Then she is introduced to him...and her thoughts scramble.

The meeting goes off without a hitch, and the four of them are celebrating. Both the girls have not eaten anything and the drinks are going down a little too well for Bella's friend. Then a woman walks up and says some things about her BFF's boyfriend, now things turn a bit ugly. There is some property damage, to Reed's truck. Bella backs her friend and stands up to Reed. There is a price to pay though.

Back at Reed's place things have calmed down, the two love birds are off being love birds, and now Reed is thinking he can collect his reward. Only Bella has other ideas. She wants to be her, see who she is and live without being with someone, since her extremely recent breakup. Text messages from the ex have Reed angry, then an actual phone call from the ex causes a stir. Reed is having NONE of that.

There are a few times since they arrived at Reed's home that Bella and Reed heat things up, and all seems to be right. But he is holding a very dangerous secret. He started being with Bella for only one reason, but now that is not where this leads. An overheard phone conversation Reed has reveals his secret and Bella is done. A short time later she learns something big, and now there is choices to be made. Both Reed and Bella are miserable without each other. So Kayla has to play matchmaker fixer-upper. She has Reed meet Bella at an appointment, and how they end up with the happy ever after is a whole lot of smiles, laughter, frustration, anger and none of it is worth missing.

From the time she was a child, Bella had loved photography, capturing the beauty around her. Her mom urged her to follow her dream, regardless of those who thought it was just a silly hobby. But that passion was being destroyed by her wealthy fiancé, Gavin, who trivialized her dream. He was also negative and outright rude to her friends. She finally had enough and told him to leave. Her best friend, Kayla, encouraged her to do what was right for herself. Breaking it off with Gavin was definitely one of those “right” decisions! Since Kayla was going to meet her video-chat boyfriend in Dallas, she invited Bella to come along. It would give Bella a place to get away from Gavin who might try to change her mind; and it would take her mind off worrying and let her become herself again.

Reed met with his lawyer to discuss an oversight that needed addressing. He was about to inherit billions from his late father and didn’t need any complications! Unfortunately, what had been missed was that Reed had to produce an heir by his 30th birthday or he would not inherit, thus hopefully forcing him to settle down and start a family! That gave him only 11 months to comply!

Rick and Reed went to meet Kayla and Bella at the airport. Not a god traveler, Kayla had too much to drink. When an old girlfriend approached Rick and accused him of cheating, Kayla lost her temper and trashed what she thought was Rick’s truck. Reed was not happy at the damage to his truck, but he persuaded the police to drop it. Bella stood up to him when he criticized her friend and he loved her feisty spirit. As part of his new plan, he told her he would not make her pay for the damage if Bella would stay at his place for two weeks. She angrily agreed to what she said was blackmail, but only if Kayla could also stay. He would use those two weeks to change her mind about him!

Things were definitely going to get rocky! But maybe it’s the bumps in the road that show us we’re strong enough to get through it together and still love and respect each other when the dust settles. I definitely recommend this book. It was well written and lots of fun to read!

Woo boy, talk about one sexy beast of a billionaire. Reed has it made in the shade...or so he thinks. When he finds out there's a stipulation on his inheritance, he's at his wits end trying to figure out how to make it work in the next 11 months. His best friend Rick has met someone online and she's bringing a friend that he's been asked to entertain. Thinking it'll be some crazy chick he has to deal with while trying to figure out his delima, he never expected Bella. She's everything he wants in a mother for his child...and honestly for himself. She's smart, creative and fun. Only problem is, he's decided to get her pregnant without her knowledge to be able to get his inheritance. Boy does that backfire with a quickness, just after professing his love for her too.

Bella is just getting out of an emotional and mental abusive relationship and has ended her engagement. She was suppose to be getting married in a month, but enough is enough. She goes with Kayla to the rodeo out of state with her online boyfriend, hoping she's wrong about this Rick guy, but when she sees Reed, the sparks fly. Within a day she's given in to her lusty side and jumped in with both feet. When Kayla and Rick have problems and Kayla wants to leave, she's ready to go home to take a few steps back from the relationship she's found herself in unwillingly. When she discovers her pregnancy, she's unsure how to feel about it and worried that Reed will be upset and believe she trapped him. When she finds out the truth...that's it, one and done. She kicks him out and decides to only contact him if it pertains to the baby.

They're both miserable so their friends step in, but is it too late? Must read to find out. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

There's a lot to love about this story, starting with the hot billionaire cowboy, Reed, and his best friend, Rick. Rick's been skyping with his new girlfriend, Kayla, and they're finally able to meet in person. Kayla brings along her friend, Bella, who just broke up with her fiance after (finally!) realizing that his verbal abuse wasn't going to get any better. Kayla and Rick hit the ground running with their romance, and their story plays in the background as the book focuses on Bella and Reed. I loved the way Bella stood up to Reed, but I have to wonder where that side of her was in her previous relationship, where she stayed way too long with a guy who treated her a hundred times worse than Reed ever did. Reed has a very short time to get a woman pregnant in order to secure his inheritance, but he figures that since he and Bella are quickly developing a strong relationship he doesn't need to complicate things by explaining his desire to get her pregnant. This part of the story bothered me somewhat, because while there are secrets that can be kept and still be forgivable, deliberately lying to the woman you're sleeping with in order to get her pregnant is a quite a bit beyond controlling and manipulative. Yes, they do work things out and they have their HEA, but I gotta think there might have been a better way to handle that. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Reed just found out that to inherit the billions of dollars from his family fortune, he has to produce an heir before his 30th birthday which is 11 months away! He's blindsided and angry that his father would stipulate that in his will. Now he has to find the right woman to have a child with asap and she has to be someone he can stand having any kind of relationship with for the next 18 years! Bella recently ended her engagement and she left town with her friend Kayla. When Bella and Reed meet, he's being a jerk because he's still reeling and livid about the will. They're attracted to each other and Reed thinks that maybe she's the answer to his problems. It doesn't take long for Reed to get her into bed and knock her up! Bella has no idea that Reed was planning on her getting pregnant so she's relieved that he's happy when he finds out that she's pregnant. Reed develops feelings for Bella but he doesn't come clean about things until she finds out on her own. Well things go down hill from there! Can they make it work for the sake of their unborn baby or will Reed be left with his money but no Bella and baby??

I have read a lot of Rye Harts books and I had my bar set high for this one. And I was NOT disappointed. It was a great story and different from what I had expected.
Kayla was not my cup of tea when she got drunk and destroyed Reeds truck. She almost felt to me as a spoiled teenager. But a supporting character as hers have to be in a book to make the story go on.
Bella is much better of without her ex-fiancé and I think that she has to find herself and a man who respects her and her work and passion.
Reed is every girls dream and he also has to find the right one for obvious reasons. He has had a very bad childhood and that is still in his mind.
They both need each other but have find out to go on from their issues and past experiences.
The story is very well written and has a lot of passion and chemistry between the two main characters. It has drama from page one and it is the kind of story where you just have to read on to see what happens next.
I really recommend this if you like to read romance with an edge of hot scenes.

When Bella needs to make some life altering changes- her BFF Kayla is there to save the day! Stuck in a mentally abusive realtionship, she finally had hit rock bottom. Moving out and moving on she dives into the deep end of the alpha men pool- when Kayla decides to take a trip to meet her online love interest she goes along. Once they arrive, life goes and makes a 360 for Bella! Meeting Kayla's love interests friend Reed- he makes her an offer she doesn't want to refuse. It is just for a couple of weeks right? What would be the harm in letting loose?
Rye Hart has quickly become one of my favorite authors with her hot spicy intriguing storylines, and strong characters Rock Hard Baby Daddy was right in that category.
A Definite H.O.T, fast paced insta all read with a dirty talking alpha males and the women who make them want to give up the bachelorhood life.
Jam packed with all the things I love in these kinds of hot romances, I wasn't putting this hottie down for anything til I found out how this craziness was going to end!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. wow! How can you not fall for a hot cowboy? I loved this latest book by Ms Hart. Bella and Reed were such a hot and sexy couple. Bella meets Reed when she decides to accompany her best friend Kayla to Texas who has made plans to finally meet her online love interest Rick. Rick and Reed are heading over to a rodeo they attend annually to buy cattle. Kayla asks Rick if he has a friend that Bella can meet. the two girls travel to Dallas and Rick tells Reed that Kayla is bringing a friend with her. Reed has his reservations but once he meets Bella he has a change of heart. Reed has problems of his own. Mainly a stipulation in his fathers will that his lawyer is just now telling him about. Will he let Bella know about it? Would she think he tricked her? Will decide that loving her is worth giving up the money he would inherit if he can't produce an heir? This is a wonderful read all is answered. Loved the HEA!

A great story about a billionaire, Reed who just found out that in 11 months he has to have an heir or he loses his billions. When his best friend has a woman he is seeing come visit she brings her best friend, Bella. The first meeting isn't so great as Reed is a moody, crusty man but she is attracted to him. When her friend loses it and does something to Reed, he has a proposition for Bella....stay with him for the 2 weeks and he won't press charges. She agrees but finds it hard to resist him and Reed wants Bella to be his baby momma. He doesn't tell her what he wants but takes advantage of the situation. Will she get pregnant? Will she find out?
A great fast paced steamy read but in the beginning I didn't take to Reed so quickly since he was moody a lot and didn't really show any compassion towards Bella right away or talk about himself too much but in the end when he showed his emotions, he made up for it and I warmed up to him.

After suffering his latest insults, Bella breaks off her engagement with Gavin (finally). She moves in with Kayla and they go to Texas to meet Kayla's online boyfriend., Ryan. Kayla sure had a trailor trash moment when she destroyed Reed's truck, geez. Bella finds herself attracted to his friend Reed and they have a fling. She does not know that he is trying to get her pregnant in order to gain control of his two billion dollar inheritance. I thought that she was immature when she overheard his phone conversation and did not let him explain. Overall it was a great book and I thought that Bella and Reed each made the other a better person. Bella seemed to remind Reed of his mother and her love of art. Rye always brings us great characters and an entertaining story. I received an arc copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review.

"Rock Hard Baby Daddy" is a hot rich cowboy romance that will melt your panties! Reed is a very alpha male and just finds out he must have an heir before his 30th birthday to inherit his family's billions. That is 11 months away. Not much time to find a woman he wants and get her pregnant, that is willing. He just happens to meet Bella through his best friend and his friend's girlfriend. The connection is hot, the sex steamy, and before you can say snap, crackle, pop, Bella is pregnant. Only thing is, she doesn't know Reed wanted her to get pregnant. A fast paced quick story of lust, love and two people that find a HEA that is just an all around good book. I recommend this one for your next fun in the sun afternoon read. I would like to thank Rye Hart for gifting me "Rock Hard Baby Daddy". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4 Stars!

Bella is a very talented photographer but finally breaks off her engagement because all he,does is put her down.,when her best friend asks her to go with her to finally me ,she says OK. When she meets Reed, she feels something ,she's not looking for a spark that if she let's loose could turn into a raging fire. Reed needs someone to have a baby with an he !Ives everything about Bella but he's afraid if he tells her she will !eave he's fa!Len in love with Bella an doesn't care about the will he has money an they will be fine Bella has a fight with Reed an her first act is to run but then she finds she's pregnant. Will Bella tell Reed she is pregnant and will Reed lose her because of not telling her about the will? This book is funny, and some parts are beautiful? But in the end its a great book. What do you do when you have a big problem.......find the perfect girl to share it with. Problem is, billionaire Reed doesn't have one. Before he turns 30 he needs an heir and he is running out of time. Helping his friend Rick meet his on line girlfriend Kayla, he is pleasantly surprised to meet her friend Bella. What starts off to a rocky start, leads to an instant chemistry and unfortunately blackmail.
A brilliant story of crazy ex Gavin, secrets, big misunderstandings and so much more. I felt like I was time watching with everything going on. Couldn't read it quickly enough. Deep down I knew Reed is a decent guy but he just went about things the wrong way. Fortunately, Bella steers him in the right direction. Would love to read a bit more about Kayla and Rick in the future.

Rye Hart Rock Hard series keeps getting better & better with each standalone book.
Bella & Reeds love story is a great short story that you will enjoy reading. Finding out that you need an heir before you turn 30 years old is not what Reed was wanting to hear from his lawyer especially since he was already 29 year old. Then he meets Bella, who is coming out of an abusive relationship and not looking to jump back in the love game. But she does agree to spend time with Reed to pay for the damage her best friend did to his truck. Oh how they get over all their problems to get to their HEA is great.

Reed is happy as a clam, he is a playboy and set to inherit billions of dollars when he is 30, that is until he finds out about the stipulation attached, he has to father a baby before he turns 30!!

Bella is just out of a horrible relationship and us looking forward to some "me" time. Thanks to her friend Kayla's antics she meets Reed and starts to fall for his charms. But he is withholding a secret that could rock the fragile foundations of their relationship

A well written romance with plenty of angst and drama. The characters really bounce well off each other with some steamy scenes and plenty of romance. This is a fantastic read

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. We meet Bella, artist and photographer engaged to a pompous ass who thinks her hobbie is a joke. She's had enough and ends her engagement then gets on a plane with her bff to go to Texas to meet her bff's bf. what she finds is a hotter then hell man named reed. Reed just gets news from.his lawyer that in order to get his inheritance he must produce an heir b4 he is 30...just great. what he didn't count on was Bella...now that he could wrap his head around. he "blackmails" her to stay with him at his house and told her point blank he wants her. bella is turned on by this but she just got.out of a relationship. Reed is determined to put a baby in her but at what cost? what will happen when bella finds out?

Good smutty read. However, if you are looking to see how the couple fell in love outside of the bedroom you will be disappointed as the reader is not shown why they love each other. I also would have preferred the epilogue focus on closer look at how happy and good the relationship is, rather than another bedroom scene. Oh, I also don't know why its a cowboy novel, he didn't even ride a horse! There is no reference to that in the book, other than he wanted to compete in a rodeo in roping as a teen but his dad put him down about it so he didn't. Overall, a good read, but needed a little more relationship development to be an excellent romance. *I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I was given the awesome opportunity to be an ARC reader for this book.. couldn't put it down. Reed had me from his magnetizing eyes to his asshole persona and the fact that when he met Bella he couldn't believe his luck that he would be attracted to his best friends girlfriend bestie. Bella had just broken up with her ex because he didn't want to appreciate her talents and wasn't there to make her happy with following her dreams. Follows her best friend Kayla to be with her online boyfriend Rick they travel and once Bella and reed meet sparks fly to where they can't help how they feel. So much passion

Despite the other story line about Kayla and Rick, I really loved this book. Bella breaks up with her fiance and is tired of the abuse. She gets strong on the plane ride and is able to stand up to Reed. Reed is dealing with a hidden clause in his fathers will. Despite how it started the passion and attraction is undeniable between them. When she hears the truth about the hidden clause, she runs because she doesn't know any better. Reed makes everything better when he denies the money for himself and provides for his family. His love is real and honest when he admits to it. I truly believe Rye Hart's writing is only getting better with each new book she puts out. In this one you feel betrayl, uncertainy, passion, love, heartbreak and happiness. She makes you truly feel the characters emotions as they come alive from page to page. Great read!  I was hooked from the first chapter. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I have loved all of Rye's books so far! She is very talented.

This one is Reed's and Bella's story. I have to admit, he is a character who's easy to fall in love with. He is an alpha male with integrity, who is still human and makes mistakes but does not give up.
Bella through out the story grew as a character and it was interesting to see her making certain choices and mistakes.
Their chemistry is off the charts and their sex scenes hot!

The plot is interesting even though the subject is not something that hasn't been talked about before.

I voluntarily reviewed a free advanced copy of this book and I highly recommend it!

This romance was easy to like. A sometimes-a-jerk billionaire-to-be looking for a quick fix to his problems finds that love happens when you least expect it.

I liked that Bella wasn't a weak heroine; she left one idiot - she wasn't about to let another man dictate to her how her life was going to run, no matter how handsome, sweet & rich he appeared. Reed is unaccustomed to the word "no" and though shocked that Bella isn't falling all over herself to please him, he finds himself working to prove himself worthy of her.

The love scenes in this were very steamy and it had a good dose of drama that kept it moving forward.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
