I loved this story but I felt like something was missing from the plot of the story.

This book is the story of Tommy Pickles' first cold. The grown-ups all rally around Tommy and try a bunch of different tactics to make him feel better. Tommy overheard Grandpa Lou say that Tommy caught a "bug" at the park. Tommy and his friends then search for the "bug" around the house. Tommy thinks that if he finds the "bug" and lets it go he will feel better. The babies find a bug, release it and, Tommy begins to get over his cold. Overall this was a cute, nostalgic, and fun read.

I used to watch this show all the time when it first came out. I got my daughter interested in the show and she seemed to enjoy it. I found this gem in a used book store and HAD to pick it up. The book has the same elements as the show and my daughter and I enjoyed the story.

I thought that this was a cute book. it made me chuckle at the thought of a kid looking for an actual bug. I would recommend this book to others.
