Taking Her There

Rate this book
When Angeline Rowe is finally released after six months in court-ordered detox, finding paparazzi ready to pounce isn’t unusual, but she is surprised to see the familiar face of her old limo driver, and even more surprising is the fact that he’s as big a flirt as she, and sexy to boot.

*Previously published by Samhain Publishing*

Angeline’s manager had to beg starving artist Andre Salidas to come back to work for “Hurricane Angeline.” He figured the increased salary would be worth it, but the woman in the back seat has changed. She’s now a bit more fragile, a lot more intriguing.

Once home, Andre thinks maybe he has found his muse—until a cold blast from her past threatens to blow out any flame they’ve sparked.

Olivia's Goodreads account is pretty slim. Look for Alanna Coca's Account (http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/... see what she's reading. To keep Goodreads reader-oriented, Olivia does not leave ratings on books she's read, nor does she comment on reviews, but she appreciates each and every reader who invests time in her work.

Olivia Brynn is the very saucy alter ego of romance author Alanna Coca. Olivia was the one who lured Alanna into trouble as a child. She also would have been the one to get her mouth washed out with soap. Since controlling Olivia wasn't as easy as she thought, Alanna decided to set her alter ego free with Olivia's first book, For a Price, a story about one woman's journey to sell her virginity. Other books followed, earning five-star reviews and bestselling status. Alanna realized what fun Olivia had writing sexy romances without censor.

Olivia writes contemporary erotic romance near a window where the view of the Rocky Mountains beckons her to run naked through the tall foothill grasses. Except when it snows.

Taking Her There is a story about recovery. It delivers a sincere portrayal into the life of a celebrity after they hit rock bottom in a pretty public way and have to learn what it takes to find redemption.

After Angeline is released from a mandated six month stay in a rehab facility she has to take an honest look at herself and figure out what direction she goes from here. She never thought her chauffeur, Andre would have any place in life her outside her car, but she finds herself wanting him in her bed as well.

Andre has been Angeline’s driver for nine months and he has seen everything imaginable in the back of the limo. However, he is one of the few that really gets to see the real Angeline. He sees her bitchy façade as a way to hide the lonely woman she really is. He allows her to relax and give up all control when they are together. It’s a very different and very refreshing feeling for her.

This is a very short story. Read it for exactly what it is. Don’t expect a lot of depth and character development. It’s not meant to be that type of story. This book is a spicy, sexy story you can get through on a lunch hour or a few hours at the pool. It’s full of pushy reporters, witty sarcasm, hot sex, ex-lovers, and a beautiful romance full of passion and desire.
