Some of the best ways to learn about Los Angeles Rams football history is to visit JT-SW.com, go on YouTube, and of course read Game of My Life Rams by author Jay Paris.
Some of the things I appreciated about this book, was the oral testimonies of various players who wore the gold and blue and Paris' humor and knowledge of Rams football history.
I would say my favorite chapter in this book was the Mike Lansford chapter. He went through a lot of mental and physical drama to become what he became, which was a solid nine-year career kicker for the Rams. When you finish that chapter you will come away with more appreciation for what kickers do. I've always appreciated kickers and punters since I was a kid, but I gained more appreciation for what those positions go through from high school to the pros.
Pros of this book: This book had a flow that allowed you the reader to just fly through the pages. You got history, humor, objective writing, and some photos in this book. What more could you want from a 195-page football history book?
Cons of this book: The only gripe I have with this book is that a chapter with Jackie Slater should have been included in the book. It's hard to write a complete Los Angeles Rams historical text without Jackie Slater in it.
In conclusion, if you want a solid text on Los Angeles Rams football history then you should buy this book.

In typical Rams fashion, many of these "games of my life" involve the Rams losing. This was a present from my 7-yr-old daughter, who knows that Daddy really loves books and really likes the Rams, and thus set out to find a gift that combined the two. Unlike the Rams so much of the time, she was victorious in the end.
