Murder strikes again in the small town of Berry Cove. Dana Sweet, part time mystery riddles blogger who has inherited the Cozy Cupcakes Café from her late grandmother, is once again drawn into a strange murder with a bizarre twist.
The Holiday spirit is in the air as the Mayor gets ready to host Berry Cove’s Annual Christmas Banquet, but when the notorious town gossip columnist Shags Morefield is found dead holding a raspberry filled cupcake from the Cozy Cupcakes Café, all fingers point to Dana’s cousin Katie who’d been the recent subject of her local gossip. Will Dana be able to figure out who’s trying to frame her cousin in time?
I have to say, this series is addicting in the most good ways! I dislike, how there are a few typo errors, but again, not enough to complain, but enough to drop a ⭐ (kindle version). I named my baby rabbit, after the cat, so I highly recommend reading these!!!
Cozy, Romance, Murder, Riddle Solving, Mystery, Hot Detective, Bakery, winter setting and A very helpful ginger kitty 🩷🍂🌧️
This is a fun, entertaining read. The characters are interesting, relatable, intriguing, entertaining and complex. I enjoy the main character in this series and the role she plays in solving the mystery. The romance adds to my enjoyment. The mystery is fun read and try and solve along the way. The story is easy to read and get into.
This is the 6th book I've read in the series and they have all been fine for the most part. But after the fourth time I rolled my eyes over a sappy and/or annoying comment, I decided to deduct a star. Maybe I'm just cranky, but it was just too much.
This was a quick read to finish off my 2025 year of reading. I thought I knew who the killer was but was surprised at the reveal. This is a cozy series that I enjoy between other longer reads since they’re so short.
It was fine for what it is. I don't really like cozy mysteries, but I needed one for a reading challenge that had to take place at Christmas and this was the shortest one I could find on Libby.
