No guy has ever been able to get me off. It was my little secret. Until I accidentally told the whole world. Spilling something so humiliating on my social media is bad enough, I never expected anyone to actually message me about it. Especially not someone as smug and sexy as Heath "O Maker" James. He tells me he doesn't just THINK he can get me off—he knows it. As hot as he is, he's a total stranger. I shouldn't give him the time of day. But the more he talks... the more he tells me all the dirty things he wants to do to me... The more I can't say no. And once Heath gets his way, I'll be only screaming one word: Yes!
This is a standalone novella with a HEA and NO cheating! Penny Wylder writes just that-- wild romances. Happily Ever Afters are always better when they're a little dirty, so if you're looking for a page turner that will make you feel naughty in all the right places, jump right in and leave your panties at the door!
OMG I read this review of this book and thought my friend has been outed, and immediately phoned him. The premise of the book is that a woman has never had an orgasm from sex with a guy and puts it on social media (as one does!)
My best mate is in his 50s, not your typical Harlequin hero, but the nicest and most open of guys. He advertises on Craigslist, Bumble, Tinder and many more always looking for a one night stand, that's his thing. His favourite kink (he has many) is 'hot wives', married women. He gets plenty of responses especially from women travelling to Miami for a short time. They chat online, then phone, then Starbucks and if all is good to go, a motel. If it's not, a kiss on the cheek and that's it He often scores two or three times a week.
Then he found one woman who had never got off with a guy. A challenge! She's still with him, it's months now, he can't stand that he can't make her come so she hooked him. He's going to do it one day, he just knows it! Actually yesterday he'd just come back from one of his casual girlfriend's (he has them too) and was having a shower when El turned up and he says gotta go....!
When I phoned him and read him the review, he said he wasn't disgusting, it's true he's not, but whether or not he's a manwhore he had to admit is debateable. LOL
I'm never going to read this book, but I'm 5-starring because it inspired a review that gave me and my best mate a great start to the day.
Why do I bother? Really? With a premise like this book has why do I bother??? I feel sick even wasting 10 min reading the sample!
A guy who has sex with countless women. Who pings a random woman to help her get the O since she claims she hasn't had any guy give her one before. That's the disgusting premise.
CAN'T STAND MANWHORES!!! why did I even try this book!
Get Me Off is exactly what the title implies. Orgasms and lots of them!! When Callista accidentally posts about her lack of orgasms during sex on Twitter, her account goes into meltdown.
Totally humiliated, she is contacted by Heath O-Maker James on messenger offering his services; satisfaction guaranteed.... Although she ignores his offer, fate has another idea.
This is a perfect read for when you are looking for a quick, well written smutty romance that will incinerate your panties. It was cute, humorous and bloody hot. I’m not saying that lightly, it was blazing!
Another hot one from Penny Wilder! Man, can that woman write a steamy scene! I am all over Penny's books when she publishes a new one and she has not disappointed me yet. She does such a good job of bringing a little bit of taboo and mixing that with true love and a happily ever after. The little bit of taboo in this story is two strangers meeting under hilarious circumstances and hooking up. Circumstances being, tweeting an embarrassing fact to the world that you have never had an orgasm. Social media is such a huge part of our lives right now that I can completely imagine the scenario really happening. I highly doubt we would get our very own Heath O-Maker James though, more like the guy on the subway. You'll understand when you read the book....so go read the book! ARC provided by author.
❥𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚: No guy has ever given 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂 an orgasm and she accidentally shares that on twitter. She get’s a message from 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉, who calls himself '𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶-𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓' (𝘦𝘸, 𝘯𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴).🙄 Apparently my guy is a master in the bedroom and he makes all the ladies go wild. Even got some reviews on twitter to back him up.. (𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴.)
I don’t really know what made me decide to read this, because none of that sounds appealing to me. '𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒐-𝑶' 𝒂𝒏𝒅 '𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶-𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓' thing was so awkward it made my skin crawl.
Maybe this is just a sign for everybody to delete Twitter.
Have you ever accidently shot off a text to someone, only to realize you sent it to the wrong person as soon as you hit send? There is that moment of panic that you try to determine if you said something that could be incriminating or could cause you grief. That is how this book starts, only 10 x's worse. You see, Callista was on Twitter and texting her friend and accidently typed a very personal secret for the whole Twitter-world to read. Which brought her to Heath "the O-maker" James' radar
Heath was an confident, dirty talking alpha. He knew he could help Callista out with her "problem" yet she was apprehensive with good reason.
Callista was a sassy heroine. She was jaded where it came to men. She had never had a relationship, and didn't allow men getting close enough to hurt her.
~no cheating ~hot sex scenes ~om drama - none ~ow drama ~very minimal pushing away ~no epilogue, just a HFN ending
Although this wasn't my absolute favorite by this author, I am a fan and will continue to check out her books!
I loved the set up for this one. She muddles up messenger with twitter and accidentally tells the world (and not her bestie as she intended) she's never had an o with a man. She immediately becomes an internet sensation with her own trending hashtag (#no-o) and, to her horror,is recognised wherever she goes.
Luckily, a hot twitter user comes to her rescue and smut follows. It's witty, light and filthy, it reminded me of an Alexa Riley bit without the caveman alpha. It's not one to take too seriously, but a short, fun read.
This is a short erotica novella. The story starts when the female protagonist is chatting with her friend Stephanie through Twitter's messenger & tries to console her after she was dumped by her boyfriend. Mistakenly she tweets that no man before gave her an orgasm. Being followed by a couple of thousands of followers from her town stirs things up and people will label her as the No-O girl! Heath, the male protagonist contacts her via Twitter's messenger offering to change that! She does not accept, but destiny brings them together & fireworks start from there.
The story might sound silly but it was a fun fast read for me. There is hardly any character development and one can even question how Heath changed so fast from being the man who dated many women to wanting to be the one woman's man! If I want to compare this novella to other books of the different genres this would be rated a lot lower but compared to the other erotica novellas that I have read I'd give Get Me Off 4.0 stars out of 5.0.
Necesito ropa interior nueva!!!!!
2.5 sad stars. Humm...I don't know how to start this one. The first couple of chapters were entertaining. I was really getting into the h character. Then the H character, In my opinion was portrayed in a shady-light to me. I had more questions than answers. It was difficult to digest the H who likes sex with a variety of women could quickly switch to be a one woman man. It was a struggle. I wish we had his perspective. I think that would have helped with the relationship building and understanding him as a person. Secondly, I just didn't feel the connection or romance between these two characters. Something was definitely missing. Lastly, I didn't like that you had to sign up to monthly newsletter to get the epilogue. I didn't sign up. I believe the reader should get the whole story. Don't short change me. I paid for it. I deserve the full story. It feels real sneaky to do it this way. Overall, this story didn't do it for me. I'm definitely in the minority on this one. Better luck next time.
It might happen to you too. You’ll wake up one day and say “i need to read something really hot today”. I chose this one, based on Isabella’s review.
Unfortunately, it was “No-O” for me. Not that much smut as expected, some minor drama that I feel had no place there (), but I admit it was fun enough, hot enough and I could still recommend you to read it when the mood strikes.
This was a very short but funny story! That's why the 4 and not 5 stars, because in that little time I couldn't fall in love with them.
So we get to meet Callista "The No-O" and she made a little mistake that turned out a bit bigger than you would think. That's actually something that could happen to me, I always have many windows ( currently don't know the name of those things ) open so I can check everything at the same time.
Then we get to meet Heath "The O-Maker" James for me he was a funny and cocky man. He responds to her mistake post and from there on the fun begins!
It has lot's of funny and cocky ( the cocky attitude not the actual thing ) moments.
I'm glad my bf wasn't near me or he would've looked weird at me as I was giggling most of the book. It was so damn funny and still sometimes a bit on the weird side. Like how they met it was so sudden in the beginning and really fast actually because they spoke the day before. But that's explained later.
Lot's of steamy moment's because yeah well "The O-Maker" want's to make "The No-O" become a "The No-O no longer"
That's also something that was weird to me probably because I'm not that famous on the social media, but how things can get so far so soon online! The whole town knew the next day okay even if it's a small town that's so fast and very weird for her.
There are insta-lust books that work and then there are some that don't. I'm sad to say that this book was more of the latter for me. I mean, that cover alone is already a guaranteed star! But unfortunately, this quick read kinda fell short of my expectations. Yes, it was sexy and hot. But I wanted more for the plot and there really wasn't much going there. This plot could've really worked in a full-length book. Le sigh.
You know this is going to be a fun filled sexy read from the minute the story starts.
Trying to make her friend feel better after she's cheated on by her boyfriend, Callista accidentally announces on her twitter account that no man has ever given her an orgasm. Before she knows it she's the new star of twitter and starts receiving messages from 'O' Maker Heath James offering to give her pleasure beyond her wildest dreams. Could he be the one that does?
There is a great banter between the characters that makes them instantly likeable and lots of funny moments. Loved this book brilliantly written with lots of O O O moments. Penny Wylder has a winning formula.
Penny Wylder...will you marry me?? You and all of your dirty, naughty, kinky filthy thoughts!!!!! Sweet Jesus. Penny has taken us on another sexcapade!!! But this time she brought us into the online playground of Twatter!! I'm not saying anything more about this story except Get Me Off will get YOU off over and over and over. Penny gives it to us quick and hard so anything I say might be a spoiler!!! The only spoiler here is that I LOVE THIS BOOK AND PENNY WYLDER!! She's become an insta one-click author for me because when I want something DIRTY, she serves it on a shiny platter!!!
If you haven't gotten off yet...I mean Get Me Off, DO IT!!! Because you will lol!
This was a short quick read that I liked the cover of this book is hot. Heath and Callista meet through Twitter as Callista accidentally shared on Twitter that she hasn't found her big O. This was an insta-love type of story and these two get hot and heavy fast the sex scenes in this book were really good. This was a funny story. It was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
Sexually deprived girl about to break her own rules because of the hottest man alive + super hot guy straight out of all of our fantasies except he's a manwhore who by some miracle suddenly wants to settle down with our speeshiaal MC because "romance" + best friend with very active sex life who is comfortable with her own sexuality for a change who keeps encouraging MC to step out of her comfort zone and explore because otherwise the MC would be a boring potato the entire book + jealous random woman trying to steal golden cock for some reason and torments the MC + MC being sad and deciding she will be fine without men in the middle of moving on + hot dude showing up and explaining himself + kiss and make up + HEA = 98% of contemporary romance novels.
I don't even need to read these books anymore to know what happens. The only difference between Get Me Off and 99% of these books is that Get Me Off is actually hot! There's just something about the sex in Penny Wylder's books that just works for me. Most eroticas make me roll my eyes, but that's not the case with Penny's books. So I just enjoy them for what they are. I ignore the weird, cliche, and sometimes creepy aspects of the books (like the fact that a random dude just messages the MC for sex and after being refused proceeds to track down her location, show up where she is and pretend to act like they met by coincident. And this behavior is not an issue in the book and they end up together. This is what I call the hot face effect. Because if this dude was not described as a hot, dog loving man who's super good in bed and was instead a bald fat hairy man in his 40s, y'all would not have found anything sexy in this book, and it would've been a horror story instead of romance!) and just read it as fantasy romance. It's easy since these books are really short so they don't have time to really bother me. The plot seems to be irrelevant. So I've learned not to take them too seriously. I just read and enjoy what we all wish could actually be real. Sometimes books are just that and they don't need to be anything more.
This story was light-hearted, humorous, and amusing with a touch of smutty goodness! It started off with a very realistic feel, then teetered on being slightly outrageous, but always remained entertaining! All of the silly banter between Callista and Stephanie made for a very new-adult feel but the smutty aspect of the story balanced that out. This is the third book that I've read by this author and I like that her female leads aren't doormats. The POV was singular and I would've liked more insight from Heath, but this was an enjoyable read!
**ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review.
This is NA erotica. I never did grow to like the Hero. The author did not convinced me that he could settle down with one woman. He was very slick and quite smug. He had a huge ego built up by having sex with multiple women and publicizing it. The heroine was just TSTL and acted like a star struck groupie.
That was hot! Loved the premise. Enjoyed every second of the audiobook. There were times when the MC became annoying. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable read. This author is quickly becoming one of my erotica author faves!
I don't think I've ever laughed so much while reading a book.
First, Get Me Off definitely had it's funny moments. No, not the ha ha or I'm crying while laughing moments. The ha ha this is kind of weird and cringey moments. In it, you will meet Callista and Heath. They are also known as the No-O and the O-Maker. It was weird how they met and something always seemed a bit off about it.
The romance was hot but I was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Which it did.. and even then I was like - interesting, but still weird. Even the other side characters in this book were meh. Weird but meh. For example, when that random girl at the bar wanted to sleep with Heath because of him being the O-maker.. like damn girl, calm ya tits.
DNF at 37%. This one sounded more interesting than the actual reality. Found it rather silly.....and also kinda boring....I lost interest even before I got to the sex scenes. No smut for me.😕
