Very interesting read. I didn't enjoy the style as much as the books written by Cameron himself, but it was still very well done and full of fascinating data from the expeditions. The people that put something like that together, troubleshoot in the midst of dangerous situations, risk death a mile under the sea to explore the earth's phenomena and have the imagination and genius to envision how what we can learn in our own oceans may translate into discovering life on other planets are highly notable, and I loved learning their story.

Not enough pictures of not enough creatures. But those that are included are very good. The DVD and the book would have to be twice as long to be truly satisfying. But since there are so few books on this subject you just about have to have this book in your library if you are at all interested in the subject.
