Traces the lives of the parents of Queen Elizabeth II, describes how they adjusted to the change from Duke and Duchess of York to King and Queen of England, and tells how the Queen Mother continues to serve her nation
Very readable and easy to follow. Tried another biography previously and stopped because it was too dull. I could hear the author's voice while reading, which was a bit odd. I enjoyed the first part much more, but that's because I wanted to know of their marriage, not her widowhood.
