This was published in the mid-1970s, so a lot of the actresses discussed herein were still alive at the time. It also means that some essential film titles are missing; like Ingrid Bergman's 1978 masterpiece Höstsonaten (Autumn Sonata), directed by the Swedish director Ingmar Bergman.

I still find this book a real gem - a coffee table book with a good selection of photographs.
