Caldwell Family #3

Trust Me With Your Love

Rate this book
Isaac Caldwell doesn’t trust emotions. Emotions made his brother abandon the company and guided his father’s lifelong need for revenge which is why he’s kept the unsettling feelings stirred by his administrative assistant, Kim Griffin, on permanent leave. But when he enlists Kim’s expertise with his plans to rebrand the company the feelings he mistrusts erupt into a passion that won’t be ignored. After hustling in the streets nearly cost her everything, Kim walked away from the danger and easy money to pursue a life of stability she always dreamed of. She won’t fall for a man she can’t trust with her secrets, and even though her head warns loving Isaac is foolish, her heart won’t listen. Soon their business partnership skyrockets into a personal relationship neither expected. Before they can trust if their newfound happiness is a good deal a debt from the past needs to be repaid, and the cost could destroy the business, their love, and their lives.

Wow! I really got caught up in all of this crazy drama! I hated that Kim, a beautiful, intelligent woman, allowed herself to be blackmailed by all of those low-life creeps she used to run with. Will Isaac be able to rescue her in time? Or better yet, after all of the deceit, will he even want to?

Good read

Good read, the storyline was good. I didn't care for Isaac, but since Kim loved him I'm glad she got her happy ending. I was thrilled Curtis got what he deserved. I recommend this book.

Good!

It took me a long minute to warm up to Isaac. While I eventually understood why he acted like he does, he still was hard for me to like. But when I got him, I loved him! I like I'm from the very beginning. I was proud of her for turning her life around and caring so much for her family, although I wanted to shake her a time or two and yell ' girl, put yourself first!' Grandma worked my last nerve, but the portrayal of a gambling addict was spot on. And don't even get me started on Curtis's evil a**. So glad he finally got his comeuppance. He definitely deserved it.

Another good read from Synithia Williams!

Intense!

Kim and Isaac's story was really intense. Kim's pass caused her to have certain expectations and requirements when it came to relationships. She's the oldest daughter of two and learned early about survival. Although those experiences made her the person she is today, she continues to have feelings of guilt and shame. Isaac is the youngest son of two. Due to the family dynamics, he has issues with trust love. Especially after watching his parents relationship. Through the course of his life, he has feelings of abandonment. These two broken people had an instant attraction. Because Kim stood her ground on her expectations, they chose not to act on the attraction. Of course relationships, working or otherwise, never remain the same when feelings are involved. Not only were they having the usual problems. Add in crazy family members. The family is why it's so intense. It's totally different from the first two books. The difference is why it's really good. Please add to your library. This maybe the best one. Now I'm waiting for Ryan's story..

“Trust Me With Your Love” is the third book to the Caldwell saga. Isaac is the brother that stay, who has had it beaten into him that love isn’t real. Yet he forms and instant attraction to his assistant Kim Griffin. Problem being she wants it all the husband, the baby, the white picket fences.

I rated this book a 3.5 because the story in a nutshell didn’t grab my attention. I wasn’t really invested in the couple in fact I found more interest in Isaac and his older brother slight issue then him and Kim. What I liked about Kim’s character was she was clear on what she wanted but at the same breath she goes against it for the hope of and I’m quoting Isaac “maybe you can teach me how to love”.

The 1st book is still my favorite.

Action packed

This book included a great story line filled with plenty of action. Isaac closed his heart to all feelings after dealing with his parents lives and what he felt was his brothers betrayal. Kim has a past that she is ashamed of. But they are the only people they trust. The most telling part about this story was the arc that dealt with Curtis. What kind of upbringing did he have to have no love for his children and feel that loyalty is obtained through fear?

Oh my goodness

Loved this book, Isaac and Kim what an awesome couple. Was good to catch up with the characters from book one and two. Curtis Caldwell was the worst of the worst, for a father he was so fill of hatred that he could not see straight. Kim's grandmother was funny. This book had human trafficking, attempted murder, prostitution, gambling, blackmail, and a HOT alpha male. Cannot wait for what this author has coming next.

Excellent read!

Mrs Williams did not disappoint with Isaac's story. Highly emotional, characters well developed and an excellent storyline. I especially liked the fact that Isaac was able to deal with the past and let it go ; while seeking to handle his father and reconcile with his brother. This story truly shows that you can , with effort, break the chains that bind you. Highly recommend the series!

Loved it!

It took him long enough. No one deserved a father like Curtis. He was an evil person with no respect for his family. I'm glad that Andre and Isaac wasn't tainted by their upbringing. Thank goodness for Kim, she stood behind Isaac throughout his determination to boot his father.

Book three

I would recommend reading all three books in order. But as a third book in the series I was disappointed that the book did not the the family up better in the end. Lots of info on feelings but needed more story.

Good Read

This book is my favorite of the series. In the book, Isaac and Kim learn to trust one another and weather the storm. I liked Isaac because he showed his vulnerable side which doesn't happen often in books. The story and their chemistry was great.

Page turner

This book Kemp me wanting to know what would happen next. Just enough romance mixed with a lot of drama. The end kept me guessing as the story unfolded.

I enjoyed the plot and I was extremely gratified with the conclusion. I hope there's one more book in order to see the aftermath of all that occurred.

The Caldwell's

The Caldwells have enough drama for a TV show! Isaac and Kim were perfect with their secrets and insecurities. The whole family needs intensive therapy! Thankfully love seems to work for them.......Curtis on the other hand has been the best villain!!! Good reading!!!!

3 Parts Harmony

The third story was nice, a bit long in some areas. I get it the Caldwell clan was a hot mess. Trust was a big issue for Isaac and Kim's past did not make things easier. His father Curtis was a big sleazeball... The romance took a while to come to fruition and at times and I needed them to cling more to one another more emotionally. Overall, a good read.
