A love letter to talking shit about people YOU invited to speak at the seminar, Peter

Turning lectures into essays is clearly not as straightforward as transcription, but the book does a good job of distilling some great insight into the role of Science Fiction, particularly at a time before it became such a driving force of culture as it is today. The biggest difference was how embarrassed everyone seems to be about liking Science Fiction? Maybe we should bring a little of that back though…

It’s been 4 months since I finished this and I can recall next to nothing from any of the lectures which makes me think the 3 stars may be generous?
