Lexi Whitlow is a small-town girl with big dreams. She spent her early years growing up between Virginia and North Carolina, playing in the dark rich dirt of Eastern North Carolina at her granddaddy's farm. She's a Southern as can be, and she spends her days chasing her five-year-old and her puggle (that's a pug-beagle hybrid, folks) and writing her ass off.

She holds a master's degree in English literature, and her mom is so proud she's "using her degree."

Lexi harbors a not-so-secret love for bad boys. She loves fighters, tough-as-nails cowboys, bikers, and criminals. Her husband is a scientist... but he has the heart of a bad boy for sure. She spends what little free time she has crocheting, painting, and going on long walks with her family.

This was recommended to me because I love to read about arranged marriage and that sort of things. The blurb really spoke to me so I was intrigued enough to buy and read this one! It was a 23 chapters book and I was kind of glad because it was good, but it wasn't like woow this in unique. I know, I know how can arranged marriage still be unique?! It still can every story has it's different angle and twist. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others, because you never know maybe this is a 5star book for you.

It was a whole lot steam and a side of pretty big drama. I felt with the book because I instantly hated Martha within learning about her in a minute. I really rooted for Skye and Liam and Brie to make it!

Bad Boy’s Fake Wedding is a standalone and not one to be missed! I loved it from start to finish and didn’t want it to end. Liam is bad boy turned good and very swoon worthy!

Liam hasn’t had an easy few years but has never given up and does all he can to become the father he needs to be so he can get his daughter back. His mother-in-law has tried to trip him up every step of the way but Liam is determined that she won’t win and keep his daughter. After swapping one addiction for another and using woman as a way to escape from reality for a short while, Liam stops sleeping around and sets all his focus on the upcoming custody hearing. When temptation almost becomes too much, Liam’s brother makes a crazy suggestion that Liam finds himself a temporary girlfriend who will assist with his needs but also make Liam look more stable to the courts. This is when Syke enters Liam’s life and neither of them know what’s coming.

Having spent 6 years with the man she expected to marry, Skye is left as a 23 year old virgin who is on the lookout to rectify that issue but doesn’t want to get serious with a guy. Liam seems like the ideal option, especially when he offers her a short term deal that benefits them both; she gets as many mind blowing experiences as she wants and he gets the temporary girlfriend he needs to help with his custody case. However, when confronted about their relationship, Liam comes up with an even bigger plan and announces he and Skye are getting married. Will the plan work though when Liam’s mother-in-law uses everything she’s got to fight dirty and ensure she wins the prize!

In my opinion, Liam and Skye make the perfect couple and bring the best out in each other. Skye calms Liam in a way nobody else has ever done and Liam helps Skye let go and enjoy life. Liam’s life was always about enjoying himself and letting go but Skye’s life was always about control and planning. I enjoyed seeing each of them grow and discover things they didn’t know about themselves. The prologue was amazing and I couldn’t wait to read the main story, which caused me to experience so many emotions and made me want to jump into the story to defend Liam when his mother-in-law was being her usual poisonous self. Lexi Whitlow made the custody/legal scenes so realistic and I felt so much heartache when reading about Liam’s daughter’s experiences with her grandmother. Lexi Whitlow has created a love story that I won’t forget and I will definitely be reading her other books.

I have read pretty much all of Lexi Whitlow’s books. I just love her work. Every book I have read of hers has truly ben amazing. I actually felt this one was very heart felt. When reading this book you will fall in love with Liam and Skye. Your heart will break for what Liam is going through and your heart will warm on Skye’s compassion for the situation.

As reading about Liam it was truly heartbreaking to me what he went through. He lost the mother of his child due to drugs and then he lost his child after going to prison. Now a horrible woman has his child. I truly hated Marta who was the one that had custody of Liam’s daughter.

Skye was innocent in every way. I truly loved her character. She had so much compassion, want, and desire. She had a bad girl dying to come out. I loved how she was perfect for Liam. Liam might of thought he did not want a relationship but Skye to me was just what he needs. She is his calm in the storm.

I truly loved getting some insight on Liam’s daughter Brie. I always love when a child is brought into the story. I only wished we would of got to see more of her. I loved that this was about a single father who was struggling. Liam had one focus and that was to get custody of his daughter. To be the father she needed. This is not all Liam needs but he will learn that in due time.

I can only imagine what was going through Skye’s mind when Liam wanted to use her as a pretend girlfriend. Oh, trust me it gets better. It is not called Fake Wedding for nothing. Yeah, Skye probably has bitten off more then she can chew. Hearts are on the line. The question is can Liam and Skye get through this with out a brokenhearted?

The struggle that Liam went though to get his daughter back was heartbreaking. Marta will stop at nothing to destroy him. Marta has no love or compassion. She is money hunger and enjoys seeing Liam and Brie hurting. I loved how smart Brie was and how she did not care to let her father know what was going on with her.

As reading this book I have to wonder if we will see a future book of Finn and Rhiannon, that could be an interesting story. I do love that the author included a deleted scene at the end of the book. I personally loved the deleted scene.

This was a great story and glad I got a chain to read the book.

Ok, the title kinda says it all and if you enjoy this trope then this book is definitely one you will love. ‘Bad Boy’s Fake Wedding’ by Lexi Whitlow is exactly what it says, a bad boy turned good and needs a wife to help him out so instead of spending looking for the real thing which he thinks won’t happen he chooses to opt for a fake bride. Regardless of what I’ve said and what this book is called it is a great 4 star read.

Lexi Whitlow manages to make this an interesting and entertaining read with great characters and great writing. This book tells the story of reformed bad boy Liam who in order to get his daughter back he will do anything to make that happen. So when the idea is formed to have a wife that will give the appearance of a stable relationship and good family environment that is exactly what he sets out to find. However, he doesn’t need to go far to find the perfect girl to be his wife.

Skye has no idea what she sets in motion by walking into Liam’s bar and that she might just have found the perfect guy to help with her situation too. This friends with benefits story just might turn into something much deeper.

Both main characters were really likeable and relatable which made it much easier to read and enjoy. The chemistry between the two of them was blatant from the start and has you wanting so much more for both of them. The struggle that Liam has to go through to try and get his daughter back has you emotionally engaging with his character and feeling so much for his situation.

I happily recommend this book and will be looking out for what Lexi Whitlow has in store for us next.

I love redemption stories. You know, guy (it's almost always a guy) goes off the rails, does a bunch of stupid things, vows to never get involved, etc. And then the right woman comes along....and you've got a lovely fairy tale.

Liam is an ex-con, ex-drug addict who lost custody of his daughter when he went to jail, to his late wife's mother. He's desperate to get her back, for many reasons, not least of which is that Gramma isn't exactly the nicest person in the world. To put it mildly.

He's been told that the best way to regain custody is to clean up his act - different woman every night - and prove that he can provide a stable environment for his five year old. His solution? Find a respectable looking woman and talk her into a pretend relationship until after the custody hearing, and then they can both go back to their regularly scheduled lives. And who should walk into his bar, but Skye, a genuine good girl. Twenty-three and still a virgin.

Now, I could spend a great deal of time poking holes in this completely implausible plot, but I won't. You know why? Because it was a well written romp. I bought most of the motivations, the characters, the screw-ups. I wanted it to work. Both the story and the story, if you know what I mean. And it did. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Liam is a single dad whose child Bree is living with her grandmother. Liam owes a bar with his brother Finn and he lives above the bar. Liam has somewhat the reputation as a manwhore he had almost every girl that came into the bar.

Two women come into the bar that he hadn't seen before and his brother told him to stay away from them they are out of his league. The redhead's name was Rihanna and the other girl he had no idea
who she was at all but she looked so out of place.

Liam couldn't stop looking at her needless to say the two got together but not like you think. Skye was a virgin who wanted to lose her virginity. Liam saw how he could capitalize on this he could help her lose her virginity but she would have to do something for him in return.

Liam and Skye have a fake wedding so he could look good in front of the Judge. Marta, Liam old mother in law is a nasty horrible person and she will do anything to prevent Liam from having his daughter.

Twists & Turns in this book keep you on your toes.

I loved Liam and Skye in Lexi Whitlow's latest hook. Liam is the definition of bad boy, but when he decides to seriously fight to get his daughter back, after an idea from his brother that Liam says he made better, he pulls out all the stops. Enter Skye through the doors of his bar and he has found the perfect woman to help him, if she doesn't run away first and in return he gaurentees to rock her world and take care of her virgin situation. Skye's friend convinced her she needed a walk on the bad boy side and ended up with more than she bargained for in Liam. A fake relationship to help him get his daughter back turns very real for them both, when they have the courage to admit it. Add in a boisterous Irish family, a mother-in-law who is so mean and an adorable little girl and they add so many layers to this story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This was a great story and I loved it. Beautifully written with a great storyline and adorable characters. Skye and Liam were so likeable. Liam is trying to turn his life around. He spent six months in jail but is out now and owns a bar in Manhattan with his brother. He wants to get custody of his little girl from his ex-mother in law but the court frowns on his life style. In an effort to clean up his image, he thinks a fake bride will appease the judge. Skye's a virgin and the perfect choice. Neither wants anything more than a friends with benefits situation. Humm... amazing how chemistry works and theirs is explosive. The book is a must read - no spoiler here but you will love this book. I received an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

This is the story of a reformed bad boy Liam who needs to get his daughter back and really will do anything to make it happen. When he is given the idea to take a wife to give him the stable relationship and good family environment appearance that he needs to win , he doesn't need to wait long. Skye goes into Liam’s bar with one thing in mind and that is she might just find the perfect guy to help with her situation. The characters are really great and the chemistry between the two of them was obvious from the start and it has you wanting it to work out for both of them. The struggle that Liam has to go through to try and get his daughter back has you totally on his side too. Such a great read.

In my opinion this is a great read. Liam is a complete and udder douchebag, but he owns it he never denies it. Skye is hard working, smart and very conservative. She is to good hearted to say no to Liam's offer. Yet Liam being the douchebag he is, he never admits to the full plan. He just does things and keeps them a secret. Lexi Whitlow did a good job of writing about a father that loves his daughter and would do anything to get her back. She wrote with humor (head shaking humor) the more I got to know Liam the more I laughed at his shenanigans. As things progressed I found my self rooting for Skye and Liam. Lexi Whitlow wrote hot and filthy sex. Overall I enjoyed this story. I read it on Kindle Unlimited.

This is a dramatic and entertaining story. The storyline is captivating, both sad and sweet. Liam is self destructive, full of heartache and desperate. Skye is shy, kind and caring. They are immediately drawn to each other and Liam convinces Skye to help him get custody of his daughter, but the more time that they spend together, the more each realizes that they are falling in love. They form a bond that gets stronger the more people push against it. It's a thoroughly satisfying love story.

She sees a change to finally get a night with a man who shows her how it is done in the bedroom.
But he wants something in return when he finds out she is a virgin, a fake marriage.

She is a strong woman, but can't resist Liam and she can't resists going with what he says even without checking with her first.
So they go for a fake marriage and while he is teaching her all kind of things in and around the bedroom, they fall deeper and deeper for each other.

But will it be enough to get his daughter back and to stay together as a family?
For that you will have to read the book, you won't regret it.

Liam Daugherty is desperately trying to get his daughter back from his ex-mother-in-law who is a monster. He needs a stable home and wife to convince the judge that he has changed from the previous screw up that he was. He comes up with a plan to obtain a fake wife to try to fool the court system that he is able and willing to care for his young daughter. Little does he know that fate has a different plan for him than fake anything?

This is my first read by this author and I did enjoy the story. It was well written, the dialogue flowed smoothly and there was plenty of heat in this story.

4 Bad Boy Stars

Liam Dougherty wants his daughter back, and the virginal beauty who just stepped into his bar has his mind reeling with crazy ideas.
Skye Williams needs her V card punched, and she knows exactly how she wants it done. Get in, get it over and done with with a one night stand, and the bad boy bar man and his huge reputation are just the thing.

A mutually beneficial agreement is reached, then it's moving day, wedding day and court day. Loved our bad boy MC, Liam is actually a complete sweetheart who's hot AF in bed but not so great with romance.

I like bad boys that have a heart of gold. Liam and Skye get together to give him a chance to get custody of his daughter. He needs a good girl. It turns out she needs a baby boy in her life to add some fun.

I really liked both characters. They have great chemistry and are a great mix. I loved how he seduces Skye but always treats her with respect too. He is a good guy who made mistakes but has his priorities right.

Another great story! Liam is a bad boy who needs to straighten up his act of he wants custody of his daughter back. His older brother joked about faking a stable relationship to look good in court when Skye walks into their bar... She fits the bill.
It's a rush of sneakness intermixed with soft-heartedness that keeps this story moving. Again lovable imperfect characters that keep you reading wanting to know what happens next.

I enjoyed reading this book. Liam's main focus is getting full custody of us daughter Brie. He believes his only chance is to show he's in a committed relationship. In walks Skye. Although it starts as a fake relationship, feelings begin to develop on both sides. A sweet and steamy read that I'd recommend.

Really good

I really enjoyed this story. Liam & Skye were so sweet and real. The dynamic with Brie was also very sweet and very realistic. A little girl who just wanted her daddy after so long away. That grandma howefer, was a real piece of work. Glad she got hers in the end. My only complaint is that I wish we would have gotten a little more back story on Skye.

I was a voluntary ARC reader for this book. LOVED IT!! Liam is hot, sexy, cocky, and loyal. What more do you need? The love scenes can get very steamy and had me reaching for a fan to cool off. The writing flows beautifully. I didn't feel like anything was left uncovered. The reason behind the fake wedding was a worthy cause in my book. Can't wait to read more by Lexi Whitlow.

Not my cup of romance

'Badboy' romances are one thing. One thing I guess all romance fans enjoy.
This one takes it to a whole nuther level with the woman-chasing, ex-con, drug-dealing jerk of an H.
I've read precious few pages of the thing before reaching my saturation point.
This may be exactly what you are looking for in 'romance'. It wasn't MY cup at all.
