What a great book for those of us who are new to sailing. What I really liked was that the author not only explained WHAT actions are needed to effectively sail, but HOW those actions effect the boat. I feel like I have a much better grasp on the physical forces involved in sailing, and now that I understand those forces I can understand why the boat acts the way it does and how I can get it to do what I want.
