Yup. I gave this one 5 stars.
This book was surprisingly good. Yes, it was ridiculous and I think the fact that I expected that going into this was helpful, but what I was not expecting the romance to be so strong in both of the stories. Particularly in the second book, the hero was so freaking sweet and it was actually romantic – not something you’d expect from a reverse harem novel at all!
Beyond that – I love how each of the stories were seasonal. The first book felt like summer and the second had all the autumn vibes.
This book was surprisingly good. Ok so this is the first book or books that I have read by Jayne Rylon. There's no Mafia or MC story line but there is a construction crew and the only word I can come up with is "Greek Gods". In KATE’S CREW (MMMMMF) I love the tension and lust that built over time between Mike and Kate. But Kate has a secret desire and when she voiced it would Mike run or would he make it happen? You will have to read to find out. In MORGAN’S SURPRISE (MMMMF) Morgan tells her BFF how she feels about Joe, LOL he over heard her and OH how he fulfills her fantasies. These two books in this collection are Hot, Sexy, Wildly Provocative and Steamy. Powertools indeed. Each book is a short, fun read. I am going to have to read the full version of them next. I am looking forward to reading Kayla's Gift also.

I found this on my kindle and just finished Kate's Crews the first book and since I had it I would read the next.MORGAN’S SURPRISE we see Joe and man is he a sweetheart. This is still really short and OMG naughty with F/m/m/m/m play that gets messy. I just wondering if this author ever uses an actual bed. Hot

Powertools: Collection 1 by Jayne Rylon is actually 2 books. Both books are fairly short, so this would be a good choice for those with limited time for reading. These books are well-written, however, there are group sex scenes in both books, so they may not be for everyone. Kate's Crew is book 1 of the Powertools Series. This book is loaded with awesome characters, drama, humor and burning down the house sexy bits.

In book one, Kate has been fantasizing about the group of men renovating the house next door, and when one of the men from the crew, Mike, asks her out, she keeps refusing because she is hot for all of them. When she mentions to Mike about how she feels, Mike lets her know that he is more than okay with her fantasies.
In book two, Morgan is Kate's friend and has Mike's crew working to help get her cake shop up and running. Morgan finds all the men hot but has a definite interest in Joe, and the feeling is mutual. Joe takes Morgan on a date to remember.
Like I said, super HOT! Might have to check out the rest of the series.

Actual Story Not Included
Both books in the Powertools series are nothing more than three over the top sex scenes held together by a little interaction between the heroine & main hero. The author purposefully skips over the intimate, relationship building scenes in order to jump into another gang bang. The lack of character and plot development makes the Powertools collection a very unsatisfying read.

Very surprising but a steamy surprise
Extremely hot read. I'm sure I blushed while reading which is hard to do to me. I was surprised by the turn of events and loved the fact that while both, book 1 and book 2 had the same general idea, both books were different enough to keep me interested and not the same series of events in the same order with different character names as many other series tend to be. Well done, ready to add the next book to my collection.

This collection has two books in it, Kate's Crew, and Morgan's Surprise. Kate's Crew is about Kate and Mike falling for each other while Morgan's Surprise is about Morgan and Joe falling for each other. Both books are hot as heck with a ton of sexy time in both. There is group action too which is amazing. Powertools: Collection 1 is hot, hot, HOT!!

To call these novellas, is to be generous. They barely qualify for publishing. Zero plot, just smut on a page and not very good smut at that. Heavy reliance on the thesaurus for anatomical descriptors. Was a free download and easy to see why. Don't bother. I've read better unedited fanfic then this mess here.

Holy WOW that was HOT!! For short stories there was a good amount of detail packed in there. The stories felt complete when they ended, but with the possibility for them to continue, which I love. I definitely want to read the next story!

Holy sh*t! Perfect, steamy hot short story! The first story left me all hot and bothered! After this one, the Second story would be a four stars. It is good too, no doubt, but not as steamy as the first one. But I definitely want to read the other books!

Well hot damn that was a fantasy and a half. Great stories about a sexy, sensitive bunch of blokes and the 2 very lucky ladies that they entertain. I did choose to read another book in between the 2 books in this series just so that I could get the most out of the second book. Mighty hot.

Super spicy book. There were a couple spots throughout the book that seemed awkward trying to describe the what the characters were doing, but overall a good, fast read. Looking forward to reading what is next.

DNF for me. The plot felt weak and didn’t hold my interest. There’s heaps of explicit content, great if that’s what you’re after, but for me, it needs to be backed by a solid storyline. I enjoy steamy reads, but this one didn’t deliver the depth I was hoping for.
