This was a guilty pleasure! I am fascinated by the celebrity alternative universe and Kelly Brook certainly delivers an insight into it. I must admit I felt rather detached from her in a way that I don't with the memoirs of a certain other ex glamour model. This may be down to the ghost writer's style or maybe that I never felt Kelly lets the reader in. I really enjoyed the earlier sections about her teen years and home life but the later sections were rather distant. I also found the blasé mentioning of hitting her exes very strange. I did enjoy the book but it seemed to end rather abruptly. Maybe this was to leave the reader eager for book two?

Quite enjoyed this, more than I thought I would!

I think it illustrates again, that we often judge someone easily.

She hasn't had an easy life, and it seems that she is often pigeon-holed. But judging by the longevity of her career and her financial status, she clearly is doing something right.

It was intriguing also to read about her relationship with Billy Zane.

So like most my introduction to Kelly was through her film Survivor Island or Three as it was commonly known. I liked her autobiography and liked the writing style as well. I am not sure about the trend in the UK wherein you would get autobiographies of people in their 20s or 30s but if it makes for a nice read then why not and probably that's the draw.

We know about Kelly's humble beginning and her struggles to move forward despite the biases against her and the choices she made. There were detailed reports about her different relationships and despite nothing working for her, Kelly still goes about her business. I wish her all the best.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

I became more of a fan of Kelly's from seeing her on Celebrity Juice. She comes across as real and down to earth.
The book is a nice inside to her journey through the celebrity world. She has been through some tough times yet still comes out smiling and determined to continue. A true fighter in love and work!
I also love the fact that she smacked Jason Statham! That made me chuckle out loud!!! I like him but that was funny.
