For me, it strictly panties only as this hero is a panty raider for sure!

Where do I even begin with this review!?

Holy hotness this book was smoking hot and the characters chemistry was leaping off the page at me here!
Cassie and Connor are just the BEST COUPLE EVER!

I had to stop reading this book in public places as I was making too many weird sounds with my mouth!!
And honestly, I needed peace and quite so I could concentrate!

I would normally quote a few lines and describe some of plot at this part, but today I've decided that I would use gifs to express myself.

Now, I really hope that Mason gets his own story cause he really deserves a HEA and I hope it's a lot like this one!
Cause holy hotness this book was smoking!!!!

I seriously think I need to cool off... I think I might have mentioned that this book was REALLY HOT! But I'm mentioning it again in case I forgot!



The safety was perfect without any cheating hero has experience not a manwhore and heroine is a virgin but not clueless. No OW/OM or ex's popping in. Just them and the story! No condoms but hero used them in his past.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Well written and well paced. Pretty much no angst really. No OW/OM drama. Likable hero and heroine. Great secondary characters (bring on Cain please!) I did think the whole "baddie" situation was wrapped up a tad too conveniently...but other than that a really enjoyable read.

This author is a bit hit and miss for me but having read and enjoyed the next book Mean Machine so much I decided to scroll back and give this one a try.

I absolutely loved Mason and I liked Cassie but I had mixed feelings on Connor. Most of the time I didn’t really like him that much, I just didn’t feel and chemistry between them.

My main problem with this book was that it is way too long and I found myself skimming.

Now don’t get me wrong I like a nice hot read but I do like balance and a lot of the time it felt like sex was being used as filler and there’s a lot of filler.

I also didn’t expect it to end at 52%. It’s a bit disconcerting when I’m reading and wondering what’s going to happen to fill the rest of the book then it ends and the remaining 48% of the book is taken up with a bonus read.
I don’t have an issue with a bonus read but it’s nice to have some idea in advance.

I loved this book from beginning to end. Connor is the exact type of H I love in my books. He's alpha and possessive and knows exactly what he wants from the minute he lays eyes on Cassie. He also has a sweet side he only shows the h. I can't wait for Mason and Cain's stories.

This is the first time I've ever read anything by this author, and whereas I feel she played this a little to safe for my liking I still enjoyed this book.

I didn't feel any chemistry between them. 🫣 And I've been trying so hard to find it or even connect to them as individuals, hence why I reached this point.

Also, it could be a me problem, but the guy came off as sleazy and predatory for my liking. He kept talking about how young she is (because she is! 18 to be exact), but he still can't find it himself to control himself when he's around her. Well, I guess, props for waiting, but still, the way it happened—idk, but it gave me the ick. 🫣
 
Then probably because of the title, but the idea of him leaving her all day, not just once but on some days, chained because she once attempted to escape him doesn't sit well with me. Sure, the chain was long, and she could still move around his apartment. But the fact that she's cuffed is grating on my nerves. She's more like a pretty caged bird there at his place, and, idk, it pissed me off.
 
Anyway, I tried it, but I wasn't pulled by their story. So dnf it is.

I didn't like her being chained (who has a long chain with an anklet at home?) and I don't like the "resolution" of the Dante problem just like that and in the epilogue the H didn't have the closure he needed about Danny. The rest I did like.
I want to read Cain's story, must be fun with him saying mostly nothing...

This is one of those books where I cannot understand why it has so many good reviews, well, I kind of understand, it's a very hot erotica reading, if you like a lot of sex, and controlling guys that think of women as things to possess and use. If you, like me, like your H to have the bare minimum respect for women, don't bother to read this book, it's caveman behavior at its worst. I agree that the sex scenes were good, but I just can't get over the obvious disrespect. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, not when there are good erotica books with actual plots and characters with human traits.

Casey or Cassandra is a runaway that got kind of adopted by Mason, a bar owner who used to be part of an MC. His bar is a biker bar and members of different MCs go there. Dante, the leader of one of those MCs gets interested in Casey. When she witnesses him killing a guy in the parking lot, an FBI agent arrives and is immediately smitten with her. When it's obvious that she is in danger he decides to take her to his house "to protect her". She doesn't want his help and tries to get away, but he gets her back and chains her in his house so she can't get away. At first he keeps telling himself that she is too young for him, and when she gets drunk he decides not to take advantage of her, but then, while she is sober, he simply decides that he needs to "get her out of his system", but as soon as they start having sex he decides to keep her, and doesn't even bother getting a condom, deciding that he wants a kid, without even bothering to ask her what she wants, because she is just an object for him to use and abuse and do whatever he wants with it.

So while they are asleep, he chains her again, to his bed, and when she wakes up, she gets angry at that, but he kisses her and like the brainless horny girl she is, she forgets all about her anger and lets him use her again. So, since he is going against all protocols and he's acting weird, his family and one of his partners at the FBI visit them, but since Casey is all sexed up, she just jokes around the fact that she was chained to his bed and that she is basically a prisoner. When she realizes that Connor lied to her about Mason she gets mad, but again, he just kisses her senseless and she goes brain dead again.

Then, out of the blue Dante's second in command decides that he is a liability and kills him, and then goes and inform Mason that Casey is safe and she can get out of hiding, so Mason calls Connor and asks for him to bring Casey. He "lets" Casey visit Mason, so she can see that he is alright, but then the members of his old MC visit them to make a statement that they trust Casey and that she is one of them, so no one would think of her as a snitch or something, and then Connor shows that he thinks that all bikers are scum and Casey gets angry again, and with Mason's help he sends Connor away, even if he insists that he has every right to take her since she is going to be his wife, not that he even bothered asking, he just decided and she gets no choice on that.

He gives her a day, but since he is dying to have sex with her, he goes to talk to her, and once he starts seducing her, she again forgets everything and does whatever he wants. Mason, who actually thinks of her as a human being and not just a sex doll, demands some respect and stops him for using her, at least until the wedding day. At the wedding they find out that she is pregnant and Mason again gets angry that Connor didn't even bother to use protection, but since they are married there nothing he can do but get angry, and for Cass the fact that the guy got her pregnant without her consent is just a big joke. So seven months and a half after their wedding they have their daughter.

Do you like power hungry FBI agents who kidnap young naive girls? A girl who has never had sex and frankly was never really given the choice? Do you like main female characters who have dreams of going to college to be a veterinarian only to have those dreams dashed without their consent because he “wants to keep her constantly
knocked up?” When asked why they didn’t use a condom he says that they don’t need them because they are exclusive now. Honey bunches of WHAT THE F$CK? Do you like it when the main heroine gets cuffed to the floor to “keep her from hurting herself” because he just can’t let her go?
Because if you do, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!

Seriously, I like alphas just like everyone else. Frankly the darker the better. I like it all (well no reverse harem or triangle stuff. Ok I don’t like it all but I like a lot) but frankly when you don’t give the female an option and keep saying things like “I am so sorry but I can’t stop,” it gets creepy. So creepy that I had to put the book down to figure out why it bothered me so much. It felt wrong. No consent, taking control of another person’s life, using your authority to take whatever you want regardless of whether or not it hurts anyone else, not giving her an option on birth control, and spanking her as a means of police interrogation. These are just some of the things that made me uncomfortable. I couldn’t figure out why though. I like dark stuff. Really dark stuff but then it hit me.

It’s f$cking rape.

Plain and simple.

Maybe it’s a kink for some but don’t claim this guy is an alpha. An alpha a$$hole maybe but most fictional alphas put the needs of their lover ahead of their own. They don’t say things like “I can’t stop.” They would never take the character’s future away from them.

So if rape kink if your thing, have at it.

I need to bleach my eyes and get drunk.

Different strokes for different folks. I always believe this when it comes to books. So I liked this book and I found the H to be really hot! Cutting too close to dubcon but the story worked for me as the heroine never really protested and she was also very attracted from the start. I love love the OTT j/p scenes and I really found Connor hot.

Here's the thing: This reads like the author had no time to do actual research and instead just trusted what the other books she read had to say about things like BDSM and FBI and MCs and life in general. In the middle of sex he finds out she is a virgin and "can't stop himself" and basically just says this is going to hurt but I can't control myself enough to make this good for you. Yeah, I get how the AlphaMale stereotype is supposed to work, but this reads like a Dick with no self control and no interest in anything but an orgasm. The main character is barely 18, but is written as if she is sheltered and younger than that, despite working in a biker bar. And with a much older male protagonist, it seriously reads like pedophilia. This honestly sounds like the excuses that men give when they are dragged in to court to answer for kidnapping and raping a child. She was asking for it, she was giving him the look, he knew she wanted it, he just couldn't help himself once he touched her. I have to wonder if Joanna Blake is actually even a female? I finished the book, just to see if she could redeem herself, but honestly it feels like once she gets the sex in there she just wants to hurry up and get everything wrapped up, except his dick of course. Can we say safe sex people? Can we say how manly he felt knowing he was probably knocking up a virgin child? I guess I need more story, more thought on the part of the writer. The glaring errors detract from the sex, and obviously sex was the only thing that the author was offering. She needs a little more life experience, a little less B movie mentality.

First time is a charm they say. Because not even a caveman, OTT alpha could save this book.



This book has NO plot, NO depth, NO development. The characters are FLAT with NO personality and NO chemistry whatsoever. 50% of the book is about MCs having non stop sex and virgin h giving H "awesome" BJs, while he treats her like she's his pet. 98% of the book is H having dirty thoughts about h. I SHIT YOU NOT.

3.5 stars. Safe and no cheating. First half of the book got me instantly hooked. I love suspense in romance novels, throw in an OTT caveman H in pursuit (not to mention in heat lol) and I certainly wouldn't put the book down. However when I reached past the 50% mark, I thought things went downhill from there. I kept expecting and waiting for something to happen but came up empty-handed. They just had sex all throughout the second half and the suspense build up in the first few chapters went nowhere. I felt like reading a completely different book during the second half. It was anticlimactic that's for sure. That said, I'm curious and still interested in reading the rest of the books in the series.

THIS DAMN BOOK!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT, I was intentionally reading slowly so that it doesn't finish early because it was that good!! 😫 🔥 The kind of story, where I can easily see myself re-reading it again and again!!

Both Connor and Cassie were Absolute perfection!! They are 24*7 horny for each other! Especially Connor!! 🥵🥵My goodness his horniness knows no bounds!! He can go for hours and hours without tiring!! And he was soooo needy! All the time touching and feeling Cassie wanting closer to her, whenever these two were in a room they couldn't just keep their hands to themselves. Connor literally tied her to his bed with a chain so that she can't ran out on him 🤣🤣.

His concern about her was so sweet. He was always thinking about Cassie 's protection, and how keep her only to him.

Connor takes a liking to Cassie and wants to protect her even though she is stubborn and doesn’t think she needs protecting. So alpha male Connor puts her under his brand of protective custody and hijacks her to his home for his brand of protective custody where he can personally take care of her. At first Cassie doesn’t know what to think but the more time these two spend together , the more they fall for each other. But that’s not without their ups and downs..I mean, Connor using chains with Cassie ( you have to read this book to experience what I am talking about) Cassie is super stubborn –will she let go and let Connor protect her? He has a lot of pain in his past over what happened to his partner and doesn’t want anything to happen to her. I love the secondary characters involved in this story, especially Mason. I would love to see a book written for him because he captured my heart just as Cassie and Connor did. I loved the action, angst, passion, humor and love that this story represented. As always, Ms. Blake writes some pretty terrific stories that have awesome and fleshed out characters with believable storylines. I look forward to her next story eagerly.

Not much can catch Connor off guard, but Casey seems to do it a lot, “I think you would be more comfortable-“ We clinked our shot glass together. “Without pants.” He choked on his shot, but I swallowed mine down with barely a wince." Connor doesn't appreciate when work calls him away from his woman, “I have to go sweetie. You’re going to have to wait for round two.” He grabbed his gun and badge and kissed me hard. “Eff, I don’t want to go.” I really enjoyed this book, Connor was real protective of his woman.

Cuffed was an exciting and fast-paced romantic story about the relationship between Connor, an FBI agent and Casey/Cassandra, a young woman who was taken in and protected by an older biker. There is the usual scary biker outlaws, pushy, bossy alpha law enforcement and a dangerous threat to them all....which brings Casey and Connor together as he tries to protect the headstrong young woman from the threat of a rival club and breaking all the rules in the process.
This story also deals with a young woman's coming-of-age and has a few moments of "daddy/girl" role-playing in some scenes that are kindle-melting hot!
There is steamy sex, there are many funny, humorous moments and above all else, there is a strong family bond both between the bikers and FBI and their respective families...as well as the happy couple.
Another fun and exciting read from Joanna Blake to add to your collection.
