Incredible, speechless and emotional are the words I would use to describe Study Me by Logan Chance. This forbidden student/professor romance was by far one of the BEST book I've ever read. Seriously Logan, you hit it out of the park with this one.
Marley is a medical student at NYU and even though her professor is a grade A asshole, she can't help but lust after the sexy infuriating man.
Houston Dale is a lost man who is stuck doing a job he absolutely hates. It doesn't help matters any, that he has a certain student that he can't seem to get out of his mind.
The chemistry between them is off the charts hot, but it could never be anything more then a no strings attached relationship.
Can Houston learn to love himself, so he can finally be happy again?
You will definitely want to one click this bad boy to find out!!

He has done sexy. He has done sassy. He has done laugh out loud, toe curling, beat your head against the wall frustration. With Study Me he has all of that AND he hits you right in the feels!!! Not just a little love tap either. HE KNOCKED THIS OUT OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!

I enjoyed this novella read, and was captivated from the outset. Having met Marley in Date Me, I was looking forward to her story, and let's face it - student/teacher romance - count me in!
The fact that Houston was her college Professor & Marley a Med Student also appealed to me - as while it was a taboo romance / age gap read, neither was 18 nor a virgin - making a nice change.
Now, I started this novella expecting the same type of fun, sassy, flirty, heartfelt romance read I'd enjoyed in "Date Me" for no other reason than I did.
And there were early signs that this was going to be the case... however the deeper I got into the story, I realised there were going to be no rainbows, kittens & frosting on erogenous zones here.
It was a captivating read, and the push & pull between these two was as magnetic as it was destructive, but neither able to deny its existence for too long.
Marley & Houston's story was darker, deeper and was going expose raw nerves before a HEA was possible & I couldn't put it down.

WOW! Let's start off with that, this story takes you through a ride of emotions. Marley is on the path to becoming a doctor and Houston is one sexy doctor turned Professor, the fact that Marley is his assistant doesn't hurt either. There are always lessons that need to be learned. This story is filled with sexiness entwined with heartfelt emotions, it grabs hold of you and just keeps pulling you deeper and deeper into all that is Houston and Marley both individually as well as together. Absolutely incredible read what can I say without giving anything away? You NEED to read this book. Simple as that, it's a MUST READ standalone beautifully written by Logan Chance. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

This may be a short read but it’s pack with an emotional story mixed with scorching hot scenes. Logan Chance stepped it up with this story. It was only my second book by him but I could see the growth as an author. It definitely delivered beyond any expectation. I was blown away.
It was angsty, emotional, sexy and hot. Logan pulled me in with the thoughts of a forbidden love story of a professor and student but kept me entranced with the intense story of loss and hope. The characters were real with raw emotion and heart that will grab a hold of your heart.
I loved this from beginning to end and look forward to more from Logan in the future.

Study Me is simply amazing book. A roller coaster of emotions, one minute ya crying and it's hot as fire .
It's beautiful story of pain and numbness, love. Working towards a second chance. He has to forgive his self first.
Love Houston and Marley , glad that she could be there for him.

I really enjoyed this teacher/student romance! My only complaint is that I wish it was longer - more of a full story rather than a novella. I got this book through my romance reveal book subscription and I'm so glad I did - I love discovering new authors like this and I can't wait to check out more books by this author.

I liked this taboo novella. Marley has fantasies about Professor Houston. Little does she know Houston is holding himself back from claiming her. When he does and proposes that the only way they can be is no strings attached. After a little thought Marley says yes because she cant bare the thought of being without Houston. What Houston doesn't anticipate is Marley penetrating his heart. Until he deals with his demons he will be haunted and unable to move forward. This was steamy and emotional. I read it all in one setting and I liked the flow of it.

I SO did not expect for this book to touch me like it did. Study Me is officially in my Top Reads for 2017. I initially read it via my Kindle Unlimited subscription, but as soon as I finished reading it, I went back on Amazon and bought it. Yes, it is that good. There was a level of emotional depth that was so unexpected. Not to mention it was sexy as hell. It literally had me gripped from the first page - it basically hijacked my whole afternoon but it was so so worth it.

Fast, fun, easy read! Pulled me in on the first page. It was well written, even though it's short you don't feel rushed or like something is missing. The book is filled with hot steamy scenes and a amazing storyline. I stayed on edge riding an emotional roller coaster.

I don't know about you, but I never had a sexy professor during school and now I feel like I missed out!
Houston is HOT! Sure, that hotness is a trade off for his jerky attitude, but once you scratch the surface, he's a swoony alpha male with a dominant streak you can't ignore. He's all kinds of dirty and you'll love him that way.
Marley is very much caught up in his web. She knows she should resist but the allure is too great to pass up. She may not always make the best decisions when she's around Houston, but she leads with her heart, and that's a quality I LOVE in her.
Sometimes when you read novellas, you're left wanting more. You feel like you don't get the compete story. But that's definitely not the case with this one or with this author. It's a story that will give you all the feels.
I would definitely recommend this novella.

Logan Chance brought it with this book! I have read the Student/Teacher trope time after time. That is one of my favorite taboo stories. You know how it goes. Student falls for their teacher. Teacher can't seem to resist. Then they are hiding their relationship from everyone. Well , Study Me has the same idea of this Taboo but brings you so much more. I felt so many emotions towards Houston. I knew he was a broken man. when I found out why I cried with him.
Marley is the one that makes everything okay. She has fantasized about her Professor since she became his student assistant. I laughed at the antics she would get caught with. I blushed a lot! But come on who can resist their sexy professor and not have naughty thoughts. What I loved about Marley is that she shows you how strong she can be. She thinks she is more vulnerable. But when it came down to it, she showed true strength. She needed to save Houston from his own demons. And their chemistry between the sheets were just off the charts yummy.
Study Me is hot, sexy, and emotionally powerful all wrapped in one. You get sucked into the story and I had to read it non stop from page one to the end. I have to say it again. Praise goes to Logan! I am in awe with this Novella.

Study Me by Logan Chance is a forbidden teacher/student romance story, with twist and turns you won't see coming. It's an emotional one for sure so have Kleenex on stand by. I've read all Logan's books and with each one he writes he continues to blow me away. With this one he outdid himself, the writing was spot on, the chemistry between Houston and Marley is explosive. You know it's an incredible story when your emotions are all over place, one minute you're laughing the next crying.

This book, ugh this book is everything, I was literally blown away. In my opinion this is Logan Chance's best book to date.
Study Me is a student/teacher forbidden romance, but it's the forbidden things in life that are the most sweetest. It's hot, sweet, gut wrenching and everything in between.
Professor Houston Dale is a grade A a**hole to everyone but that doesn't stop Marley from harboring a major crush on him, he blows hot and cold and you'll probably end up with whiplash from his mood changes but damn if I didn't fall in love with him. He's closed himself off for reasons unknown, only letting himself have what he thinks he deserves.
Their chemistry is explosive when they come together, and you could feel the sexual tension between them every other time.
It can be hard to write a romance book with such a powerful message but Logan Chance has done a phenomenal job. I highly recommend you grab this book when it releases and remember to stock up on tissues and alcohol, trust me they will be needed.

This book. Omg this book! I have been trying to process everything that I am feeling since finishing it, but I am still completely overwhelmed with all the emotions this book incited.
Study Me is a professor/student romance. It practically promises a dirty read that errs on the side of taboo. And it delivers. It DEFINITELY delivers. This book will set your kindle on fire!
However what it also, somewhat unexpectedly, delivers is an exceptional love story. One that is written with a heartbreaking intensity and a complexity that captures every raw emotion perfectly.
These characters engaged me in a way very few have before, and I felt like I travelled this rollercoaster ride right alongside of them. My heart was enraptured, broken and then put back together all in the space of 24 chapters. And I loved every single second of it.

This book was soooo good, I read it in two sittings! The only thing that prevented me from finishing it in one sitting was my familial obligations. I expected it to be a quick, insta-love kind of romance and it was far from that. The professor-student love story is pretty common but Logan Chance's "Study Me" stands out. The writing style flows beautifully and he's able to capture Houston and Marley's emotions perfectly. I finished this book over the weekend and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a novella that pulls you in, makes you think about all of the important things in your life, the people you love, and why it's important to let them know that you love them. This is the first book I've read by Logan Chance and I can't wait to read his previous books!

Logan Chance really surprised me with Study me!! This is definitely a different style book for him. Probably his most emotional and I loved it! One of my favorites to read, forbidden, teacher/student romance with an emotional twist.
Houston Dale is an abrasive professor at NYU. Did I mention he hates teaching?? Right from the start, I was thinking what is this guys problem?? (Don't get me wrong his grumpy ass was smoking hot.) He can spank me anytime. lol. Marley is a Pre-Med student and his assistant... She's hot for teacher! She seems to like his petulant attitude too. Marley just can't get Houston out of her head. Every glance or touch has her burning up! Houston finds her hard to resist too... Put them near each other and they are combustible! Professor Dale tries to fight his desire for Marley. For more then one reason, besides it being ethically wrong, he feels unworthy of happiness. He wants to wallow in despair. He has a past that won't seem to let him go. I was dying to find out his story!! Logan kept me on the hook... I enjoyed the push, pull and heat between the two. There were also many amusing scenes that made me chuckle. I really enjoyed Marley's light in contrast with Houston's dark. It was a good balance. It's such a great plot with so much material, I wish the book was longer!!

This Standalone is the second in the 'Sex Me Novella's,and features (24 year old) Marley (Erik's younger sister from Date Me) who is a med student/and assistant to her older(32 year old),sometime A**hole of a Professor-Houston Dale...cue the 'Taboo' student/teacher theme...HOT,FANTASY EROTIC SCENES,which yes have been done before...BUT with this novella (that read more like a full on story) we get MORE than that! Told in DUAL POV's from the short Prologue,until the Epilogue,the push and pull between both before the inevitable,is often amusing (Drunk Marley is hilarious) and again I laughed out loud at her actions,(much like I did with Date Me) the emotional,and tragic past of Houston had me shedding a tear,and the way the story developed was engaging,making it a very WELL WRITTEN ENJOYABLE HOT read-even with the heartbreak added in I LOVED IT and that Lexi and Erik (the older siblings to Marley) also had a couple of cameo's...Erik's appearance leading to a misunderstanding on Houston's part when he see's Marley and him together-forcing Houston's growing attraction/feelings towards his student to become more clear to him...and acting like an A** afterwards-but eventually there is a HEA for them both!

Logan Chance blew my mind with Study Me a teacher/student romance that had many lessons in anatomy and also pulled on the heartstrings. I was really surprised on where this story took me emotionally, I found myself trying to fight that ugly cry of mine. I hated walking away from this book, I damned every chore or person that interfered with my reading time.
Marley Murphy is a pre-med student and a TA for one hot but bad-tempered professor. This student will test your limits, Marley will give just as much as she can take. Will falling for a man with a past that he keeps to himself and a entering a relationship that has to stay a secret be to much for her handle?
Houston Dale, has a past that haunts him and the only thing that seems to bring some light into his life is his student/TA. Her beauty and exuberance helps him forget that he is in a job that he hates and a life that only has darkness. Houston will have you loving and hating him, but his story is one that will break your heart.
Study Me, is a short read but lacks of nothing and is packed with all the emotional feels one wants is a great read. For an obsessed reader Logan Chance makes it difficult to want to keep this story to myself and stay away from spoilers, it is one that I find myself wanting to shout about. The storyline has those two characters that have that sexual falling in love connection with obstacles that can come between them. I can't wait for the release date so that I can recommend that everyone one-click this 5 Star read that will have readers talking.

Houston and Marley are a little taboo.....
Logan Chance certainly knows how to write hot, steamy, sensual and taboo subject books. STUDY ME, his latest offering is definitely one of these!!!! The taboo subject is a Professor/student relationship that will push the burn limits of your books. Too Hot To Handle.....quite possibly!!
Professor Houston Dale lectures in Anatomy at NYU and his student/assistant, Marley Murphy, are one scorching couple. The chemistry between them has the pages burning up as you try to turn them. All is not what it seems though. Houston is suffering from an event in his past, an event that makes him shut down his emotions - he doesn't want to care ever agan. Marley, spirited and fun loving, wants to be the one who changes all if that.
Logan presents his readers with a story that is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. My heart breaks for these two characters, I laugh at some of Marley's antics and the innuendos that Logan has thrown in throughout their story. Marley and Houston are the perfect balance for each other, her being the light and he being the darkness, and it makes for perfect reading.
Once again Logan has written a book that has kept me enraptured from the beginning. Not many books involving this topic keep my attention, but this one certainly did. The main reason being, it wasn't just gratuitous sex, there was also a storyline that pulled at my heartstrings. I look forward to the next book in this HOT series.

I finished this book last night and have been trying to process all that I am feeling for the last 17 hours. But I am still completely overwhelmed by all the emotions this book incited.
Study Me is a teacher/student romance. It practically promises a dirty read that errs on the side of taboo. And It delivers. It DEFINITELY delivers!
However what it also delivers is an exceptional story that is written with an intensity that captures every raw emotion perfectly.
These characters engaged me in a way very few have before, and I felt like I travelled this rollercoaster ride right alongside them. My heart was enraptured, broken and then put back together all in the space of 24 chapters. And I loved every single second of it.

Not your typical teacher student romance as the student is in her mid 20's and her professor is only in his early 30's. This story had it all and kept me on the edge of my seat as I tried to work out why Houston was as broken as he was. This story will make you cry and your heart will break for this man. However the story also has some seriously hot moments that will leave your fingers burned as you hang onto your Kindle. Ultimately the story will fill you with joy and make you smile as a shattered heart is repaired.

OK, so this was good for me, not great and not terrible either. I wished that the build-up was more and I don't know I was just missing so much in between that I had a hard time to connect with the characters. I guess I needed more of them together to have related I guess:( Sorry, hard to put in words! It was too rushed.....

This was a great quick and fast, dirty, sexy read. I mean who does't love a professor/student relationship? Esp when said professor is HOT as hell, and talks super dirty.
Houston and Marley were were dirty together and I enjoyed their story.
