It's a bit weird that an elephant and a mouse are in a classroom of human kids. Why couldn't they all be all animals or all humans? It doesn't make sense. And what's the story there? Is he the fat kid? Stop comparing humans to animals. Weird.

Nathan can't wait to start his first day of school, but he has one problem - Nicholas Alexander. Nicholas Alexander insists on going with, and this turns out to be a disaster. Nicholas Alexander interrupts the teacher while reading - Nathan gets blamed. Nicholas Alexander ruins the puzzle - Nathan's new friends blame him. After Nathan realizes that Nicholas Alexander is just butting in because he doesn't want Nathan to make new friends and forget him, Nathan and Nicholas Alexander come to an understanding. Nathan will go to school alone, but Nicholas Alexander will always be his best friend.

A comforting tale for students just starting school.
