This book is for you if… you're on holiday or just wanna kick back with a quick but heartwarming action romance to take you out of your daily life.

Overall.
This short book features a sweet and fast-paced story that made me want to finish it in one sitting, which obviously I didn't manage. Although the page count is very short, the romance still seemed legit.

I honestly think that this was one of my favourite couples within this series so far, I loved the chemistry between Willa and James. Plus the story was just so juicy! Willa, bless her heart, really did pull through. There was no screaming damsel in distress, even in the toughest of moments she really pulled through. Though, it was cute that she had James to swoop in and help her with all his badassery.

The build-up was great, with both Willa's and James banter being absolutely brilliant. To be honest, the whole story was brilliant, I didn't want it to end!

My only critique was the ending... more that it just ended a bit abruptly for me, I would have loved it just to have been rounded out a bit more. Though, I suppose it's mostly because the storyline continues on to through the next books, but it would have been nice to see a bit more.

I would really recommend reading this series if you haven't already, it's really really good!

This is the 3rd book in Mallory Crowe's Stolen Hearts series. I've liked all of the books in this series so far; however, this one wasn't quite as good. I had a hard time liking the main characters. Willa's character started out being more like a spoiled child but actually improved later in the story by gaining courage. James proved himself eventually as having some kind of personality, but I couldn't feel the connection with these two. I did enjoy how some of the previous characters made appearances in the story and helped these two with the conflict. I still liked reading this but I'm more anxious to read about Scott & Toni in the next installment in the series. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest and voluntary review.

With each book, Mallory Crowe keeps getting better and better!

It is hard to choose my favorite book by her. When I read one I think "ok, this is my favorite", but then I read another and think "oh no, this one is my favorite", and another one "forget the past, now I have a favorite" and goes on.

So now: I have a new favorite! I've been in love with this series since before it even started. Since Fractured Farrels Series, when I met Scott Hart, I knew I would love it, and I didnt get disappointed.
With each book we get closer to the "supreme bad guy", and I cant wait to see the house of cards falls apart!

And this time, James and Willa were essential to get the closest ever, although, with so many surprises, they seem a little (lot) farther from their goal.
Willa is that heroine that, if she is not well written, you may not like her at all! But that is definitely not the case! She is so well developed, and she shows that she can be a trust fund baby, but not a brat! she can have everything money can get, and still makes the right choices. She is strong in her very particular way, with all her naiveness. She knows what she wants and, even when she is afraid, she goes for it!

James is that brooding, stoic, severe man you just love! He is a hermit, he is a loner, he is, in his own words, a mercenary. He is also brave, sexy, protector and will do anything to protect those he cares about.

Their chemistry was great and it was hard to put the book down!

I can't wait for the next book! It will be insane!

Really enjoying this series a lot. I really liked James Weston's character a lot. I enjoyed Willa too, kind of spoiled but didn't act like a bitch. They made a good match.

I totally recommend this series and recommend they be read in order so you have the back stories. I don't want to give away too much here.

The story line and plot is very good, there is come fun kick ass action scenes, some sex, could use a little more dialogue but the story flows very well and comes together nicely. The character development is written very well too.

This is just a really fun series.

REVIEW: 4.25 stars--THE DANGEROUS THIEF is the third installment in Mallory Crowe’s contemporary, adult STOLEN HEARTS romantic, suspense series. This is mercenary for hire James Weston, and twenty four year old heiress Willa Belli’s story line. THE DANGEROUS THIEF can be read as a stand alone but for cohesion and back story I recommend reading the series in order as each installment picks up upon the events of the previous, as well as the continuing premise throughout the series.

SOME BACKGROUND: Following a theft that went horribly wrong, Jennifer, Melody and Toni Murray vow revenge against the men who stole from them something that can never be returned. These are their stories as they hunt down the men responsible.

Told from dual third person perspectives (James and Willa) THE DANGEROUS THIEF is a bit of a departure from the series as the story line focuses on the daughter of one of the men the Murray sisters are hoping to destroy. As the witness to a murder, Willa is on the run, one step ahead of those hunting her down. Enter James Weston, mercenary for hire, and the man tasked with protecting our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship between Willa and James, and James’ struggle to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love.

Throughout most of her life, Willa Belli has been sheltered from her father’s business but as a witness to a recent homicide, Willa finds herself the center of attention, and with it the revelation to the truth about her father’s income, and the who and what of his business contracts. James Weston is unable to let go of the guilt from his latest assignment-an assignment that resulted in the death of someone he was charged with protecting. Hoping to make amends, James struggles with his attraction to Willa, and his inability to let go of the past.

The relationship between Willa and James begins acrimoniously. Willa’s anxiety over the murder, and the fear of the unknown finds our heroine trying to come to terms with her current situation. James knows that to get involved with a client could risk everything he has struggled to achieve but falling in love was never in the future. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of sexually graphic, over the top language and text.

Most of the previous story line couples and characters plays secondary and supporting roles including Austin and Jennifer (The Cocky Thief), Toni Murray, and former Chicago police officer Scott Hart who was first introduced in the author’s RELENTLESS (Fractured Farrells series #5) . Melody and Adam (The Beautiful Thief) are in hiding, as Melody must keep a low profile while the others hunt for the men responsible for destroying their lives. Toni and Scott’s story line is next in The Reluctant Thief.

The world building continues to focus on revenge; vengeance for an unnecessary loss but a loss that broke the hearts of the Murray sisters. The building relationship between Willa and James sets the couple on a path towards a happily ever after including the possibility of Willa working with the Murray clan.

THE DANGEROUS THIEF is a story of revenge, family, romance on the run and retribution. The premise is moving; the characters are charismatic and energetic; the romance is spicy and hot. THE DANGEROUS THIEF is a captivating story about two people thrown together by circumstance and fate.

I received a free copy of this title from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

The Stolen Hearts series by Mallory Crowe just keeps getting better! A series that started with a Cocky Thief now follows the Murray sisters through a revenge plot to punish the man responsible for their mother's death. And in walks Willa, spoiled heiress who has no idea what her Daddy is involved in. In one night she goes from party girl to seeing her new BFF shot by her father in cold blood, because he found out she's FBI.

So, what's a girl to do when she finds out her father isn't who she thought he was? They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend... so Willa seeks out the Murray sisters. Then in walks James Weston, who feels responsible for Isobel's death and owes the Murray sisters. He's just supposed to get Willa out of town and protect her, but he wasn't counting on the spoiled heiress having a backbone and wanting to get justice for her FBI friend.

This was a fun, romantic, suspenseful, exciting read! My favorite part of this series is the women and the strength they bring to the table. I can't wait to read Toni and Hart's story next. I need to see Sterling get what's coming to him!

The Dangerous Thief is the third installment in the 'Stolen Hearts' series by the incredible wordsmith, Mallory Crowe. This series is about the Murray sisters who earn their living on the not-so-right side of the law and their mother, Isobel, who taught them everything they know. During their last mission something went sideways and their mother was murdered. James, our hero in this book, was Isobel's protector/body guard who had the job of keeping her safe... Now, he's trying to make things right and he's going after Sterling, the man who had Isobel murdered, and Belli, Sterling's co-conspirator. We know from 'The Beautiful Thief, book two in this series, that Willa Belli, Belli's twenty-four year old daughter, witnessed her father murdering a friend of hers that was an undercover FBI agent unbeknownst to Willa.

James Weston is a mercenary, a hired killer if you will who takes out the really bad guys who seem to always allude capture or consequence. He's a bigger-than-life, muscle bound, gorgeous, broody man with a body made for sin. Underneath his hard, impenetrable exterior you'll find a heart, a soft heart when he finally meets his match. I want a James just like him!

Willa Belli is your typical trust fund baby whose father has always provided her with everything she could possibly want. She went to college but didn't graduate, has never had a job and runs with the trust fund crowd spending her time partying...oh, and shopping. Her funds are endless but now she's found out that her father has not amassed his fortune in an upstanding manner. She's a runner. If anything gets a little tough she runs just like leaving college when there was a little blip and a teacher tried to blackmail her. Instead of following the proper channels she split and was on to something new...and meaningless, never finishing anything she starts. That all changes with her friend's murder at the hands of her father.

I love all of Ms Crowe's books and this was no exception. In fact, this may be my favorite of hers to date. I highly recommend 'The Dangerous Thief.'

Notation: To add to your reading enjoyment please read this series in order.

Thank you Mallory for another wonderful escape. I'm on pins and needles waiting for book four!

What did I think, well let me tell you from book 1 (The Cocky Thief), book 2 (The Beautiful Thief) to this one book 3 ( The Dangerous Thief) all the men in these are just as hot, hot, hot and dangerous as their female counter parts.

So let's begin Willa Belli was the typical trust account child, who got whatever she wanted and just like every other trust account child she could party like the others. Only difference was when Willa found out how her father made his money she had also witnessed the killing of one of her best friends. Who was the person behind it no one other than he own father.

Enter James Weston who was assigned to look after her, he was every woman's dream man and also an ex hit man and now been brought on as her body guard. Here is where she meets the rest of the Murray sisters who are in this to revenge the death of their mother for those who have kept up with this series you will know when her mother died.

Even though the Murray's have the best thieves and hacker in their family only one person can get close to Jadon Belli, Willa his own daughter could do that. Of cause James wasn't going to like that, but Willa herself was willing to take her own father down and with the best teachers who could teach her the tricks of how to move about and keep away from cameras and how long it would take for her to break into a safe, she was the right girl for the job.

James Weston was the kind of man you could melt all over, but is he the kind of man you could trust? Most important could Willa survive what she was about to get involved in? Who will meet their demise this time? In order for you to find out you will have to read this part, I promise you, you will not be disappointed, you can count on Mallory to keep it action packed.

Am I being vague, of cause I am and always will be in my reviews, after all I can't tell the whole story for you can I....Please enjoy I know I did.
I was fortunate to receive this as an ARC.

Stealing hearts by MeemsAngel82

This was actually my very first book by Mallory. And the first I read in this series, go figure! It can be read as a standalone but it would have been more fun if I started at the beginning because why not? Every character in this series was so enjoyable, so entertaining even though some...the men...cough...can be more than a little frustrating! Good thing they are worth it to these amazing strong ladies. The plot is fun and never a dull moment, these two have some serious chemistry. And when he turns it on, he TURNS IT ON. Oh, yes.

She had a bad father and was in need of protection. He was was tough and wouldn't be swayed by some rich girl...

Uh, huh. Bud, ya tried. Ya really did. He did but you could feel the delicious tension and yes folks, delicious because this man was intense. He was a smart and strong guy, a strategist and had her annoyed and attracted. He was attracted as well and no, she was no spoiled girl. She was a good person and together they lived through tense situations and close quarters. She relies on him and it was sweet to see her trying to help him but when he gave in I was done! I absolutely loved their attraction. I wished for more formal love you's but it was a action-packed, thoughtful and well planned story. I loved the other's in this series but these two remain my favorite. Their attraction was fantastic and so was this book!

For some reason this is the first book in this series that I have read. I think I even own the rest of them, but haven't gotten the chance to read them. I was gifted an advanced copy of this one by the author.

Although I was a little disoriented at first, probably because this is a continuing series, I was quickly able to settle into the story. Willa has seen her father do something that has scared and horrified her. James Weston has demons of his own. He has agreed to protect Willa for reasons of his own. He needs information about her father's associates and he plans on getting it from her. He doesn't plan on having feelings for her, but sometimes things don't go the way we plan.

Willa had no idea what to do in the middle of nowhere Arizona. She is so bored that she is starting to think about James as more than her protector. Before she has time to act on it there is an attack at the house and she decides that the only way to solve her problems is the face them head on. She steals James' truck and heads to Vegas to get herself "taken" home. James is sure of one thing, she is not getting away from him that easily.

That is all I am telling you. I am going back to read the previous books, if I have them! Though I got this book for free, my review is my own opinion.

Wow! This series just keeps getting better and better. It was really interesting seeing Willa’s growth in this book. She starts out being a spoiled little rich girl who parties (and drinks too much) because that’s all she really has to fill her time. This book really shows the integrity and grit that were always inside the outward persona. It would have been so much easier for her to turn a blind eye to what was going on and resume her partying, but she didn’t. Up until this point in the series we haven’t really known much about James, other than as a peripheral figure. I still don’t feel I know too much about him, as he’s a man of few words, but what I do know, I like. Just the fact that a man like him can be completely thrown off his game by his feelings for Willa tells me a lot about his basic character. I was on the edge of my seat during parts of this story because as we know from previous books in the series, bad things can happen to the good guys. I really don’t know how things are going to be resolved. The odds against them seem overwhelming, so I’m really looking forward to the next book.
I received an ARC of this book and it is my pleasure to post this honest and voluntary review.

Voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy
I 've loved these Stolen Hearts series from the beginning and each story seems to get better and better .To me ,"The Dangerous Thief" is the best book in this series so far . With James and Willa , Mallory Crowe has created some loveable characters that completely charmed and captivated me. And by throwing in the brooding and sexy as hell James Weston I was as confused as Willa was, and equally as attracted to him as well. Without giving too much away and spoil everything I only can say that Willa and James' story is full of excitement ,mystery , suspense , raw emotion and so much more . This is a fast paced story with an intriguing story line ,each chapter flowing seamlessly into the next one .When you begin the journey with James and Willa , magnetically drawn to each other , don 't think you are enjoying your typical romance , oh no ....suddenly the road takes a very sharp turn and your emotions will be all over the place . This book is a real page turner and keps you wanting more , so that even the end did little to calm my pounding heart . All I can do now is anxiously waiting the next installment .Brilliantly written Ms Crowe , you know for sure how to capture and titillate your readers !!!

This fast paced and exciting novel kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. It is one of those books that you can't put down until you have reached the last page. We have met the characters in previous books in this series and it does add to one's enjoyment of this story if you have read the preceding novels. James and Willa are an unlikely pair, in that Willa is a spoilt little rich girl with more brains that most people give her credit for, and James is her protector/bodyguard whose mission it is to keep her safe until such time as her father has been brought to justice. James is the strong silent, minimalistic type, whilst Willa talks compulsively when nervous, which is her default state throughout this book. The dialogue is witty and mixed into the suspense there are moments of hilarity. The connection between James and Willa grows in spite of their determination to be rid of each other as soon as possible, and gives credence to the theory that opposites attract. I really do enjoy Ms Crowe's style of writing as her characters are always strong and resourceful and there is a certain honour about them that draws you in. I can hardly wait for the next book in this series. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

All of the books in this series, and by this author as a matter of fact, are really enjoyable to read. The characters are developed to such an extent that you root for them all. Mallory seems to dream up these complicated, quirky characters who get under your skin and you can't put the book down until you see how the messes they get involved in are resolved! I don't like to give away details to someone who hasn't read the book, but if you have read any of Mallory's other books, this one is just as good, if not better!

The main characters, James Weston, and Willa Belli, come from completely different worlds yet are thrown together from the first page. James, the strong silent type and Willa, the chattering young rich girl, seem to have nothing whatsoever in common but they have to learn to tolerate one another for at least a short period of time. The book switches back and forth between James' point of view and Willa's, so you get the story from both sides. The book is fairly short and reads quickly. The only negative is that I had a ton of work to do the day I started reading it and I got none of my work done. I couldn't put the book down until I finished their story!!

ARC for honest review with no compensation, Mallory Crowe sure knows how to bring you in right from the start and doesn’t let up until the very last word…..awesome read! ! 4.5 stars

Although this is the 3rd book in the series it can be read as a standalone, but reading the first two books gives you more background into the story line and sets you up for the next book in the series…

This book is about Willa Belli, a let’s party hardy, who doesn’t have to work and has a huge trust fund too just riding along on Daddy’s money until she witnesses her father killing one of her friends who just happens to be undercover FBI. Now she is on the run and goes to the Murry girls for help.

James Weston is assigned as Willa’s bodyguard and to keep her safe from harm by the Murray girls as her father, Jadon Belli is next on their list of people to interact with in order to the get to the top man who ordered their mother’s death.

A story of, suspense, intrigue, and hot and heavy romance all rolled into this story with still a lot of questions to be answered…hopefully in the next book.

These books just keep getting better and better!!! Mallory Crowe is a fabulous writer. She writes wonderful drama with a home by of romance in this series. I'm not usually to big on drama but these books are just wow!! You don't have to read the other books in this series to read this one but who wouldn't because they are great! Willa is running away from from her father. Melody has put her in the protection of James Weston. He is a quiet recluse of a man and Willa is a talkative girl, such opposites. Things turn for the worse at his home and Willa decides what is best for both of them instead of waiting for him. The whole group gets together to see Willa's plan through. We get some steamy moments with Weston and Willa. I couldn't put this book down. I read an advanced copy of this book fir a honest review. No cliffhanger but it does leave it open for next book. No cheating and a HEA. Enjoy!

WOW!! This series just keeps getting better! I binge read the first 3 books in Stolen Hearts Series because once I started I couldn't put them down! I've already pre-ordered Book 4, The Reluctant Thief.

Willa was introduced in The Beautiful Thief. This book revolves around Willa and James Weston. More information is learned about the top villain, Mr. Sterling. He is one bad man with a far-reaching, vast empire. As with the rest of the series, this book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading the series in order. Everything will make much more sense that way. Plus, there are a lot of recurring characters in a complex overlapping story arc. The surprise at the end caught me off guard but it is definitely realistic. I can't wait to see how that is resolved in Book 4.

If you like well-written, complex stories, and characters, with all the feels, definitely read this awesome series by the very talented Mallory Crowe. It is a series you don't want to miss.

The Dangerous Thief, like its two processors in the Stolen Hearts Series is a stand alone book without being a cliff-hanger however, it is a continuation of the series dominate theme. Willa Belli had a supporting role in the previous book and now she is one of the two main characters in this latest addition to the series. Like the other books in the Stolen Hearts series, Ms. Crowe, has created a dangerous criminal male lead and a strong, determined female lead. Though Willa's character does not start off as dominate character in the being of the book but she soon becomes a kick ass feminine lead. The Dangerous Thief, is breathtaking romantic suspense story with a happy-ever-after. This non-stopped page turner is an awe-inspiring tale and I hardily recommend reading it.

I received this book from the author and I am freely posting this fair and balanced review.

*I read an ARC and this is my honest review*
Mallory has given us even more suspense in her third book of the thief series. If you read the other books then you know the Murray sisters and others are after a man I call the Ghost. In trying to find the ghost James is keeping Willa safe from her father. James though needs Willa’s father to help in finding the ghost. His plan takes a turn when Willa returns home but he adjusts and finds his way back in her life. They work together and in the process, start on a journey filled with desires neither of them won’t to give into but cannot seem to fight it. We have all the elements of a good Mallory book with suspense, lies, betrayal, and revenge. Can Willa and James find love in the midst of all the danger coming their way or will it be nothing in the end?

I loved reading the amazing and riveting romance story by the phenomenally talented Mallory Crowe. I voluntarily reviewed a copy.
After Willa witnesses her father killing someone, almost getting shot by her father's head of security, and fleeing her father's men, Willa's new bodyguard is a sexy, assassin, James Weston. As Willa and James spend more time together, both of them start to develop feelings for each other. When Willa's father's men draw closer and closer and James life is in danger, Willa leaves and goes back to her father to stop running, face the danger, and protect James but James has other plans.
Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of intrigue, action, and romance, and a must read love story of Willa and James trying to survive against unforeseen danger.

Well I'll be honest and say I didn't read the other books so I'm at a disadvantage here. It took me a bit to get into the story but once I did I enjoyed it. James is hired to keep Willa safe but also has another agenda that he's keeping from her. Which I gathered is what I missed from the previous books. Willa is a rich girl who has seen her father kill someone. She knows he isn't an angel but she didn't expect this and doesn't know what he'll do to her. The two embark on a journey as they try to keep themselves one step ahead of trouble while James is tying to ignore is desire. It's a fast paced book that kept me on my toes and now I'll have to go back a read the other books to catch up. "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."

James Weston has stayed off the grid as much as possible after leaving the military. His association with the Murray women has left him with a different assignment, babysit Willa, the daughter of Jadon Belli, who witnessed her father kill someone and is fearful of her life. Willa is a hand full and after escaping from James' compound Willa returns home to Chicago. To keep Willa safe, James gets hired to "protect" Willa. Can James and Willa protect their hearts? This is a fun, action packed story that will make you laugh and will also have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next. Each story in the Stolen Hearts series is stand alone but you will want to read them all.

I was so into this story that time flew by and I was finished before I knew it. The Dangerous Thief is a great read. I loved the chemistry between Willa and James. There's something really likable about her and James is just plain studly! His task is to keep her safe but he never expected to lose his heart to her. I know they will pop up in the rest of the series but I am missing them already. It was good to see some of the other players back again and I can't wait for Scott and Toni's story which seems like it has been a long time coming. I loved this edge-of-your-seat action and romantic suspense story which is the third interconnected book of this superb series. Highly recommended.

James and Willa's Story
An enjoyable and engrossing read, with good chemistry between the two main characters. James is a mercenary tasked with protecting Willa, a man of few words - the strong, silent type. Willa is a trust fund baby, freaked out by discovering her father's criminal tendencies and that there are people willing to kill her. They are total opposites but the attraction between them cannot be denied. The third book in the series but can be read as a standalone.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to give an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

In this book the two main characters are Willa Belli the daughter of one of the groups arch enemies and James Weston who has been put in charge of protecting her. After she asked the group for protection from her father. Until they can get the information they need from her father to bring him down and the man they are really after.
This series has some fantastic characters and a wonderful storyline. Can't wait to read the next book in the series The Reluctant Thief, book #4!

Book 3 in the Stolen Hearts series, and they just keep getting better!! As always with Ms. Crowe's books, I was sucked in from page one. In this book, Willa witnessed her further commit murder of her best friend, and unbeknownst to her--an undercover FBI agent,...and he happens to be Sterling's right-hand-man. James was Isobel's bodyguard, the Murray sisters' mother, and he is now tasked with keeping her safe. Explosion occurs between Willa and James that makes you keep turning the pages. And then weep when the story ends. Book 4 cannot come soon enough...

I received an ARC of this book for an unbiased opinion.

I was so glad to see almost everyone together in this book. I still wish there was more working together as a team going on in the series and this book made it feel like thats right around the corner. Willa, I was so nervous about this character after book 2. She came off flighty, silly and selfish. This book changed my opinion of her. She became strong in her belief and willing to sacrifice herself on order to get justice for the things her father had done. James was the quiet, strong mercenary type. Honestly not my favorite hero in the series but still a good character. This storyline is moving right along and I'm excited for the next book!

The Dangerous Thief is the third book in the Stolen Hearts series. This can be read as a standalone with a HEA. It has a soft cliffhanger ending for the next book. It is a quick read so it's perfect for an afternoon curled up somewhere comfy. There is some violence and hot steamy sex scenes so 18+.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. I do want to find out more about this group and will continue to read the rest of the series.

I received a copy of this book from the author and chose to leave a review for other readers.

Every book she puts out is better than the last one. You never have to worry about reading them in order as anything from earlier books that you need to know she tells you when it is perfect time. I have read all the series in order and they are outstanding books and I am always looking forward to the next one as they keep me in suspense until the end. Sometimes I think I figure out who the culprit is but I am usually wrong as they are written so superbly. Once you start reading you are not going to want to quit until the end of the book so be sure and set enough time aside to read it.
