My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I will be buying this, but I’m waiting to get the whole serial together!

The cover is steamy!

This is the second part in a new serial series! It is for adults only due to content. Since this is a serial, it is mandatory to read the parts in order. Serials are different because they are not a whole book, they are like an episode in a TV show. Some people love them, and others are better off waiting until the whole series is published and reading it like one book because they don’t like the cliffhanger feel of each part. You do you and pick what works best for you.

This part was not as exciting or connected for me, but it was still an awesome read. I think whenever you have a serial that some parts are more exciting than others. Maggie is torn between the brothers, and Sebastian is very intense. She is getting into her role as Kitty. She is trying to make new friends. Things happen, but I refuse to ruin the story for you, so you need to read it. I think the next episode is going to be interesting, and it needs to get here quick!

I recommend this serial to vampire lovers who enjoy the serial format! What will happen next!!

•••••••••••••••••
Ms. V's Called by the Vampire Part 2 which follows the ending of Part 1 is as fantastic as Part 1 was. This is going to be a good series.
Margaret Evans aka:Maggie aka: Kitty Kane is human living and working in a mansion with two vampires. But falling in love with one of them wasn't the plan or was it? Maggie is taking the role of the  writer Kitty Kane seriously. Than Sebastian takes Kitty Kane to the social media. Maggie is ecstatic. What more could a girl want after having no life because of her heart now after her heart transplant she's having a life she never had.
Sebastian and Alexander Hart are Vampires who are brothers. Alexander wants Maggie so much he can't help himself. Sebastian believes that Maggie heart is his dead mates and Maggie is there for him. The the Hart Brothers have some great plans for Kitty Kane she is going to be a magnificent hit once they get the show on the road. Yep they have big plans.

Oooooo this is getting good!

Maggie learns the consequences of meeting new people, while starting to live in the persona of Kitty Kane.

While she believes herself in love with Alexander, her heart palpitates whenever she's in the presence of Sebastian. She fights the feelings that threaten to overtake her whenever she's around him blaming it on compassion for his loss of Elizabeth, her heart donor.

Will she be able to continue the fight as she finds herself touring with Sebastian while Alexander is living in L.A.?

As stated in part 1, I am enjoying the writing style of Ms. Vaughn.
Part 2 has the cliffhanger conclusion's tempo kicking up a couple of notches with Sebastian and Maggie's relationship developing. It makes her transplanted heart mostly happy but it comes with sadness in Maggie's soul. Without skimming the synopsis' of the next parts, I am not going to assume a MFM HEA. Who am I kidding? How can there be a better outcome for MC's?

Cheers

Called by the Vampire - Part 2
by V. Vaughn
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
WOW! This is part 2 of Called by The Vampire. Again what a awesome read. Part 2 picks up from part 1. It's full of drama, betrayal, loss, Love, loyalty and it will capture your attention from the beginning to the end. This story is again about a love of a lifetime. The story is still about Maggie Evans and the Hart Brothers. Maggie is a recipient of a heart transplant and the donor was Sebastian first love. But Maggie is falling in love with the younger brotherAlexander. The two Vampires are sexy and panty dropping gorgeous and Maggie is Feisty as ever. V. Vaughn is a gifted and talented. If you enjoyed part 1 you will enjoy part two. Oh My the story is heating up. Oh What! My this a story about a love of a lifetime. If you are looking for a book that, from the first page it will grab your attention, pulls you into the story and captivates you until you’ve finished reading it. Called by the Vampire part 2 is a story you can't help but to fall in love with the Called by the Vampire. This is one of those story that will turn out, how Ms. Vaughn makes the cliffhanger, romantic exciting wrought with difficulties and tears, and the ending as happy as you wish for any AWESOME tale. NO ROOM FOR ERROR and of course there isn't any. I absolutely enjoyed Called by the Vampire part 2 as well. it's a great addition! THIS IS A MUST READ I certainly recommend this book to readers that like to read a Phenomenal romance with a cliffhanger and some interesting surprises. I voluntarily reviewed this book, because I absolutely love sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers.

I really enjoyed Part 1 of Called by the Vampire, and I also enjoyed Part 2, but not quite as much. Part 2 focused a lot on Maggie making friends from town, and that took away from the sort of macabre feeling I enjoyed from Part 1, but the story is still interesting, and overall, I did enjoy part 2. I was missing the progression of the story from book 1, but this book was still entertaining. You should definitely read Part 1 before this book to get the feel and picture of the whole story. I also liked Maggie's character better in Part 1 because she felt more naïve in part 2, and she didn't feel like a good fit for either of the vampires. The story did pick up towards the end, and I'm really interested to see where the story is going to go, and there's still the mysterious element going on that I enjoy, and we get a little steam in this book, which was nice, but I want to feel more of a connection between the characters; especially Maggie and the vampires, it felt like she's rather blasé about her feelings. I look forward to seeing how this story will play out with Maggie being stuck in the middle of the two Hart brothers, and also her need to be independent. Maggie isn't sure what she wants, and there's lots of secrets to still be discovered, so it'll be great to read where V. Vaughn takes the story. I'm not sure how many parts are going to be part of this story, but hopefully not too many because I don't like waiting for the full story. I'm a I want it now! type ;-)

SIZZLING ROMANCE & DRAMA TOO!

This captivating read lures you into the lives of Maggie, Sebastian, and Alexander with flirtatious innuendos, breathtaking scene descriptions, a bit of drama, and mouth-watering sensuous romance.

Maggie adores her job as a cover writer for Alexander and Sebastian. Her new heart pushes her towards Sebastian, but her brain pushes her towards Alexander. She also wants some freedom to make friends but the brothers are possessive and set ground rules for her to follow.

Incredible read with a surprise cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next book. Maggie is sassy and holds her own with the two brothers, but deep inside her, she does question why she is staying. Normal world versus non-human world makes this story a most intriguing read. If you treasure paranormal romance this is a fabulous book/series for your library. I loved this book so much {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy}. Without reservations, I recommend this book/series.

Maggie decides that living life to the fullest after her heart transplant does not mean being torn between the Hart brothers. Instead of the handsome vampires, she makes friends with some humans her own age, even kissing one. The brothers (each unaware of her mixed feelings) aren't willing to let her venture there. The consequences force her to comply with their wishes. Well, she partially complies. One of them pulls to her with a stronger force. One is willing to cross the line. Which one?

Just when she thinks she has her life in order, her professional world is progressing, her personal life is....not what she planned. A startling happening ends part two. How will she react? Can't wait for part three.
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

Called by the Vampire, Part 2, sees our heroine Maggie getting deeper and deeper into the mystery of the Hart Brothers and into her role as their nom de plume, Kitty. She is falling hard for Alexander while her heart draws her to Sebastian. Maggie sees firsthand how brutal vampires can be and learns that her agreement with the Harts is more complicated than she first thought. About to embark on a nationwide book tour, she finds her soulmate gone and her heart’s mate close to her side. What comes next for Maggie as she tries to figure out how she feels? Time will tell.
Ms Vaughn writes well, developing her story in a complex but very clear way. The answers are there, but they are just out of reach for both Maggie and the reader. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

In part 2 of this series working for the hart brothers is very unsual. They have changed her style and her name so far but she was really changed even before that when she had a heart transparent where the spirit of the donor stayed with her. Her heart/spirit wants Sebastian but she wants Alexander. Her brain tells her it's a bad move.
Love the twists and turns in this story. I still have no idea if she will end up with what brother. The characters are amazing and have lots of depth to them. Vampire fans you will love this one. It's like a vampire soap opera.

Another scintillating episode!!! 4.5 stars

Maggie loves her job working with the Hart brothers and her fame as Kitty is about to take off. Torn between the brothers; one to her preference, one preferred by her heart – she makes friends with the humans her age instead. This does not work out as planned by any stretch.

We are further drawn into her thoughts and feelings, and while this feels like just a glimpse of her experiences; the story does not follow a predictable formula, and the reader is left eager for more!!

It gets even more complicated in this second part of the story for her. Sebastian and Alexander call to her in different ways. She wants to make a good choice but they show her that there are no easy choices any longer.

There are so many secrets about Sebastian and Alexander. I do wish they narrated some of the story so I could understand better what is motivating their actions. I feel like I just know a little bit of the surface and am looking forward to seeing what is next for them all.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

The plot thickens.....
Maggie decides to hang out with humans - dangerous consequences.
Maggie and Alexander make love - again consequences.
Her soul wants Alexander, but it is dangerous, especially when her heart wants Sebastian. Dang cliffhanger!
I loved this one and did not put it down. Loved the back and forth with these three and can not wait to see what happens next. Knowing the way Ms. Vaughn writes, there will be another twist coming! Bring on Part 3!

Maggie is drawn to Alexander though she still has feelings for Sebastian. Deciding to seek normal, human friends, she visits the coffee shop where she met Aiden. She enjoys her day off and the new friends she makes. Sebastian isn't pleased about Maggie's new friends and the day ends badly!
Engaging continuation to this paranormal romance. More insight into Maggie, and more action, through the human friends she makes. Still somewhat slow moving in parts, especially concerning the brothers. Remain intrigued in the series. 3 1/2 stars.
Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.

Called by the Vampire Part Two by V. Vaughn picks up where part one left off.

This is a great written book filled with drama, secrets and romance. It may not be as exciting throughout as part one was but there's a great build up to a surprising cliffhanger. Now I can't wait to read part three of this serial. I would love to see Mrs. Vaughn write part of the serial in Sebastian and/or Alexander's point of view but then I guess that would take part of the suspense out of the story.

I received a complimentary copy for me to voluntarily read in exchange for a honest review

In book two of Called by The Vampire Maggie feels the pull to get out of the house and meet up with a few of the locals. Sebastian warns Maggie that it's not a good idea and when she disobeys she learns the hard way that the sexy Vampire brothers mean business. Sparks fly between Alexander and Maggie but when Sebastian informs her of her up coming promotional tour is when things become interesting. I love this series and these amazing characters that are so fun and command attention. Cannot wait for the next instalment.

Now that Maggie knows the truth about Sebastian and Alexander, her life has changed forever. She has to accept the fact that they are vampires, and they have both light and dark sides. With her mind trying to decide on how to proceed she tries to make friends with locals her own age, but things do not go as planned. As seduction increases in her life, so does danger, will she even make it out of this job alive?

The story is heating up and the world for Maggie is changing fast. The story starts to really bring in that the two men are vampires and how it will effect her life with them. Not sure if most women wouldn't have run from the two, but love makes a person more forgiving. But by the end, I'm not sure if she will be able to anymore. Can't wait to see what happens in part three. The story does get a little spicier than part one did.

Maggie and Alexander are secretly dating. For a reason unbeknownst to Maggie, he's hiding their relationship from Sebastian.

Maggie's heart belonged to Sebastian's soul mate, Elizabeth, but when she died in a car accident and Maggie received her heart, she inherited her emotions too.

Maggie doesn't want Sebastian, she wants his brother. And the boys are playing a game with each other using Maggie as the prize.

I am really enjoying this series! I didn't want to put the down, One thing the author does well is to lead the reader in one direction and then throw a curve that changes things completely. I'm left on pins and needles wanting to know what will happen next.

This is part 2 of an ongoing series.

Maggie loves her new job but, while waiting for everything to unfold. She wants to get out and meet people. Enjoy being able to do things because, she wasn't able to when she was sick. Unfortunately being attracted to both brothers is chaotic, so she decides to flirt with a local boy. Yet, the vampires have totally different ideas.

Quite a twist with book two.

What woman wouldn't want two vampires vying for her. But is it true soul mate or just longing for lost love? Onto book three!
