The HLV virus decimated ninety percent of the population and left more male survivors than female. Natalie joins Collier’s group at the armory with the understanding she will be open to sharing herself with some of the men. It isn’t long before she connects with four of them. Her new life can’t completely erase old securities, but she grows closer to Chris, Finn, Avi, and Lian as a new threat gets nearer to the inhabitants at the armory and Camp Utopia. Internal and external opponents threaten to rip her from her men and destroy everything her group has struggled to build, but they won’t surrender without a fight.
This reverse harem romance is the third in the Hell Virus series. It can be read as a standalone, but reading the series in order will enhance your understanding and enjoyment.
Aurelia Skye is the pen name Kit Tunstall uses when writing science fiction romance. It’s simply a way to separate the myriad types of stories she writes so readers know what to expect with each “author.”
I look forward to more, but this is my least favorite in this series. In all of them, I did find they ended abruptly. This one was much worse than the others. It felt unfinished. As far as we know, it left off with her and her four guys and a child all living in one room together and sleeping in a single bed together. Disturbing to say the least. Also, juggling 4 guys in the same bed wasted extremely awkward and not at all sexy. Even worse once they all went to sleep. One on each side, one at her head and one at her feet. So where exactly is the head and feet of the guys lying beside her? Are they also propping their feet and head on these two guys because they are a lot taller than her? Yeah, the whole thing was just not sexy and the foursome sex scene was beyond uncomfortable and would have been pretty unfulfilling for a couple of the guys. If you are going to get into a harem with more than two or three, then it needs to be done differently. Rotating guys on different nights. It's just impossible to make that many men feel like the center of your world every night all together. So while the story was okay, I just could not feel any sense of connection. It felt forced. Especially since this was infected with an unrealistic instances love for everyone. I oh buy instalove when it involves mates stories.
The third in a great series if books. I love how the characters from the first 2 books are in this book and intertwined in the story, it brings it all together even though each story is about a different character and her men
In this post apocalyptic state everyone is just trying to survive. While out on scavanger runs they keep getting caught up with the mililitarian supreemist group who want to destroy anyone they meet, stealing the women and taking what they can
Natalie and her friends face danger and a lot of drama in this book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to read more by these authors, I highly recommend the book and the series and even though they can be read as standalone they are better read in order
I have read all the books ing this series, and I love all of them. You don't have to read them in order to understand the story, but those in the other books do make an appearance in this one. The sex scenes are well written. The interactions between Natalie and her men are almost believable, some parts I don't feel would ever happen in real life. This is one series I am definitely going to be reading more of.
The world has changed after the HLV virus killed 90% of the population. Women are at shortage and civilization is breaking down. Natalie is a survivor of the virus who just left a FEMA camp to join a group at the armory. She is expected to hook up with men there and give companionship to men who have no one. Natalie is nervous but is willing to try. She will be the second woman at the armory and the only unattached one. At first she is overwhelmed by all the attention but some me stand out. She is attracted to four different men. Now she just needs to know will they be able to make it in a relationship or will bad feelings tear them apart. The armory people are also having problems with some militia men who want to control the area. There are gun battles and kidnappings and rescues. This book is both steamy and action packed. There is almost an instant love between the characters. This is the first book of the series I read and I definitely will go back and read the previous books. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book....... This was an amazing utopian reading experience. Natalie is new to Collier's camp on the condition that she'll be open to having a relationship with more than one man, and she knows exactly who she's attracted to. I liked her honesty when it came to telling her men about the others (even if they already knew who she was seeing). The writing was vividly detailed, and the characterization was excellent. I loved all four of her guys, Chris, Avi, Finn, and Lian. I also love the adoration and loyalty of Alyssa's men towards her. There was plenty of danger and excitement in the story along with lots of heat that definitely kept me captivated. This was a very impressive read centered around survival and love. :)
This story started ok but mid book switch to a war story where they were having constant gun fights & battles. I didn't feel any chemistry between this poly relationship and when she told Avi she love him I literally laughed out loud. I was so sick of the drama with Liam father and when the baby they rescued called Natalie " new moma " I was fed up. I lost interest and just skimmed through the remaining 4 chapters.
Still a quick read, but this series keeps getting better and better. I was glad to see Alyssa and crew back. Not sure how I felt about the ending. I certainly hope she continues the series though because there are so many loose ends.Natalie is a very strong woman. She finds her men, and a little something extra. I didn't really get into the sex in this one. The story line was good though. We see a little more of the scavenging.I recommend this book. Menage and dystopian, but no zombies.
