Not really my style. Handed to me by the author, and I wanted to give him honest feedback. It was at least interesting enough that I finished it.

I've read a lot of bad books, this is among the worst. For a book about killer dogs, it's mostly just dull and didactic with occasional splashes of clumsy tastelessness on top. A bad bad book.

In the rough marshland surrounding the Amsterdam Skypark funfair in New York, a pack of street dogs has taken up home and lead by their leader, a large brown half blinded mongrel, and with the help of some recklessly dumped chemical ooze have found an easy target in the various people who pass through their territory

A pretty good animal attack novel, not so much focused on the dogs as it could have been, but they have their moments
