I really admire Sally Clarkson's encouraging, life-giving voice. You can always count on her to give you hope and she does that here, telling moms how to start what are essentially discipleship groups (i.e., mom heart groups). Lots of good principles to glean along the way, from the heart of a kind, affirming person who's rooting for you.

This is a great how-to book for starting, leading, and tending a “mom heart” group. It offers logistical help, resource suggestions, and Biblical encouragement for the leader to disciple others and to tend to her own “Mom heart.” I’m not sure if this is the time for me to start my own mom heart group or not yet, but either way, it inspired me to be more intentional and gospel-focused as I lead and participate in other groups, and to just minister to the hearts of all I meet, even in informal ways. I love Sally’s heart for moms to grow in their understanding of God’s heart for us and his plan for motherhood and this book was a great introduction to it and inspiration to live in light of that and to pass it on to other women.
