I received a copy of this book directly from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Sigh. I can’t even with this book. I wanted to like it—I really did—and I did manage to finish it… but this is what I’d call a fluff book. It had plot, characters, conflict… but entirely lacked any sort of grounding. As much as I liked the main characters, their romance and the overall arch of the story, the dialogue, actions, and decisions of the characters were so ridiculously unbelievable that it ruined the book for me.
The worst perpetrator of this was the father of the main female lead, who talked like an old mob-boss. He was so over-the-top dramatic all the time that he made me want to roll my eyes. His dialogue was some of the most unrealistic I’ve ever read.
I don’t know if the author just rushed through this book in order to get it published as quickly as possible, or what—but it was definitely sub-par to the sort of care and craft I generally look for in a romance.
If you’re just looking for a fun, quick read to while away the time, this book is probably fine… but it’s not something I’d pick up if there were any other romance book within arm’s reach. I expected more.

Cassidy has lead a very sheltered life. Her dad is the President of the Motorcycle group Oblivion's Edge and has kept her away from that life. His second in command, Conner has fought his attraction for Cassidy for years. Her dad has ordered him to stay away from Cassidy and he doesn't want her pulled into that lifestyle.
There is an attempt to abduct Cassidy and Conner saves her. Her father orders Conner to take her to a safe house and guard her until they can get the situation resolved. There is only so long that Conner can fight his attraction for Cassidy. Especially when she's let him know that she's very attracted to him.
I love books that you can actually picture the story going on around you and that is exactly what this story did for me.
I could visualize Cassidy's attempted abductions and Conner riding in for the rescue. I could visualize the bar fights.
This is a very well written book that I really enjoyed.

Sinful Vices by Heather West is a quick, motorcycle club romance.
It features the story of Cassidy and Connor. Cassidy is the daughter of motorcycle club President, Slate. She has promised her dad to stay away from his second in command, Connor.
Connor is one of Slate's most trusted man but, wherever his daughter is concerned, he's to keep his hands off. Like we all know, we want what we can't have and when some unfortunate circumstances throw them together, temptation does what it does best and everything changes.
If you've ever read any MC novels, you will enjoy this. It embodies the typical issues involved within a motorcycle club (at least from what I've read. I wouldn't know from actual experience.)
If MC novels are new to you, sit back and enjoy the drama.

Connor has loved his life as a part of the MC. In fact, in more ways than one it has saved his life. When he is put in charge of hiding Cassidy, he is beside himself. He could have any woman he wants, but her. Will he risk it all to be with the one he shouldn't want?
Heather West has done a great job of entertaining me. I enjoyed watching what happened between Cassidy and Connor. I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Another MC hit by Heather West. Cassidy is off limits to Connor. Cassidy is the MC presidents very sheltered daughter. Connor is in training to take over the MC when the president steps down. He has sworn to stay away from Cassidy. Then fate steps in and throws them together. He must protect her from rival MC members. This book is full of steamy hot sex and packed with lots of suspense and action. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and reading as fast as you can until the end.

He has to have the one woman forbidden to him. She's always wanted him, but her father says he's off limits. Once the first kiss happens, there's no stopping them. I really like all of this author's different MC stories.

Good MC romance with right amounts of gritty, drama and sex but just a lot of inter dialogue for me. Told in both p.o.v. but there is a chapter that is in Slayers words like in a prayer. Like most others when Connor first chapter comes up he is with a club girl but afterwards after saving Cassidy the first time he don't cheat and they all do get a HEA.
Forbidden MC romance - Connor the second in command of Oblivion Edge MC. Cassidy the only daughter of Slayer the president of O.E. they been warned away from each other for years but her life is in danger so daddy has to drop the rule for his girl to be protected by the only other guy he trust, to an extent. Cass was sheltered from anything dealing with the club, he never even swore in front of her, but he wasn't always around for her younger days especially when Cass was bedside with her dying mother when she passed on from lung cancer, that's when daddy stepped up and became a father and pushed her. Through school and into college he pushed for her to graduate and become a teacher. To Slayer, Connor will never be good enough since he is a 'murderous ba$tard', hence keeping them away from each other. Only lasted until her life was in danger and Connor and Cassidy went into hiding, feelings came forth and took over, but the danger isn't far away waiting in the wings.

Sinful Vices, Connor is told to protect his MC Presidents daughter at any cost. The one rule is that he cannot pursue any kind of relationship with her and has to keep his hands to himself. This became harder than Connor ever thought possible. Cassidy is a sheltered girl, Even though her father is the president of Oblivions Edge MC he has kept her in the dark. It isn't until she is being targeted for kidnapping that she really finds out what the MC is all about. Along with falling head over heals for Connor. Connor tries with everything he can to deny his attraction to Cassidy, but it just becomes to much and he realizes he is deeply in love with Cassidy.

SINFUL VICES is a dark side MC story about Connor (VP of the club) and Cassidy (Daddy's sheltered princess). Connor has had the hots for Cassidy since the first time he laid eyes on her. Cassidy has had a thing for Connor all along. Daddy (the Prez) laid down the law long and hard she is a "no touch PERIOD" zone. The enemy strikes and Connor is charged with protecting her, a lot easier said than done. Strike two and things get intense at the hideout. The action steps up when Daddy gets wind of what might be going on. In true MC fashion everything blows up and bodies fall. Can he protect her against all odds ? Is she smart enough to keep it together to stay alive? What price will they have to pay? Definitely an enticing read that you won't want to put down.

received an ARC at no cost from the author. it took me a bit to get into the story as it was similar to other MC books but nonetheless I liked it. Cassidy, a college student and also daughter of Oblivion Edges president, is in love with her farthers 1st in command, Connor, a blue eyed hottie. Connor has always had a thing for Cassidy but she was off-limits bc of who she was. However, that changes when Cassidys life is in danger and he is tasked to watch her. Easier said than done. Cassidy cant concentrate when shes around connor and all connor wants to do it take her. Cassidy, being stubborn, decides to leave the hideout only attempted to be kidnapped once again. Connor saves the day and kisses her. Confusing as it is for Cass, she is excited by the possibility with being with connor. one thing leads to another and they are enveloped in an affair...secret due to her father. What will happen if her father finds out? will cassidy ever be safe? will connor tell cassidy how he feels? will he die trying to keep her safe??

The title warns that it’s a dark read, and it was. Cassidy was sheltered from the life her dad lived as president of Oblivion’s Edge MC, but it didn’t keep her from noticing the second-in-command, Conner. When a situation puts Cassidy and Conner together, more than just sparks fly.
I enjoy Author Heather West’s writing. Attention to detail but not overly. There was graphic violence, sex and heart stopping moments. It kept me flipping the Kindle pages until I was done, well after midnight. For the overall writing, I give it 5 stars. For the amount of explicit sex and lack of characters relationship development, I give it a 3 star rating. If you like MC and dark, this is a definite read!

I am leaving an honest review on an advanced readers copy of this book Sinful Vices by Heather West. Wow!!!!This book will take you on on heck of a ride. If you love MC stories then Connor and Cassidy's story will take you for the ride of your life. Heather West did an amazing job with this story.

Heather is back at with a kicka** MC story. A forbidden romance, a Romeo and Juliet within the MC. If you enjoy MC books then Sinful Vices is worth reading. Heather will take you on one hell of a wild ride. I love Connor and Cassidy's characters and the chemistry they have between them. I hope there will be more of The Oblivion Edge MC.
