Well I wasn't sure what to expect with a dedication like this: ☟

❥ Noah is a billionaire who falls in love with a ballet dancer at first site, then makes it his personal mission to get her for himself.
❥ Aurora only wants to be loved and to get a little attention, her mother has never given her what she needs just demanded greatness in her dancing. Her mother has her on a very strict schedule and diet, even going so far as putting locks on the fridge and cupboards. Let's just say she is a: ☟☟☟
❥ Aurora's mother has arranged for her to spend a year at a private dance studio in Germany. Karma's a bitch though and I'm sure she would of been fuming if she knew what was really going on.
❥ I was pleased to see that 'Devotion' had more of a story line than other books by AR, it made it a much more enjoyable read for me. It was written in true AR fashion with its instalove, super OTT alpha hero, super sweet and a little dirty. If you are looking for a quick sweet smut read this one will give you what you are looking for.

Everyone knows that you are going to get safe, sexy and OTT with this duo- which is why when a book is added to Goodreads, you see a string of posts adding it to people's TBR. They've earned my trust and that goes a long way with me.

Alexa Riley does OTT like no other!!
Noah- he sees Aurora and tries to "woo" her. When her mom interferes and keeps her from him, he does what every other alpha billionaire does and kidnaps her and takes her to his private island. This man is obsessed.
Aurora- she doesn't even know she has been kidnapped. My girl is naive. She has been treated horribly her whole life, being used by her mom. I felt for her. She can't help herself when the handsome, sexy alpha billionaire shows her the attention she has craved all her life.

Excuse me.. But how stupid can this heroine be? She gets into a limo sees a guy there on the seat and instead of trying to get away she's asking the guy who is he? Really?? I would be screaming my head off. And he also drugs her?
Is that supposed to be romantic?
AR what are you trying to do here? Because I don't find anything romantic kidnapping a woman or child and drugging her.
Later she wakes up and heroine is not even bothered that she was kidnapped and drugged..

I do love Alexa Riley books, I always know what to expect and sometimes a short hot read with a guaranteed controlling alpha and the innocent young woman he sets his sights on is just what I want.
Aurora's entire life revolves around ballet although it's not entirely by choice. While she loves to dance she's pushed and controlled by her bitch of a mother (a woman without a single redeeming feature) to the extent there's even a lock on the fridge door. Aurora has spent her whole life being told she's not good enough, she's never done the things normal girls do all she's ever done is dance and try to please her mother, a woman who's impossible to please.
Noah takes one look at Aurora and knows she's his, or she will be. We discover Noah has a bit of an obsessive personality, okay 'a bit' doesn't even come close not only does he drug and kidnap Aurora but he's built a huge new dance studio for her in the space of a few weeks.
This one wasn't my favourite and at times it sailed close to being uncomfortable but overall I still enjoyed it.
I can't close my review without mentioning the book cover.
Generally Alexa's covers are outstanding the 'Princess' ones in particular where so beautiful but having read this book I just don't feel the cover is right.
Aurora has been half starved her whole life, she's skinny with a small chest and she radiates innocence that's not the impression I got from the cover

It has been a longgg time without Alexa Riley's dirtiness. No kidding. I feel disconnect with some of their previous works. Either from the main characters or the story or the sex. However, I'm really grateful to received this ARC but something happened in real life and I forgot to read it. Anyway, I'm so in love with the cover but the story was so mediocre.
The typical AR's heroine. An innocent virgin girl who naive enough not to realize she has been kidnapped. Aurora Adams is a successful dancer lives with her only mother. Her dictatorship controlled Aurora's life. She has no freedom over herself.
It only takes one look for Noah Hill to decided that Aurora will be his forever. Thankfully, he is a handsome and super rich man. Otherwise, Aurora will scream run down the hills. But, Alexa Riley wouldn't do that. Noah kidnapped Aurora in hope she will love him. No, he's very positive about that. Kinda remind me of Beauty and The Beast but the modern OTT version.
Let's just enjoy this non-sense love story that I hardly found any chemistry. Noah was too busy to horny around sweet Aurora. He's constantly shower his affection while being a caveman. Anyway, Noah became her savior. HEA is unquestionable. However, the sex was okay with Noah's dirty mouth. Overall, I'm not really impressed with this but it feels a bit closer with the old AR.

Here's the breakdown: Aurora's sheltered lifestyle is lonely and sad. She's trapped in a cage and filled with despair. The moment know Noah sees her, he know he has to have her. But will she escape one cage only to be locked in another?
What I loved: The main characters - Aurora's backstory is sad and a bit depressing. It made me root for these two lovers even more. Noah is my type of AR Hero! He's totally OTT devoted and a dirty talker to boot. Loved him!
The storyline. As I mentioned before, Aurora's story drew me in. I only wish there were a bit more background on Noah.
The steam factor and dirty talk are set to MAX!! Prepare yourselves!
Overall, this is another short, sexy, standout read from the Queens of this sub- genre. Recommended for fans of smutty novellas, possessive stalker heroes, and sweet sheltered heroines. 💋💋

This was a good novella!! It's about Aurora and Noah. Noah sees her for the first time at a dance performance, where she was the lead ballerina. He's obsessed at first glance and tries multiple ways to contact her, but her evil mom intervenes every single time.
Aurora's mom decides to send her to Germany to hone her ballet skills. Noah intercepts her move and whisks her away to his island off the coast of Germany to keep her for a year. He wants to breed her... and he does.
I enjoyed it! I'm excited to see what else AR has written.

Llevo varios años leyendo, por eso puedo decir que he leido muchos libros y algunos han sido muuuy extraños pero hacia bastante tiempo que no encontraba una historia como esta.
Inverosimil, superficial, fantasiosa y sin ningun sentido, no me gusto nada en absoluto, es la peor novela de Alexa Riley que he leido y eso que sus otras lecturas no es que sean nada del otro mundo pero este " relato " es absurdo de principio a fin, la trama, los personajes, sus acciones, todo era tan poco creible e irreal que no pude mas que rodar los ojos una y otra vez.

I will NEVER get enough of Alexa Riley's brand of romance! I crave it all the time! They are bringing all of the dirty talk, insta-love, possessive, alpha-male greatness up a level with the release of DEVOTION. Aurora and Noah were just combustible together! I've been waiting a long time for a new AR story... and finally, it landed in my Kindle, one thing for sure is that it worth the waiting!!!
This book's like the best dessert in a high-class restaurant with all the great ingredients and the perfect presentation, that's totally going for the fantastic cover but what can I truly say about the plot and the characters? Let's see Unique, Steamy, Sensual... the authors did an amazing job and really outdone themselves.
Aurora is a different sweet heroine with a hidden power unable to expressing herself because of her mean mother all of her life she tries her best to satisfy her without a result until (!) Noah comes in her life like a Dark mysterious knight and saves her without her knowledge bringing her power and her passion outwards.
Super hot scenes, fast paced plot, enjoyable, teasing, steamy dialogues and wonderful characters with all the AR ingredients. What's more to ask?? Definitely, recommend it and I'm looking forward to reading the next great story AR will create!

Noah is being forced to attend a performance of ballerina's because he is trying to close a deal and his wife' client wants to see the show. Noah settles in to drink him self away while they enjoy the show but when he sees Aurora on the stage everything chances. Noah must have her and not for a short time. When all his efforts to meet her are blocked by her mother what's a man supposed to do? He kidnaps her and plans to make her fall in love with him.

Aurora has a controlling mom who keep track of everything Aurora does and eat. Aurora loves to dance and is doing very good a ballerina....but even that her mother controls. Her mother keeps her training constantly and practically starving her. When her mother signs her up for a year in Germany to be instructed at a dance type school, Aurora thinks she might get a breather from her mother.
Noah is being forced to attend a performance of ballerina's because he is trying to close a deal and his wife' client wants to see the show. Noah settles in to drink him self away while they enjoy the show but when he sees Aurora on the stage everything chances. Noah must have her and not for a short time. It was a long time without Alexa Riley and I really missed her. But this story is more like 3.5 stars. Everything was great, traditional heroes from Alexa Riley, but again the same thing. So I was enjoyed it, but it gets a little too trivial.
Aurora Adams is a ballet dancer and in order to please and gain acceptance of her mother she leads a lonely and miserable life. A billionaire, Noah Hill sees her on stage and wants to meet her, but her mother gets in the way. He must find another way to have her, whether it takes.
Obsessive, alpha hero, and naive, virgin girl. It is dirty and hot with some sweet moments. I liked that it has some more plot but it's still instalove. I also liked his dirty mouth a lot, there are some really bawdy texts. She wants his attention and he gives it to her in the best and most pleasant way possible.
Read this if you want something dirty and short.

Now I know when I enter an Alexa Riley book- I'm gonna get a man who's obsessive.....a real alpha- but this guy is just too much!!
He drugs his.....well I'm gonna call her a victim, kidnaps her, smuggles her of to a remote island.....and just acts in a rather creepy way!!
But you know- he loves her.....so that kinda excuses his behaviour?
I'm beginning to think Alexa Riley have lost their momentum- what used to be a fun read from them is no longer- and now we're just borderline psychopath

3⭐️ This book gave me everything i was looking for if i’m being honest. Fast, spicy, and so over-the-top it should be concerning. But let’s all be honest here if you read alexa riley you aren’t reading for amazing deep literature okay? I mean for fucks sake the book is 100 pages. If i wanted something realistic i would pick up a non-fiction.

Obsessed, possessive over the top hero, virgin ballet dancer heroine, super steamy love scenes and a heartwarming epilogue! Alexa Riley once again delivers a flawless short but sweet and oh so dirty love story!

Perhaps not my favourite by this author. This one has all the traits of this author's book's but was missing a bit more interaction between both character's stories for me
