Christine A. Smyczynski did her research in putting this informative travelogue together. For a New York State resident, this volume should be left in their car's glove compartment. A criticism might be that this volume is too comprehensive.
Excellent guide book. Basically I just skimmed it. But I was surprised to see that the author included some pretty obscure places that we've already been to. Got a few good ideas for future road trips as well.
We used this book to follow the mural mania tour between Macedon and Clyde. It was very well written and easy to follow., with one minor exception. It made fora great trip. The rest of the book has lots of interesting information and is organized well into categories at the end of each chapter. Hopefully they will keep up with new editions to update restaurant and accommodations information.
