To show that we’re meanies
Big hats and sharp suits
And drive lamborghinis.”

It was Roger McGough’s eightieth birthday in November last year, hence the title of this collection of delights.
This is a warm & witty collection of poems, that just beg to be read aloud, complete with comical faces, hand gestures and funny voices. Children are sure to be charmed by these poems, and we slightly older readers (ahem) can also enjoy them, as they’re simply FUN, and take your mind off the seriousness of life for a while.
Cute pencil drawings by the Author are scattered throughout, which add to the charm.
