I am not sure how this workbook address is musicianship, per se, however, the exercises seem endless and are fantastic. Save yourself a ton of work and use examples from the book to supplement whatever course you're teaching, be it music theory, sight singing, score reading, basic theory, rhythm etc. The explanations of what you're learning within the book are sufficient but I don't think I would recommend it to somebody trying to learn on their own. There are a ton of far more straightforward and enjoyable music theory books out there for the self-taught. The strongest element to the exercises in this book are that they're great for drills and for rote memorization.
