This was actually an entertaining short read. It gets 3.5 stars from me because for the type of IR novella it is. It was pretty good. I like Zinzi's stuff. The writing isn't spectacular but the stories are fun to read and kind of on the shorter side, but still packed with lots of steamy love scenes and action. This is no different. Starvros "Rossi" and his "cioccolato", Kayla are a scorching couple. He's a mafia guy who was in a sexual relationship with Kayla but it was way more for him and her. She was in love with him as he was her, but because of how he's raised, to never let a woman run his heart, he keeps his love for her at bay but not his possessiveness! This prompts Kayla to run away from him and of course he comes after her. So the saga of their love is woven into quite a roller coaster ride. I read Part 2 of this saga right after this. So no cliffhanger for me! lol Recommended.

Okay Read!
First time reading something from this Author.The two main characters was likeable the guy was to prosessive for me and I didn't care for the fact he had a lap dance and got an erection and saw nothing wrong with and made excuses for it tells me what lies ahead for him. The girl could not make her mind up. 2.5 stars

Interesting story. Rossi and Kayla's story was very different. The epilogue is what threw me off. I thought the story had ended. Strange cliffhanger.

Good story, I look forward to reading more from this author. Based on the epilogue there's more to the story but the book doesn't end with a cliffhanger. You wont be impatiently waiting to figure out what happens next.

He knew he had to have her from the first time the IT tech came in his office to update the software on his laptop. He just could not stay away from her, no matter how many other women he had.
Kayla Drummond knew that they had a connection, it was good and it felt right, but her Rossi was jealous and very controlling. She was tired of being his secret booty call he kept hidden. She and her girlfriends Dee Dee and Jackie survived foster care and they all managed to get a college education. She had given up too much to be with him. She finally grew a backbone and put her foot down and disappeared for months, refusing to be treated like a common street whore. Rossi was miserable without his ciocolata until he accidently found her and was determined not to ever let her get away from him again, even if her had to get her pregnant to do it.
This is my first time reading a story by Zinzi. She wrote a compelling story about a very controlling man doing what he could to please his father and himself. He evolved into a better man when faced with the options of losing the woman he loved or being a better man to please her and keep her. He came to realize that his controlling father must have never really known love. Kayla, on the other hand also evolved into a stronger woman, not letting Rossi getting away with his controlling antics. She now knew what kind of business his family was in and it scared her, but her love for him trumped her being scared.

Terrible
This book was the worst. I honestly don't know where you start. The characters had no real depth to them just the same old arguments over and over and over again. Like pahhhhhlez. I don't know who the heck is so graciously giving out these 4 stars but please stop. It's readers like me who is willing to suffer through a little bad writing just to get to the end of a hood story but this? This is just, awful.

How to Come Together
This is quite a story. If you like an ALPHA MALEs a STRONG alpha at that. You know you want him to mellow out a little. Kinda smoothing the edges. But at the same time you don't want him to change to much. You know that you like being safe with him and how he makes you feel. It's a good read!

Good read
This is my first book by this author, and it is a good read. I was glad that Kayla learned her worth and stood her ground. Stavros had to learn to be a lover and partner or lose the love of his life. Glad he came around.

The synopsis of this book caught my attention and I'm glad that I read it. Kayla is the woman we all want to be. This story was written very nicely with clear grammar.

Kept woman
This was my first read by this author. I was hooked from beginning to end. Kayla was Stavros's secret lover until she left him because she was tired of being hidden. Rossi eventually finds her by chance and the two enter into a crazy back and forth relationship with hot sex, violence, and secrets. I was a little annoyed with the surprise pregnancy its such a tired, stereotypical plot. The book ends with a sort of cliffhanger but I'm pretty sure I know who the woman is. Looking forward to reading book two. Definitely recommend reading this book.

This book is actually 2.75. The theory behind the storyline was good. I was disappointed that it ended in a cliffhanger. Kayla and Rossi did get together. But the ending left me with so many questions. I didn't like that when they were having sex Kayla referred to him as daddy. That was a turn off.

Okay story
Hearing Kayla and Stavros call each other Mommy and daddy during intimate moments was a complete turnoff. I don't understand why authors think this is sexy. The H/h were immature in my opinion always giggling...Stavros action with the stripper was surprising given his declaration that he couldn't live without Kayla in his world. This was my first read by this author and will not read the continuation which is implied. This story was so uneven. How can a doctor just walk away from his responsibilities...speaking of Esmario.

I enjoyed this book Rossi was so controlling but, I understood where it came from. I was glad to see that Kayla grew a back bone and stood up to Stravos. Stavros Loves Kayla
This was the first book I've read by Zinzi and I loved it. Stavros the main alpha and Kayla the main female in the story are in love but can Kayla handle the truth about Stavros. I can't wait to read Part 2 and I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this story, my first book by this author. I read this book on Kindle Unlimited.
I enjoyed seeing Kayla take the control back from Stavaros over her life. I like that he could lose his temper but he could also beg Kayla when she held her ground.
I am looking forward to what book 2 delivers about this couple.
