Lacy Williams wishes her writing career was more like what you see on Hallmark movies: dreamy brainstorming from a French chateau or a few minutes at the computer in a million-dollar New York City penthouse. In reality, she’s up before the sun, putting words on the page before her kids wake up for the day. Those early-morning and late-night writing sessions add up, and Lacy has published fifty books in almost a decade, first with a big five publisher and then as an indie author. When she needs to refill the well, you can find Lacy birdwatching, gardening, biking with the kiddos, or walking the dog. Kissing Kelsey is a contemporary cowboy love story and Book 1 in the Triple H Brides series
I enjoyed the clean content, a genuine nice guy H, and the dual povs. However, I did not appreciate the h constantly pushing away the H or the running away she kept on doing. She really annoyed me, to be honest. All the stars are for the writing and the H.
3.5 - Good book Cute and clean I didn't really connect with the characters and felt this story wasn't lacking originality and had been told before. However, I'd still pick up another book by this author and will likely read the others in the series.
6. Book 6: Kissing Kelsey: 3 stars I purchased a copy of the novella Kissing Kelsey: Kelsey and Matt in the Cowboy Fairytales books 1-10 boxset by Lacy Williams and this review was given freely. Provides glimpses into the disintegrating relationship of Carrie’s best friend veterinarian Sarah Campbell and, of a friend from high school, ranch hand Chase’s feelings for Carrie. 8. Book 8: Stealing Sarah: 4 stars I purchased a copy of the novella Stealing Sarah: Sarah and Chase in the Cowboy Fairytales books 1-10 boxset by Lacy Williams and this review was given freely. A tension filled sequel with some violence, the themes of abandonment, foster care and reduced sense of self- worth which are blended with Sarah and Chase’s friends to more romance and, with glimpses into her sister Kayla’s unsettled life. Book 9: Keeping Kayla: 4 stars I purchased a copy of the novella Keeping Kayla: Kayla and Nate in the Cowboy Fairytales books 1-10 boxset by Lacy Williams and this review was given freely. A short fast paced story containing wonderful characters and some drama. A bombing caused sergeant Matt to have blackness and a headache trying to figure out who he was. A mirror gave no answer, being sent home, would that. Awaiting him at the airport, a painful thought was that Kelsey The high school prom, words of love he told her, and encouraged her to go for her dreams. Memories at least for him, for her the pain she caused everyone, and him, when she left. To settle her mother’s estate and she would be leaving again, back to Houston, and decided what to do with her life. A powerful story of healing for both of them, and for families and friends of the pain and hurt done ten years ago. The chance of a second time for romance and home. Readers will love Matt and Kelsey from the first pages, and want to see how they go forward in their lives, alone or together.
Matt and Kelsey have a sweet second chance romance story. He returns from being injured overseas with no memories of his life. Upon returning his ex girlfriend has picked him up from the airport. He remembers her but not the fact that she broke his heart when she graduated. They seem to reconnect even though she has so many issues to deal with including what to do with her life since she will no longer be competing in the Olympics. What happens when he remembers the whole story?
Audiobook: Another sweet and clean entry in this series of novellas.

He doesn't remember that she left him brokenhearted. Can she help heal him? Can he help her find direction for her life. You will want to read all of Lacy Williams books after you read this one.
2.5 stars Intriguing plot idea that wasn't executed very well. The beginning was good, but I could never connect with the characters. Because the book was so short, things resolved too quickly. Overall, it felt unrealistic and underdeveloped, especially with plot lines that were introduced but never explored.
The 6th book in this series sees Matt, the wounded military brother of Gideon now married to his princess and living in their kingdom, home from war. Whew!! That was a mouthful. Lol! Anyway, Matt has amnesia and can't remember anything except when he sees he's ex-girlfriend. They restart a relationship and the story goes from there.
This is breathtaking story with amazing characters about second chance and love and understanding plus a lot of forgiveness for others and yourself amazing book must read.
I don’t know how Lacy puts a whole story in such a short book, but this one’s not missing anything! I’m looking forward to listening to the rest of the short audiobooks which are roughly 2 hours apiece!
Matt is coming home after being injured. He has amnesia. Someone is suppose to pick him up at the airport. Kelsey is helping her sisters friend pick up the love of her life at the airport. He recognizes here but forgot the hurt.
Characters decent but some POVs are used solely for setting up next in series, so it opened plot lines it intentionally didn't finish, which makes a reader feel cheated. Ending resolved too quickly.
Matt has come home with amnesia! And he's forgotten the girl who left him and broke his heart! Only now she's back and he only remembers the part where he lives her! Great story! Great read!
This book is a great love story between two people who have rediscovered their lost past. What time will allow both to find their true feelings for themselves and each other.
High school sweethearts are reunited. One has no memories and the other has too many memories. Can they work together and find happiness? Sweet love story.
