This is book 3 in the CLUB V series and in this book, its about Pete, the owner of Club V, a sex club for consenting adults and Penny is a woman sent by her magazine to interview the head partner of a sex club. When really Penny is there to get the goods and blow Club V out of the waters…there is something personal in this for Penny for she has a vendetta against Pete that goes back to their college years. She didn’t think the attraction would still be there yet it is. Pete feels this overwhelming attraction for Penny and feels this feeling like he knows her, has know her for a while but cant place why he does. The attraction between this is steamy and spicy. The lead up to everything coming to a head was great, for there was sultry, passionate and steamy. I do want to say, this didn’t have the immediate connection as the other stories because the male lead came off as too big of a jerk but he was redeemed by the end of the story and the heroine came off as too angry but as the story progressed, I still was hooked into their story, the background and I loved the action, their background and the ending. I would have liked to know how everything ended up between them but as it was, I enjoyed the steamy factor and the redemption factor of this story as a 2nd chance love story. My Rating: 4.5 stars ***** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
This is a steamy short read and the series has been just as good, I loved how they are all hot sizzling reads with alpha men. They say make up sex is good but I can only imagine that revenge sex would be even better! There is a history between the characters of this book which has Penny gunning for revenge but she gets more than she bargained for!
A short, fast paced, sizzling read by Gisele St. Claire with a great storyline that is easy to follow, heartbreak, revenge, hot chemistry, some twists, and of course... oh so hot sex scenes.
I volunteered to review an advanced readers copy of this book.
I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. St. Claire's Club V series is great and Uncover does not disappoint. The vindictive side of me feels like Pete got away too easy but seeing past that I enjoyed how this story "uncovered". Highly recommended.
As much as I like this story about Penny, then a young college student who was completely humiliated by Pete🐺🍌🌋 in a sexual come-on episode in an Elevator ten years ago, It's a total fantasy that she would or could forgive him in one🔥hot naaasssty 🌙night in the present. There is even a video📷 of the college encounter that comes up when her name is googled. How could a young, not very attractive woman ever get past that? It was a life changing event and not for the better.💔💔💔 It's supposed to be a story of Penny's chance to get personal revenge on Pete🐺, one of the present day owners of Club V, a gentleman 's private sex club🍌🌋👋. It's ten years later, Penny💋💔 is an up and coming writer📝 for the magazine, Expose, and she wants to expose the supposedly illegal activities going on at Club V, namely virgin auctions. In the process, she will also expose and get her revenge on Pete🐺🍌🌋👋 for totally humiliating her so long ago and nearly ruining her life. Pete is a tall, handsome💪, alpha stud🐺🍌🌋👋 that has been living in his own private dream world🌍. He has Young beautiful submissive women💋 at his beck and call, whenever and wherever he wants them. He is so self assured, so arrogant in his own sexuality, that he doesn't see Penny💋💔 coming, and he is completely taken by surprise. YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
I'm giving five 🌟stars because the book is a great story and well written, even if I disagree with it.
Club V co-owner Pete Wilson is concerned about how Club V might be portrayed in the media and has an article lined up ... an endorsement from a well known magazine could be the sort of thing to legitimize Club V in the public eye. Journalist Penny Saxs is given an undercover assignment by her editor Lauren ... write an expose about the virgin auctions going on at Club V by interviewing founder Peter Wilson. Ten years ago the gorgeous Pete had humiliated Penny and now Penny thinks that once she gets the story out, she'll be able to put the whole humiliating incident behind her. Pete is bowled over by the stunning woman who shows up to interview him and wants her even more when she turns him down. Penny hadn't expected Pete to look even better now and thinks there's no way she could be attracted to him. Pete wants Penny badly and they have a wild time on a date. When Penny's coworker gets proof of the virgin auction, Penny tells Pete she's going to do an expose on the virgin auctions at Club V. What happens when Pete finds out who Penny really is?
Undone is suspenseful, steamy and full of twists and turns. Gisele St. Claire paired an interesting story and fun characters for a book I could not put down. I highly recommend this book.

So Peter runs an exclusive sex club that also hosts a regular virgin auction and Penny is a reporter that wants to expose the clubs seedy underside. But as it turns outs, Penny and Peter and familiar with each other - 10 years ago they attended the same college and Peter pulled a cruel prank on her. Funny thing is, as life changing as the event was for Penny, Peter does not recognize the woman when she shows up to his office to conduct interviews for her magazine. Both of them are instantly attracted to each other, and though he was determined to use the interview to shed a new and more favorable light in the clubs, his attraction to her has him distracted and loose lipped.
The book was ok, it was a super quick read, but I couldn't connect to either of the main characters. Peter just seemed like a jerk and I really couldn't understand Penny's attraction to him other than her professed desire to "hate f^*k" him in order to get some closure from there experience with each other in college. And the way they reconcile their past was rushed a superficial at best. Although the book can be read perfectly fin as a stand alone, perhaps I would've enjoyed it more had I read the first 2 books in the Club V series first. I give Uncovered 2 out of 5 wine glasses.
Pete is one of the founding owners of Club V. It was all his original idea but know pressure is being put on the club. Rumors of their virgin auctions are spreading and Pete needs to damage control. He has agreed to do a series of interviews with a journalist hoping to hide the rumors and attract new customer. Then the journalist arrives and she is very sexy and a little familiar. Pete decides that he has to have her and he will give her the full Club V experience. Penny is a reporter at a tabloid magazine and she is given the job to find out everything that is going on at Club V. She is set up to appear as a writer for another magazine. She is uncomfortable interviewing Pete since she has a bad history with him. In college, she had a massive crush on him and he asked her out on a date. After the date things got pretty hot and heavy and then Pete left her high and dry. She is going to enjoy taking down Pete. However when she sees him again, he is sexier than ever and he is definitely interested in her. She is tempted to have hate sex to help get him out of her system. help get him out of her system. This is a hot book with some twists and turns. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
I enjoyed this story. It fits in with the other Club V books in the series though it is a stand alone read. Penny and Pete met back in college but didn't know each other very well though they both liked the other. Penny was the nerdy, ugly duckling at the time and Pete was the superstar jock. Things ended up going very bad after their one date. Penny is now getting a chance to interview Pete about Club V and possibly take him down. She is still very upset over what happened but she is no longer the ugly duckling. Pete doesn't recognize her but they are both still drawn to the other. The sexual tension is high and Pete uses this and his surroundings to help him get Penny. This story is explicit but not overdone. I had a bit of a harder time connecting to the characters because I didn't know what had happened so long ago and what Penny was holding onto. I wish that the disclosure had happened earlier, even if it was just Penny's version of things but I was still able to enjoy the book. I was entertained while reading it and it was a quick read for me. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Another fantastic read by Gisele St Claire. This series is hot and steamy in all the right ways. I love this series and cannot wait to read more of her work. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Being one of the co-founders of Club V, and the only single one, Pete is worried about the Club and wants to make sure that it gets some good press to bring in different clientele. Unknowing to him, the wrong paper has picked up the article he's approving and has sent a blast from the past to do the story. Only, he doesn't remember her and she's out for vengeance. Penny has been assigned the story that could change her career, the only problem is that it means working with the man who humiliated her in college. She's changed a lot since then, but he's sure to recognize her. Penny gets caught up with Pete and falls for him, but then the secret of the auction is revealed and she's devastated again. Pete takes her to an auction to show her the truth behind it, and apologized for what happened while in college, but will Penny forgive him, or expose what she believes is the truth? Must read to find out.
Headline: I have voluntarily read and reviewed and ARC version of Uncover by Gisele St. Claire… And now I have GOT to find the others and read them immediately! This book was HOT-af! I’ll be completely honest with you, I HATED Pete’s guts in the beginning but warmed up to him by the end. Penny was amazing. The way she was able to change herself for the better and then come back and face her biggest shame and turn it into something anyone could be proud of is as I said amazing. This is the first book I have ever read by Gisele St. Claire and the 3rd book of the Club V series. SO I can tell you that I have already added the first 2 of the Club V series to my “to-be-read” list and will be looking through her published works later tonight to see what else I can lose myself in. My only complaint is…I want more. What can I say? I am greedy and I wand an Epilogue AND and extended Epilogue. Can’t wait for the next book of the series to come out. I will be one of the first to read it for sure. Highly recommend. Happy Reading!
I just love this Club V series. They are well written, super steamy and have interesting plots. This one had an especially great revenge plot along with the Club V men introducing an inexperienced outsider woman to the world of Club V.
Humiliated by Pete in college, Penny has never forgotten how awful that felt. It ruined her college career and left her feeling ugly and unwanted. Now, she has a chance to turn the tables on Pete and expose his sex club’s dirty little secrets.
Crushes are just as hard to forget as humiliation though and Penny had it bad for Pete. When she’s faced with him, now older, gorgeous, wealthy and a very smooth talker, will she be able to stay angry or will her body overrule her brain?
Crazy chemistry between Pete and Penny. Super steamy, graphic sexy times with both the h/H and within the club. Great, quick steamy romance read.
No cheating. No cliffhanger. HEA. Standalone within a series.
This is the first book I have read from Gisele St Claire and was not disappointed at all. Very hot read and to the point. Very easy to follow with none of the boring dialogue. Uncover follows the story of reporter Penny and club owner Pete. Penny is trying to uncover the secret dealings within the club while holding a personal vendetta from the past at the same time. What happens when everything you thought was not quite how it seems? Definitely recommend for a good read with a cocky alpha, a very determined and equally strong female and some steamy sex. Would have wanted more from the ending personally. I'm a nosey reader. Story has HEA, but would have wanted to know how things ended with them. Did she end up getting pregnant? Did Penny become a member of the club? Really did enjoy the dual POV.
Interesting little short story. Penny is a journalist who is ready to write an Expose on Club V. Not only is she interested in exposing the club, but also publishing one of the club founders for an incident that happened years ago when they were in college.
Turns out that they both have grown and changed and there is an immediate attraction. The sparks fly when she realizes that he isn’t being honest with her….again.
I really enjoyed this short story and can’t wait to catch up with the other books in the series! I really liked Pete and Penny! I would have liked to see more development in the end of the story.
Hero 5 stars / Heroine 5 stars / Steam 5 stars / Plot 5 stars / Overall 5 Stars Keys: Dual POV, MF, Part of a series, Short Story #MSBB - I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This is the third book in the Club V series. Penny is an up and coming reporter who has been recruited to get a story on Club V. She is set to interview one of the three owners, Pete Wilson, who humiliated her in college. Penny has had a physical transformation and Pete doesn't recognize her. They are drawn to each other, despite Penny just wanting to get over him and move on with her life. Will they be able to overcome their shared past and be together? Will the club's secrets be revealed, calling attention to the authorities? As with the other two Club V books, this is a short read but the story has all the elements required for you to feel fulfilled when you're finished. While you don't have to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one, it certainly adds to the experience.
I received this book as an ARC and have voluntarily reviewed it.
Who hasn't wanted a little revenge? Payback? That is exactly what Penny wants after she is landed a job to interview club owner Pete. Several years ago he humiliated her and now it her turn to expose the truth about his club and make her want him. However, things don't go as plan. Pete is such a strong alpha male. He knows what he wants and makes it happen. Running the clubs are his life along with his friends. Then walks in journalist Penny. He is immediately smitten with her. These two embark on a little flirtation. Both wanting the other and both holding onto secrets. When the truth is exposed the both handle it pretty well. I really enjoyed the story. Well written with amazingly clever characters .
This is the first book I've read in the Club V series but it worked absolutely fine as a standalone. It was a fun quick read and would make a perfect holiday book. It has intrigue, sex and a hot male in Pete though he is a tad obnoxious at the same time! Penny is the ulgy duckling turned into a swan hell bent on Karma. What let it down for me was the ending, it just seemed to peter out and I wasn't convinced by what happened. That seemed a shame as I was enjoying it up to that point as a light read. Hence why I feel I can only give it three stars though if I had the option I would give it three and a half stars! However I'm quite keen to check out the first book in the series to see how it compares so that's positive
I am LOVING this series. Yes, this is a standalone but having read all of them so far, I would highly recommend reading the previous two - Unravel and Undone. This will help you understand some of what Penny is going 'undercover' to investigate the virgin auctions at Club V.
Pete is a sexy, dominant and very naughty while Penny is the 'ugly duckling' that has become a sassy, attractive and wilful woman who is hell-bent on proving to the college boy who left her battered that she is much more than he can handle! These two collide in an explosively sexy battle of wills that sweeps you up in Gisele St Claire's fast-paced story and keep you hot under the collar and hoping for more from Club V.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book
The timeline of this Novel is very short but it still feels realistic because the two main characters have unfinished problems between them from their past. I like the story because it could take place everywhere. It is very well written and you can feel the characters problems and thought as well as their emotions. The story has got it all - erotic, laughs, dark thoughts, emotions, steamy hot scenes. But still it is readable an has a good storyline. The series are so good and I like that they characters are connected. Would have loved that we got to know more about how it all continues with their relationship.
While in college, Penny was betrayed causing her to make changes about herself. Pete Wilson has one major regret, taking a bet in high school. Soon the two learn that the past doesn't stay in the past and it molds you into what you become. Will Penny be able to forgive Pete? Will Pete prove that what Penny thinks is true, isnt?
Loved the third book in the Club V series! Loved how Penny and Pete have a past together and while it was short, shows why they are the way they are. Both grew and were able to help each other overcome their past. Definitely a hot read and cannot wait for more from this author!

Investigative Journalist takes in Sex Club..Talk about a REVENGE OPPORTUNITY!
Quick HOT Read! Penny; an investigative reporter; undercover assignment is Investigate and Expose Club V (exclusive sex club). The icing on the cake is she'll be able to get revenge on Pete Wilson. Pete is the guy she Crushed in at college. He humiliated her after the one date they had. I really enjoy the dual point of view. I really get to know both Pete and Penny. What they both thought and felt. The alternating pov works really well in Gisele's books. I highly recommend this book. I kept reading. The storyline flowed so nicely. I wish there were more Pete Wilson's out there!
Gisele St. Claire definitely has a way with storytelling. Absolutely LOVED the cover on this one. After the way Pete humiliated her in college ten years earlier, Penny is ready to get her revenge on Pete and expose him for the douchebag he is. When Pete feels that he knows Penny from somewhere, will she inform him of how they know each other? The characters are fairly well developed, but Penny could have had a little bit stronger backbone. I truly enjoyed all three books in this series!

Penny gets the opportunity of a lifetime and finally a chance to get back at Pete, the very guy who broke her heart in college. Pete lines up an interview series to bring out the good qualities of his gentlemen's club. He doesn't recognize Penny when she walks in the door, so she is up to having some fun with him and bringing him down. After the second interview and when she learns the clubs secrets, she confronts him and his lies. Soon he learns the truth about her, and she learns that she true love is the only truth to have. This was a wonderfully written book with so much sexiness and love. I voluntarily read an Advanced Review Copy of this book.
A blazing hot short story of revenge. Penny and Pete share a past. A past that he doesn't recall because of her drastic transformation. Penny remembers though and going undercover to get the dirt on Pete's club is the perfect way to make him pay. Things don't always go as planned though when feelings and hearts are involved. Good writing, an interesting plot, a whole lot of chemistry between the characters and scorching sex make Gisele St. Claire' Uncover a great read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Penny new Pete Wilson in College he seduced her and then humiliated her she found out she will be interviewing the man himself he owns a club that is a bdsm and they have auctions selling virgin slaves and some unwilling in that sale so she is going to prove that it is happening and bring him down oh boy but things go wrong and she falls for him again but this time it forever king of thing lol I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and it was hot and sexy hot fast past could not put it down oh yeah loved every minute of it Michelle

Do you seek revenge, or do you give in to your desires? Penny is a journalist who is given an undercover assignment which brings her face to face with Pete, who humiliated her in college. I thought this was a well-written story about a different kind of second chance. The twists and turns in this book kept me riveted to the book. I enjoyed their story and the layers of different things going on, Pete trying to protect the club, Penny trying to get the scoop, Pete and Penny. This was another awesome read by Ms. St. Claire.
