No one escapes the wedding madness – not the kind hearted, the strong-willed, or even the level headed. When Reyna is asked to be the maid of honor for not just one, but both of her best friends at the same time, she realizes that even her relaxed temperament can be pushed to the absolute limit. But then she meets Ryan, the dashing pharmacist from down the street who brings some sanity back into her chaotic life. They flirt and date their way through the city of Austin until the wedding stress gets the best of Reyna, flipping her off her rocker where she lands in the arms of another man. Another failed relationship. But Ryan’s worth fighting for.
I really love this book don't get me wrong but at the same time this book was too long for me I kept on going in circles at times and it just was driving me bonkers. The author did a great job in creating not one not two but three story lines running at the same time.
The problem that I actually had with the book was that they all got jumbled up and at times I couldn't tell who was doing what who was talking when. Well the author did a great job anyways in making me see who was doing what it just went around the circle is way too much I'm sorry have to stress this but it did.
However if you're ever looking for a creepy mother and mother-in-law yeah definitely have this book to read.
The sex in this book well if you blink you'll miss it and maybe that's what the author was going for but I like detail and this book had a lot of detail just not in the right places for me. But I did give The book a round up in the rating.
There was a lot of non stop drama, not funny romantic comedy drama either. Lots of characters, but not any depth. Ryan made me very uncomfortable through most of the story, I didn't get any closure on why he is so OCD. As a reader we learned one small detail about his life in a past relashionship. Where are the father figures in this story? I gave it 3 generous stars for sucking me in and holding my attention, definitely not very 3 dimensional, character development was vague and all 3 relashionships seemed superficial. I didn't feel their love, it wasn't believable enough.
Bridezillas and one Mozilla planning the biggest wedding in the town and all the confusion and problems that cause for the poor maid of honor.
Lots of confusion, a new boyfriend, tons of stress in the maid of honor life. She thinks she is a nevermarry, when her two best friends both get proposed to on the same day.
I love the lighthearted book. Definitely humorous and fun. The relationships were interesting and interactions written well. What a fun group of people from the main characters down to the butler, Barnery or the bartender, Harry....and you will have to read to understand the humor there.
This is an entertaining and charmingly enjoyable book. It is more about friendship than romance. If friendships can endure the stress of putting together two weddings, a controlling mother and a budding romance then everything else that comes along will be a walk in the park.
