I absolutely love this series and the latest chapter, Torn by Blood was no exception! I really enjoyed the boarding school setting that Kory now finds herself in with Rex as her mentor. It totally reminded me of Vampire Academy which is one of my favorite series ever. The sexual tension between Kory and Rex is nail bitingly intense. Can't these two just get back together already?! The author does an amazing job of keeping you at the edge of your seat in regards to their steamy and forbidden relationship. There was finally a huge revelation at the end and I cannot wait to see where their relationship will go from there. Couple that with all the twists and turns of her parents secret past, obsessed demons, and new and interesting characters this is a fantastic read that will have you turning the pages all night long. I'm so sad that the next book is the last but I can't wait to see how it all ends. So excited!

Torn In Blood is the fourth book in the Iron Series and it is so good—the whole series is in fact. It’s definitely one of my top favorites. I love Kory and her snarky, sassy, sarcastic-ness. Her character has had so much to deal with already and in this book things only get more complicated. She has to deal with the lingering effects of the darkness wanting to take root in her, how to define her relationship with Rex, along with her newfound relationships with a former enemy and two girls at her new school, all while trying to figure out who she is. With twist and turns, the mysteries surrounding her parents deepening, along with a new threat to pureblood ferrums, plus, a huge jaw dropping moment…well, let’s just say I couldn’t put this book down. I cannot wait for book 5 to be released because with a revelation like that, I need to know what’s going to happen next! Do yourself a favor and read this book, you won’t regret it.

Ok, I think this one is frustrating because Kory keeps second-guessing herself, but at least Kory and Rex's relationship is a little more straightforward. God, I want to smack the both of them. But I LOVE how all the little clues are starting to come together! So many things I guessed at are coming out in the open! It's great! And Kory needs to get better at being paranoid if that she didn't think that the talk she heard from the closet wasn't about her. But I guess the paranoid who think they are batshit crazy don't see things like that.

Korwlein, Korey for short is in school to be a demon hunter. She already has 11kills under her belt but she was Almost turned into a demon. This has caused her to second guess herself. Rex (her mentor, teacher and almost boyfriend) knows she has lost confidence and sets out to help her get it back. I highly recommend this book.

Book 4 of this series brought an entirely different dynamic to the universe in a change of setting. I enjoyed the new characters that were introduced. I also started feeling kind of sorry for one of the main villains as more of his story was revealed. One book left, I can’t wait to see how it ends!

Must read

Can't wait for the 5th book. I love this story between Rex and Kory. It seems she's been 17 a long time and should have turned 18 already. I hope the next book has a little more romance. This is a must read series, you won't be disappointed.

Predictable

So the big twist at the end of the book? Saw that coming. This series is just so, so. It's not fantastic but it's not terrible. It's just something to read while I wait for a book I really want to read to be released.

I have to see what's next, it's a compulsion. I love all the characters even the bad ones. That's when you know you are in real trouble!

What's the connection to Kye? Now I kind hate Kory, she went from badass to a self destructing mess....I'm confused
