E al terzo libro di Celati (secondo di racconti in senso proprio) ne apprezzo davvero contenuto e stile. Sul precedente Narratori delle Pianure mi veniva da dire: "saranno i suoi sillabari?" (con riferimento a Parise) ma forse la definizione pi calzante qui, dato il tono sempre in qualche modo (e volte esplicitamente) fantastico e di parabola di questi racconti brevi (sempre intorno alle 20 pagine), animati da personaggi memorabili e raccontati con leggerezza. Epopee scalcinate del nostro tempo dove "non c' pi paradiso", e gli eroi moderni abbandonano le loro vite ridicole, quelle di tutti noi, intraprendendo ricerche salvifiche che si sfrangiano in un ridicolo ancora pi forte. Born in 1937, he's an Italian writer, translator and critic.<br />Gianni Celati was born in Sondrio, but spent his infancy and adolescence in the province of Ferrara.
