Again, I loved the autumnal/winter feel of the book. This book had some good minor characters. The heroine is taking care of her former mother-in-law in a small New England town. The main character is extremely wealthy but has changed her name and works as a children's book illustrator, keeping a low profile. She went through a bad divorce, and her ex-husband has moved across the country, and thus, she is taking care of his mother. The heroine meets the hero when a burglar alarm system set up by his company goes off. Sparks fly, and interestingly, they have a one-night stand very early in the book instead of the usual slow burn, and then are on/off for the remainder of the book. Once the "secret" of her wealth comes out, the hero develops a huge chip on his shoulder, but a hero-like moment during a bank robbery leads to their reconciliation. Pretty standard book, but sweet, autumn read.
