Book 309 - Jeremy Strong - Invasion of the Christmas Puddings !

Another Strong story and another Christmas one at that. I can’t help it. Such a brilliant writer…

Just imagine that Father Christmas had an evil brother…a brother who is exiled across the universe…imagine he is called Bad Christmas, who wants to take over the world by zombifying the population of the world with Christmas Puddings that have been mixed with…horror of horrors…SPROUTS !!

What is especially brilliant about this story is that it is filled with movie sound effects …for example…a chapter might start with the phrase “dramatic music and loud thundery sound effects”. It is so silly…so brilliant.

The ending is so lovely and again another winner from Mr.Strong…I would again love to read or dramatise this with a class of 9 or 10 year olds…would be fabulous.

More please…never apologising for reading Strong’s books.

Had to force myself to read to the end. Not my kind of humour.
