Enjoyed this book less than the first one on module DD102. Finishing this represents being almost at the end of this course! Eek!

Used it for uni, fully couldn’t even be assed to finish the final chapter because oh my goodness it just dragged ON AND ON.
I learned some interesting concepts throughout, and there were some interesting points, but the entire chapter on the Olympics made me want to pluck each individual hair on my body out with tweezers…… still wouldn’t have been as painful as reading all the pages of statistics that had so little relevance to the course in my opinion.
I’m one person, so my opinions are moot really, just glad its done.

Read this for my uni course and found it more complex than the first textbook. Had to re-read a few times to get the gist of the section.

Read for OU. Opposite problem to the first book - material is often too dense, but still dry and boring.

I liked this book much more than the first one. The Ordering Lives strand was definitely my favourite strand of the module. I really enjoyed every chapter.
