It’s a holiday tradition in our house to read this zany book. You really need an expressive adult reading aloud to other adults to fully appreciate it.

Politically correct nonsense. I was given this book to read in my ESL class and stopped halfway through to prevent my students from being misled by the agenda of the book.

I never would have imagined that one of these easy reader books, even one by Daniel Pinkwater, could be so good. Pure genius.

Makes as much sense as any other holiday myth. But, a lot funnier!
