Azhar Sheikhs #3

The Sheikh's Surprise Triplets

Rate this book
Juliette’s life is work—she’s ruthless, determined, and has built a reputation for helping difficult CEOs achieve their maximum potential. When she’s scouted by the royal Azhar family to assist the head of their tech division, Sheikh Basri Azhar, she’s eager for the challenge. The company is at a critical juncture, and it will be up to Juliette to keep the brash, young CEO on track. Shouldn’t be a problem—until Juliette meets Basri. He’s handsome, charismatic, and much harder to manage than she could have imagined. But Juliette won’t back down. She’s never met a boss she couldn’t tame.

Compared to his two older brothers, Basri has always been his father’s son. He values hard work and ingenuity, but he prefers an unstructured approach. Which is why Basri stays out of the office as much as possible. After all, he does his best thinking alone, outdoors in the Arabian wild. His new assistant Juliette, however, is like a force of nature. She’s beautiful, intelligent, and disciplined…and Basri has to constantly remind himself to keep it professional. But after weeks of Juliette trying to bend him to her will, Basri decides he has other plans.

When Basri invites her along on his next adventure, Juliette has no idea what she’s gotten herself into. But away from the board room and under the stars, Juliette begins to see the real Basri, and she can’t help wanting to see more…

New to Leslie? Readers suggest starting with 'The Bossy One' (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6BP3BBF) —Imagine a sunny Minnesotan Mary Poppins, employed by a grumpy Irish billionaire. The story is a blend of humor, revenge, passion, heartbreak, hope, and witty banter. As one reader put it, ‘This story had me squealing at the romantic moments and silly moments.’

Leslie North is the USA Today Bestselling pseudonym for a critically-acclaimed author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance. The anonymity allows her to fully express her creativity, especially in the romantic and fun sexy scenes!

In fact, she confesses to loving her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her everyday self! Her bestselling books are known for their strong characters, particularly women who aren’t afraid to challenge an alpha bosshole. And the humor? So infectious, you’ll be laughing out loud in public!

Leslie’s love for romance began when she picked up a worn-out romance book from her local library. She started writing soon after, and as they say, the rest was history. She now resides in a cozy cottage on the British coast, enjoying long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.

I read the second book in this series recently and was interested in giving the series another chance. And I liked this one but I didn't love it. I think my primary issue with the book was that there was literally no character development. It was like here they are ... oh and now they are in love. It just felt unreal to me. And that made the story itself not work as well as it could have. I also found the middle eastern stuff to be a bit typical ... in that I didn't see anything new or special or interesting about that part. I pretty much knew exactly what was going to happen and there was no surprise waiting for me. All in all, I recommend it if you enjoy this series already. But, I wouldn't start here ... this wasn't quite as good as I'd have hoped.

Highly enjoyable, sweet, sexy and emotional opposites attract romantic adventure with a twist of danger. I loved the strength of family bound this series presents in each story.

Sheikh Basri Azhar is the youngest and most like his father, he is brilliant, sweet, sexy, creative and not fond of structured schedules. His creativity is fueled mostly by thrill seeking adventure which is why he disappears often to think through his most challenging projects (something his board of directors does not understand). Juliette is organized, disciplined and sexy sweet. She has built a reputation for assisting difficult CEO's reach their full potential in business and is hired to regain Basri into the corporate world to please the board of directors. These two are fire and ice and I loved them.

Ms. North knows her way around a love story. The Azhars Sheikhs series delivers sweet, heat and romance that will sweep a woman off her feet. The Sheikh's Surprise Triplets puts Basri in the hot seat. The adventurous brother meets his match in workaholic Juliette. He's a main of action. She knows hot to get the job done. The issues arise when these two strong personalities refuse to compromise. Can this dualing duo let go of ego and allow the heart to decide? No matter what the outcome is, readers are in for a bumpy ride.

This is my favorite of all three books in this series. Just when I thought I know what was going to happen next, something different happen. This is a fun, quick, steamy and adventurous read. The story has a great plot and wonderful characters. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Juliette was in Beirut now and had been since yesterday. Safiyah had hired Juliette on the spot over Skype. Juliette had an all expenses paid trip to Lebanon to see if the new position would really work out. Juliette would be working for Dawson Technologies in NYC she had been with the company for five years. But Juliette felt it was time to move on. Juliette had barely put her availability on the job network before Safeyah contacted her. Safiyah said her youngest son Basri was in charge at Soft Works and had met with many struggles . The biggest being the board that doesn’t believe in Basri. Also it was a critical time in the family’s direction. A company recently announced their intent to purchase Basri’s division. If Basri could not win the board over, the division would be sold. Juliette said that” This will be an extremely rewarding challenge , then I assure you , I’ve never met an executive I couldn’t whip into shape”. Safiyah told her the members of the board didn’t understand Basri. Without proper guidance Basri may find the board turn on him. Which could mean him not only losing the company but also his job.Juliette found with how much money she was being offered only complete success will do. When Juliette first came looking for Basri she didn’t realize she was talking to him already as he didn’t tell her. Basri thought Juliette was beautiful but knew from experience not to mix business and pleasure. Juliette was crazy attracted to Basri and had erotic images of them together even though she knew that wasn’t being professional. Then Basri asks Juliette to go on an adventure with him to the mountains and after he talked to her sister Juliette decides to go. Juliette thought of her diagnosis of infertility with no hope of having her own baby when she was in her early twenties. She also knew her and Basri could go no where with the way his people felt about family and having children. Also Juliette remembered how her ex had left her when he found out Juliette could not have children. Basri had never had anyone go with him when he went on any of his getaways before. They were going to the country of Georgia and hike in the mountains.
I liked this story a lot. The only problem I had was even though this was a fast read at times it dragged for me. Other than that the book was perfect as far as I was concerned. I loved the way there was an answer to Juliette not being able to have children. I absolutely loved the ending. I also loved Juliette and Basri together. I wish the story had been longer though only because I liked it so much. But this story still had everything it needed. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend. I wish I could rate this 4.5 as I feel this book deserves it.

Although I prefer Leslie North's sturdy cowboys (as I mentioned in my review of The Sheikh's Fake Fiancee), I still couldn't help myself when I saw The Sheikh's Surprise Triplets. So I requested the arc and Netgalley provided me this beauty. Yay! I was intrigued by the title: how do you get a surprise triplet?
Well, I'm not going to tell you how, because that would definitely spoil the story. But I can tell you that this story was a little more believable than the Sheikh's Fake Fiancee. And definitely a lot sweeter. Basri is just a lot more of a character than Nasir and Asim. But the best part is still their mother: Safiya. She keeps on meddling (or mothering) her boys. This time she hires Juliette as the new PA for Basri. She is quite the opposite of him: punctual, structured and a little bit stuck up. And Basri drives her crazy, with his appointments: 'somewhere at the end of the week' or his changes in the planning: 'I'll be away for the next few days'. But she is determined to get Basri organized and show them how good she is at her job. No easy feat, when your panties are nearly melting everytime your boss is winking at you. And Basri likes to make Juliette's job a challenge, because he likes to see her get frustrated. When he asks her to come on a 'adventure' trip to brainstorm for new business ideas, she decides to go with him. But can they keep a professional distance? Or will the attraction they share combust? Find out in this third part of the Azhar's Sheikh series. Four out of five stars from me.

I really enjoyed reading this book. As in her other books, the author's heroines and her heroes as well are far from everything I always associated with Sheikhs and their likes in romance books. I should probably have read one of her books as my first one of that kind but, well, better late than never, right?

As I've come to expect in her books, Leslie North has some strong characters for us. Special, strong-minded and definitely very likable characters, that balance each other and complete each other in a very positive way.
I like how open they are about their feelings, no cat and mouse games, no hiding or stupid misunderstandings, Basri and Juliette just acknowledge their feelings and go for it.

Even though I spent my time changing between smiling a bit goofily and blinking away some sentimental tears, there is also a lot of action involved. Oh, real action, not of the sexy steamy kind, at least not only that kind of action. Again I love how the author uses characters' strengths and nobody becomes some kind of super hero, they just use what they got and go from there. Okay, they are pretty badass anyway and they are good looking of course but they don't develop some McGyver-Superman-cross-genes along the way.

The story was captivating and sweet and I definitely will come back with more books by the author, again!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

At the beginning of the book, I was wondering how Juliette could ever fall for Basri as they were so very much different! She was very organized and ordered while he was always dreaming up new ideas and totally unscheduled in everything!

When Juliette agrees to go on one of Basri's adventure, you can see a different side of him and how she could fall for him. I liked that while it was very hard for Juliette to accept that she could not have a child due to a medical problem, she did adopt the triplets and not have a surprise pregnancy which would have been pretty unbelievable.

I liked that Basri was such a giving person and willing to let the schools have their new product for free. It was interesting to hear his mother when she mentioned that Basri was so like his father and that they complimented each other just as Basri and Juliette would compliment each other.

I have not read the two previous books and after reading this one, I want to read them - and see how the mother was so instrumental in finding the correct woman for her sons! I like how the book had a lot of romance with a bit of drama and intrigue added into the story.

This started out well for me but slowly became a chore to finish. A somewhat sophisticated PA gets a position with a Lebanese software firm who is fighting a hostile takeover - which everyone but the CEO knows. A few days into the job, the PA goes on a 3 day trek around the Caucasus mountains. In the process of getting rescued from their helicopter crash, they bring along triplets and a 12 year orphan.

The PA language was out of line for her person. Eff- bombs are pretty normal in the alpha hero world of romance books but did not fit for this woman at all. The sheikh proposing after 10 days would indicate a man of heart and passion yet when he didn't immediately spot the pilot of the helicopter - they just moved on as if he didn't exist. This sheikh who was supposedly intelligent had no clue his company was being zeroed in on for takeover - just not feasible.

There was no real chemistry between the sheikh and the PA, yes he bedded her but the sex scenes were sophomoric and didn't lead the reader to believe there was romance involved - just a quick toss in the woods.

Just when I was getting bored with all the Sheikh stories this author gives us this series of the Azhar brothers. Surprise Triplets is the third in this group and I thoroughly enjoyed book 2 and 3. It wasn’t just a story of two people meeting, falling into bed and getting together. These stories had a really good plot along with the hot sex and great chemistry between the H&H. In this one Basri is the brother who keeps to his own path and doesn’t act the way everyone thinks he should. He sort of marches to the beat of his own drummer. When his mother hires Juliette to be his personal assistant to help keep him focused, it is Juliette’s eyes that are opened to what a really amazing and giving man that Basri truly is. The triplets were a great twist to the story. I did not see that coming but it was so moving. Leslie North did a really good job with this one.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

The title of this book was most intriguing, even if I hadn't wanted to listen to the final book in the series the title would have hooked me. I won't ruin the surprise though since it's a key part of the book.

Basri Azhar is a very interesting character, as a creative person he has a very different attitude to mine and I enjoyed this glimpse into the mind of a creatively driven person. His ability to think outside the box and his tendency to be spontaneous made for an interesting story line.

Juliette appears to be Basri's opposite, she lives with structure, everything is planned and she does not seem to like spontaneity, the sparks between her and Basri as hot and immediate.

I enjoyed the story, it was thought provoking and I loved the surprise.

The character voices are excellent and the delivery is natural and smooth.

** I received a copy via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.**
I promised an honest review so here it is....

This is the first book I've read from this author and I would say it can be read as a standalone. It's a fast paced romance with a boss named Basri and his PA Juliette. I enjoyed both characters and even Basri's mother Safiyah. It wasn't a bad story, it was just an okay read for me. The beginning started off slow, I enjoyed the middle but the ending was unbelievable. I enjoy a good romance book but I would have liked it to be believable and up until the ending it was. I expected so much for from this story because it had the potential to be great, it just didn't turn out that way for me. I don't regret reading it and I'm actually glad I had the chance to read this authors work.

The Sheikh's Surprise Triplets (Azhar Sheikhs #3)

Juliette is hired as an administrative assistant to the youngest Azhar son, in hopes of getting him on the right track to keep the board of directors from selling the division Basri sits at the helm of as CEO.

Sparks fly as soon as Juliette and Basri meet. They have a chemistry that is denied by both until they were alone in the wilderness and it could no longer be denied.

I loved this book, in fact it is my favorite of the three in this series.
It was filled with fun, adventure and heart wrenching detail about conditions in Georgia, (the country).
I literally could not put it down once I started reading. It's just that good.
I highly recommend this book and author and gave it a 5 star rating because it was just so well written.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC of this book

Leslie North's Azhar Sheeikhs Series keeps getting better. Although this is a series of the loves of the Azhar brothers they can easily be read as a stand alone. Quick relaxing enjoyment of the chronicles of Juliette and her quest to keep Basri on task. Hired by Basri's mother Juliette flies to Beirut and embarks on a adventure of a life time. Instead of Juliette manipulating Basri to focus on business; he entices her to live a little on a wilderness trek. Life is dangerous for the couple but will lead to the ultimate HEA. ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
To the people that do not know him, Basri comes up as a carefree individual.
They think that he does not take anything seriously.
They were totally wrong.
Basri takes his job + family very seriously.
He just have another way of showing it. If they only try to know the real Basri.
Juliette was hired to keep Basri on the right track. ( with no success )
Juliette thinks of Basri as the wild card.
You never know what he will do next.
As she gets to know him, she sees what nobody sees.
She also start to fall in love with him.
The feeling is mutual. Basri also is falling in love w/ Juliette.
Will their difference tear them apart ?
Love always win.

I loved the latest from Leslie North and the youngest of the Azhar brothers! Basir Azhar is the misunderstood brother, more like their father and is seen as flighty. When his mother hires Juliette to be his new assistant and help him with the troubles with the board he is not on board with it at first and decides to have some fun with her. Juliette meets Basir and sees she will have her work cut out for herself keeping him on task and, but she will rise to the challenge. When they go on a weekend retreat though all things change for them and the sparks that have been simmering go off. They will have to face danger from all around and when they come back they will be closer than either imagined. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Juliette is a professional fixer, she is called in to fix the reputation of difficult CEO's. Basri Azhar is one such CEO. His management style is such that his board is questioning his ability to run this business and his frequent jaunts are seen as not taking his job and his company seriously. Basri invites Juliette on one of his jaunts so she can see how these trips help him in his creative process Leslie North has once again given her readers a well written story that will keep you turning the pages. Each book in this series is a stand alone story.
I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book.

This was the book focusing on the youngest Asher brother Basri. He is by far the most sensitive of the three brothers. He runs the software company and tends to disappear for days when he needs to think. His mother hires Juliette to be his PA and help organize his life. They have a connection immediately but being opposites don't realize the extent of it until, they are traveling alone. While on a journey together they connect and must work together to survive. Great story wonderful end thrown in!

What a great series of brothers. Azhar Sheikhs youngest brother, creative, a bit flighty but a genius that no one understands, until his mother hires a personal assistant who is supposed to keep him on track. That is until they crash in the mountains far away from civilization. Three babies to protect three babies to now raise and the young flighty man becomes more. I voluntarily read a copy and it was great, a love story through trial.

I enjoy reading about sheikh's especially the escapades Leslie North writes.

In this book we meet a Sheikh (Basri) that has his own adventurous way of doing things and a by the book corporate woman (Julliette) whom learns one or two things about life and living.

I loved books 1 and 2 in this series about the other brokers and enjoyed getting to know Basri and Julliette in their love story and of course who can resist babies!

This is a sweet short love story with adventure and suspense! This is the third book in the Azhar Sheikhs Series. I love this book! I think it's my favorite in the Series (but I really love each book!). I love the two main characters, Juliette and Basri. They are strong and healthy. I also like Basri's mother. The story is well written and entertaining. The narration is very great and easy to listen. I like Roberto Scarlato's voice.

This was the third and final book of the Azhar boys and Leslie gave us adventure. Basri the more adventurous of he brothers believes in doing business the way his father always had. With the board trying to take over, Basri's mom feels like she has to step or all will be lost. Juliette is hired to be Basri's PA but she is not sure she signed up for all he has in store.

I loved following Juliette and Basri into the wilderness. Getting to see the playful and the serious sides of Basri was awesome. This was a really relaxing book and enjoyable to listen to.
