Fairly good history, appropriate for younger children. But the chapter on Roger Williams is seriously inaccurate, making it seem as if strict people drove out a much less strict Williams into the cold winter. In fact Williams was himself extremely strict and sectarian, and the plan was to send Williams back to England ... but Williams himself ran off into the winter. The final chapter or so, on the end of WWII and the formation of the United Nations, seems extremely naive to me.
