I read this book with my students today. It was okay, I think it could’ve been a little bit more detailed than what a garage sale is. I did like the way that they explained that it can be sad to get rid of our things, but getting rid of means we could get new things.
Art is colorful and matches the show. The dialogue is good for kids learning to read, although it probably doesn’t resemble the dialogue in the OG show.
Not a fan of the tv show, I am not a fan of this book either. While the repetition may be good for emerging readers, there is a halting quality to the flow of the story.
