This was a real creative way to expose children to various types of bugs without making them be afraid of them. Real life photographs of various bugs, showing eyebrows, teeth, stripes, spots, legs, etc. Wording is simple just a few words per page. My 4 year old granddaughter and my special needs teen age son enjoyed this book. It doesn't label what bugs names are but does show nice photos of them

Bugs converse with each other about the type of bug that startled the caterpillar. Great book for noticing differences. The end of the book features the bug names and some buggy secrets.
