He's college football's biggest running back. In every sense of the word. But the only way he's going to lead us to a championship is if I'm his next big score...
Logan Wolfe is a football god. He's also a cocky, arrogant jerk with a filthy mouth and muscles in places that shouldn't even be possible. And for the rest of the season, I have to pretend to be his girlfriend. It was the only way to save him from getting kicked off the team. Now our whole school thinks we're in love. And Logan thinks I secretly want him just as bad as he not-so-secretly wants me. He swears that by the end of the season, he's going to have me begging for more. But I won't give in. No matter how dirty he gets, or how aggressively he tries to make me his, I can't actually jump into bed with him.
Because if I do, this nerdy freshman girl just might fall for the school stud.

Too fast. One second they meet the next they sleep together. Wait don’t blink the next they are in love and then bam the end. You don’t even have to read it I just ruined it all for you. Okay maybe that was a bit harsh. But it is a very fast fluff story. Nothing new, nothing revolutionary, and definitely all done too fast. I didn’t have enough time to really get invested in them. And if I’m not invested why do I care? I don’t. I needed more. I’ll give it 3 stars because yes it was a romance. Typical romance. Maybe if you just want something quick and easy for your afternoon in the sun this is the book for you. But it just wasn’t something I got excited to recommend to anyone. I needed more.
I'm still at the first chapter and I already hate it. I dunno what it is but I cannot stand the h's internal monologue. The H is a bit creepy as well. I might continue reading this tomorrow, though. But I just could not read another page for now.
Edit: I'm in chapter 6 now and I am cringing. 😔
Edit: Her internal monologue basically as of 51%: "Holy shit, a hot guy is walking me home, I bet he wants to fck me. Oh my god, Logan wants to fck me! I'm soooo wet but I don't want him to fck me. Ooohhh he wants to fck me. Wait, I bet they think we're fcking. Oh what ever shall I do? I bet if I wear this dress, he'd want to fck me, but I won't let him. 😠 because I'm not that kind of girl. 😇 Will he want to fck me later, though? I won't let him but will he WANT to? I bet he wants to put his hands inside my panties. I hope he doesn't get any ideas that I wanna fck him when I let him touch me between my legs 😤"
Like jeeez girl, we get it! It's just so annoying! I have never given a 1-star review before, but it got so repetitive that I wanted to scratch my eyes out.
Then after they do it, Logan all of a sudden wants them to be an actual couple. It just came out of nowhere, tbh. Not one instance in the book prior to that did I read that they were developing feelings for one another, other than lust.
"Say the word, and I make you mine. Right here. Right f*cking now. We both know how bad you want to. All you have to do is say it."
When Taylor literally bumps into Logan Wolfe on her way out of a Halloween party, she never expected her life to take a turn for the crazy! She's a conscientious student who is all about her studies, and is focused on packing her life with activities that will stand her in good for the future. Cocky football players are not on her to-do list, no matter how insanely attracted she is to Logan. What starts out as a fake relationship gradually escalates to something much more, but Logan is walking a fine line as the former wild playboy fights to keep his place on the college team.
"He looks over at me. And for maybe the first time since we met, I'm not hiding how it feels to look into his eyes. It takes my breath away. And it always has."
This story was funny and hot. Taylor adorably fought her feelings for Logan any which way she could, while Logan bulldozed his way into her life and heart. He was arrogant and domineering, but he accepted his feelings for Taylor for what they were. Real. There were parts of this story that I felt could have done with more elaboration, but overall, I really enjoyed it.
I’m a big fan of sport romance especially when a nerd is involved and as soon as i saw this book on sale i had to grab it.
This is my first book my Michaela Scott and it won’t be my last really enjoyed this book, it was everything i could have wanted and just loved the whole story and the way it was written.
Logan was such an interesting character, i really liked the way his character was written and i really felt his dialogue was exactly written in the way any guy would talk. He was so sweet but such a cocky guy he made me laugh a lot.
Taylor was another great character and i loved her nerdy side but i also loved her naught side as well, it was so good to see Logan bring her out of her shell and i enjoyed reading these characters grow.
Fantastic story, pretty much devoured in one sitting and would recommend this to any sports romance lovers. It’s not a big novel and i loved that it had me hooked from page 1.
My copy also had a bonus novel as well and super excited to get into that one.
It was hot at times and I give kudos to the author for the fact I finished it, but ultimately it wasn't anything to rave about. It was one of those predictable stories that felt too similar to numerous others I have read before. There was nothing about it that stood out... well, nothing positive anyway.
IMO the heroine of this book was a bit of a dummy who allowed herself to be walked over too many times by the hero. I didn't like that. I also didn't like it when they fell out, then came back together and exchanged 'I love you's in front of a crowd full of people (and a camera). It was all so very cliche.
I just stumbled on this when I browsed Kindle unlimited. The story was intriguing and very entertaining.
However, there were so many grammatical errors and typographical ones too. There were also repeat sentences and confusing words used that it got a bit frustrating to read.
The story was good though, maybe just not executed that well. It just needs a bit more editiong and a few touch ups. Also, maybe a bit more from both main characters as there wasn't much romance in the story, just a lot of chemistry and erotic scenes.
The story of hockey badboy Logan who fake dates nerd Taylor in order to clean up his football image.
This is a classic trophe which I always enjoy hence the 4 stars. It was a light, fluffy read with no angst, no self-discovery or character development and a classic cheesy HEA.
It’s not hugely memorable as it has no standout features but it was pretty hot and I read it really quickly. A nice light read.
There are a few repeated sentences and some words are overused. ‘Insane’ 48 times? Once three times on one page! But criticism aside, I enjoyed it.
I am giving this only three stars. It was ok. Sorry I hate giving ok reviews but honestly that's all it was. There was little to no build between the two main characters. It was just bam. And I'm not opposed to the f bomb. But man no one using it in every single sentence they say. And Logan does. It was a little annoying. Another thing that made my eyes cross was the over I mean over use of her curvy little body. We got it she was curvy. That's the only way Logan ever described her ever. It made me bonkers.
There wasn’t something about this book that made me want to finsh it but I couldn’t really tell you what it was. I was impressed with the sex scenes. They were HOT and held my attention better than most books. However there was no real storyline, character development, or consistency. We absolutely nothing about these characters. I don’t even think we learn Taylor’s last name. This book has potiential but needs a lot of cleaning up.
I don’t like to say things are terrible because it takes a lot of balls to write a book. So kudos for writing in the first place, okay? But the tense used bothered me it was like we were IN the characters heads but in a superficial way that was telling instead of showing. Some of their thoughts made me cringe in a bad way.. stereotypical cocky male who thinks like a 14 year old boy. It was no bueno. DNF @ 30% mark.
“This one’s for you, babe. And so’s the next one. And the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that, from now until the day I hang up the fucking cleats. They’re all for you.”
I won this game because every time they put the ball in my hands, I ran towards her. That’s what I’m going to be running towards from now on, and that means there isn’t anyone on the planet who’s going to be able to stop me.”
I can't resist a college-sports story when one half is a popular kick and the other is an introverted "nerd" or knows nothing about sports. It makes for a better storyline. Taylor is no different. She's not a nerd but she's a freshman who would rather study than watch a game. I loved the reading banter between the two.
2.5 stars —> it was cute, but it felt a little too quick for me. Everything happened very fast and I didn’t really feel connected to Taylor and Logan. It also irritated me how halfway through the book they decided to label Taylor as this nerdy nobody when.. hello.. she’s super hot and cares about her grades? That makes her a nerd? Lol
4 stars for my baby boy. He was a college guy with a lot of love for football and for a redhead girl ♥ Liked the story and hot scenes. I loved her pregnant and about to start a family. This was a fun book to read. I laughed a lot, too. Dani was crazy, man jaajjaaj
So bad....couldn’t make it through 20%. The “hero” is completely repulsive and the roommate character is so annoying. Very juvenile writing style, I’ve read this plot line in like 100 other books and it’s much better done. Definitely a flop for me!
This is a good read and has two brilliant books for you to read. Stud is an easy going book with college students, parties and football. The main characters are amazing .
I really liked this book — the romance was believable and I enjoyed reading about it. I like that there wasn’t any angst or unnecessary misunderstandings between the couple — and that the couple grew closer by facing obstacles together.
I reallyyy enjoyed this book a lot but there was something missing I’m not sure what but there was and that’s the only reason I’m not giving 4 stars. But overall it was a great fake relationship to real book. I also REALLY loved the epilogue
This was an ok book, there were some areas that just didn’t gel, and it seemed to skip an awful lots, which was leaving me with lots of questions that were never answered
