Alex and Atropos have taken refuge at an abandoned mountain resort compound. Atropos is a wanted woman in hiding, and the downtime with her soul mate is a nice change of pace. But the peace will be short-lived. The authorities are after her for her role in the attack on the city of Charlotte. Zeus has put a bounty on her head. There's also a war to prepare for — and if she wins, the gods will be deposed once and for all. But first she needs to track down Gaia, and even that won't be simple. Gaia resides at the bottom of the ocean, and the humans and gods are already hot on Atropos' trail…

A heart-pounding romantic adventure where Greek mythology and modern-day life collide, Hunted Fate is the third book in the epic Threads of the Moirae series by Jennifer Derrick.

I became a writer at the age of six when my parents bought me a child’s typewriter for Christmas and agreed to pay me a penny per page for any stories I churned out.

When I got older, I realized that I needed to make (much) more money from my writing so I first turned to the corporate world (where I learned that I am spectacularly unsuited to cubicle life) and ultimately to freelancing where I now write everything from technical manuals to articles on personal finance and European-style board games.

My writing career came full circle when Clean Teen Publishing accepted Broken Fate, my first novel. By my calculations, my parents owe me about $3.00 for that book.

I live in North Carolina and, when not writing, can often be found reading anything I can get my hands on, playing board games, watching sports, camping, running marathons, and playing with my dog.

I have loved this series and I really enjoyed this book of the series as well, but like others have said, the ending really let the book down for me. I hope there will be another book as so much has been left unresolved and unanswered. Would have rated a 4.5 had the ending been better.

When's the next book? I must know. It can't end this way.

Great. Now when is the sequel coming?

I've read the previous two books of the series and was hooked! These gems really delve into the Greek myths of old, then weaves them into a modern tale. The protagonist's core strength is her empathy, which occasionally leaves to a deluge of tears, that being said it's in sharp contrast to many of the other creatures of myth who exist within that realm.

I only wish that this is not the last of the books. The story ends abruptly without a satisfying conclusion. The fact that the author has released a new series only worsens my fears that the wait may either be long or permanent.

Sophie (Atrophos) and Alex

Sophie continues to find allies to end the rule of Zeus and to return free will to humans.

Excellent plotting and charectorization.
