Identifying shapes is a fundamental part of a child's development. Most of the time, shapes are introduced strictly by their geometric properties. This book does a great job of showing shapes applied to the objects all around us. Could be very useful when teaching shape identification to the lower grade levels!

A short book for babies and toddlers that introduces shapes--circle, triangle, square, star, hexagon, oval--in natural world settings. Shapes are spotlighted with different colors while the landscapes are in black and white.

A board book of black and white pictures with shapes being the only color in the spread. Nice simple images.
