If You Fight is a great continuation of Serena and Ryder’s love story that started in If I Dream. It’s definitely not a standalone. I’ve been dying to read this book after the shocking cliffhanger and some events in If I Dream. I’ve loved this part more than the previous part. I desperately need the final part, because that cliffhanger was again huge! I’m not going say anything about the plot, because I don’t want to give away something.
When I started this book, I hoped that the relationship between Serena and Ryder would be easier. I was rooting for Serena and Ryder to be together from the start in If I Dream and that they would be happy. They had been through so much at a young age and they deserved some happiness. Things were a little better for them in this book, but there are still a few twists and turns that shocked me. I didn’t want to stop reading, because I needed to know more about Ryder and Serena’s love story.
I love Serena and Ryder. They are both strong, determined and fighters. Ryder would do anything for Serena. He can’t wait to free Serena and really be together. He loves Serena and wants a future with her. Serena goes through a difficult period, but she has Ryder and she also knows what she wants for her future. She wants to be him and only him, and she’s determined to make that happen. As much as I love Ryder and Serena, so much I hate Serena’s dad. That man is so evil and bad.

First off all, If You Fight is a continuation of If I Dream, picking up right where it ends. So if you haven’t read that yet, please stop and go get it.
All I have to say is that Ryder and Serena have the worst luck. They have fought so hard to be together and anything and everything that you can think of gets thrown at them. Serena’s father is one sick guy and he’s doing everything in his power to keep them apart.
I’m not going to recap anything. I really want you guys to experience it and be surprised. There are a few twists and turns in here but the biggest part is that Ryder and Serena continue to face obstacles that get in the way. These two just have pure love for each other and it’s refreshing to see how hard they fight and how open they are with each other.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and I’m excited to see where the rest of Ryder and Serena’s story goes. If you like an all consuming love with suspense and angst, then this is the series for you. I really think you’ll like both Ryder and Serena. Although they have a lot of dark in their life, both of them are the light needed for the other.

Oh wow! Just wow! Can my heart break any more than it has since I have been reading this series. Talk about when it rains it pours. Serena and Ryder just can not get a break in this hateful world that they are trapped in. If You Fight gives you a little more hope in their future. We start off where we left off with If You Dream and Serena has lost her baby. Oliver is just a monster and after what has happened to his wife, he still treated Serena badly
I love the passion that both Ryder and Serena have for each other. They will start a fire within the sheets from their bed. And WOW some one needs to keep watch! But in all honesty, we still seem to have a long way to go. I have no idea if these two will ever get their happily ever after. That is why I am a huge fan of K.M. Scott. Because she keeps you on your toes and you can not be sure how the story will turn out. Because of that I am forever grateful to her.
Serena and Ryder live a life that is controlled. They have no say to what they want to do. That is the sad part. They have a beautiful estate that they live on. But all in all they live in a prestigious prison. I promise you, this series holds your heart in a vice grip. You are holding on to hope. The ending killed me and I am hoping book three gives us closure. Get this book now! You need to continue on this journey <3

"If You Fight" is the second book in the Corrupted Love trilogy and since it is a continuation of the story of Ryder and Serena, you must read "If I Dream" first. This book picks up where the first book left off, and the two characters are still trying to get away from Oliver and out of the life that Serena's father has forced upon them. Robert, her father, the man with the crocodile smile is pure evil, corrupt, nasty, overbearing, egotistical, basically just a maniac. If you cross him, you pay, it's just that simple. I sure hope K.M. Scott makes him pay in the final book in this trilogy, I am so looking forward to that. Every time Serena and Ryder plan to leave her father's world behind, something happens to make them stay. By the last chapter in this book I thought I had figured out what was going to happen, but it didn't play out the way I thought, and now I find myself anxiously awaiting the next book. So many things are left to be resolved and I so want that book right now, lol. Awesome book, just be prepared for all the emotions it will wring out of you. Although I could feel Serena getting stronger and making decisions on her own, I still wanted to shake some sense into her, and tell her "no" don't believe him again, get out while you can. And poor Ryder, all he wants to do is to protect her and love her for the rest of his life.
This is the kind of book that stays with you long after the last page is read, it is loaded with suspense, tension, angst and passion. When Serena and Ryder are alone together it is easy to forget the emotional roller coaster ride that they are on and I found myself rooting for their forbidden love.

This continues the forbidden romance of Ryder and Serena, and picks up straight after If I Dream left off.
Serena is fixated on revenge and has completely changed from he first book. She's harder, tougher and more calculating. Ryder is supporting her in her quest for revenge, he's also changed becoming more defiant.
The pain Serena and Ryder is going through is heartbreaking, they have to hide their pain which is so tough.
The twists and turns in this are simply brilliant, they keep you completely hooked at the edge of your seat wanting to know what is going to happen next.
This is part of a trilogy and after that cliffhanger I can't wait for the final part of the trilogy. I'm excited to see what happens in the conclusion of Serena and Ryder's story.

Didn't realize when I sat down to read this was the second book in a trilogy or series. But I have to give kudos to K.M. Scott, I really don't feel lost. But by chapter 3, I'm still trying to figure out what "The Pit" is and what kind of place Serena and Oliver live in or exactly what role Ryker plays in her father's company or what daddy does.
If You Fight is really well written, but the further I into it, I continued to feel like I was missing something. Well, I am, since I've read the second book before the first. I really like Ryder, but Serena annoyed the dickens out of me. I can't begin to understand wanting to go back to a bad situation, VERY willingly. The whole wanting revenge on Oliver, while still seeing Ryder on the side, was just something I couldn't get into. But if I had read this from the beginning, I might have a slightly different opinion. Like I said, really well written, but just a book I really couldn't get into.
If You Fight is really well written, but the further I into it, I continued to feel like I was missing something. Well, I am, since I've read the second book before the first. Even better than the first, If you Fight is the second book in the Corrupted Love Trilogy and can't be read as a standalone, as it continues the story of Serena and Ryder.
I seriously love KM Scott's books. Her writing is clean and she knows exactly how to keep you focused in the story, wanting more and more!
It starts exactly where If you Dream ended, with everyone in the hospital after Serena been attacked and her moment alone with Ryder it's extremely emotional.
Serena starts coming stronger as the story develops, surprising everyone around her. I like this Serena, a lot.! She will start looking for her mother, needing to know exactly what happened to her.
Ryder continues to be hurt by Robert, a ruthless, unkind man that only sees himself, don't caring about anyone around him unless it gives him the upper hand. Robert will again, threat everything in Ryder's life, almost destroying him.
Serena and Ryder finally come forward as a couple, strong and in love, making Robert vicious in breaking them apart.
This man deserves a thousand deaths!! I wish KM Scott will make him suffer in If We Fall, because I cant stand him anymore!
There's a lot of secrets being revealed in this story. There's a lot more left I'm sure, and I have no doubt that the last book will bring joy and happiness to this wonderful couple.

What????????
I can't believe the book ended like that.
This series pulled me in from the first book but the second book gets better and better.
I can't believe a father can treat his family the way Robert Erickson does this man is definitely a true psychopath!!!!
Ryder and Serena life together just keeps getting thrown back to stage one by the evil Nasty games Serena's dad loves to play and everyone in his world has to suffer and bend to his will for face very severe consequences and no one can get away from them even his own daughter!!!
This book is bringing out a torrid amount of emotions from me as I turn every page and keeps me wondering what will happen next and prying that these two get a break.
I can't wait to read the third book in this series but a word of warning this book has a cliffhanger ending.

This book will keep you entranced until the last page, wanting to see what was going to happen next. Can't wait for the last book in this series and I REALLY hope her dad gets what's coming to him.

Ohhhh does Serena and Ryder’s story get more and more twisted in this second book! While there were times I really wanted to smack Serena, I do have to remember how young these characters really are and how much they have to grow up. So there is quite the mix of being young but old at the same time with these two.
This book starts up right where the first left off. I have to say I was pulled in deeper into this world that Scott created. The turmoil and pain that Serena and Ryder have to endure in order to be with each other is heartbreaking. There were just the right amount of twists in this one and the passion that these two share is off the charts. I found myself unable to put it down because I REALLY needed to know what happened next. For some reason I can also really picture Serena’s father. That really twisted man with that creepy grin… I hate to say it but I can totally picture Matthew McConaughey with that grin. That kind of persona that Robert exudes is just creepy and downright scary! And what he puts those two through!

If You Fight is the second book in the Corrupted Love Trilogy. This book picks up right were If I Dream leaves off. Serena recovers from Oliver's attacked and starts plotting her revenge. Ryder still pays for his mistakes he makes with Robert (Serena's father). When they seem to think they will be able to spend the rest of their lives together Robert makes sure who knows he's in control. With so many twists and turns my emotions were all over the place with this book. I loved ever bit of the emotional roller-coaster that KM took me on. Must Read Trilogy!!!

I heart Ryder so much! He is so devoted to Serena and would do anything for her. He just makes my heart melt.
If You Fight picks up right were If I Dream leaves off. Serena has been injured and Ryder saves her life...again. But what I couldn't wrap my heart around is the moment she decided she wanted to play with the big dogs and seek revenge instead of just getting it all out in the open.
Serena's naivety got to me on more than one occasion. She was sweet and loving, but had not a mean bone in her body, so revenge was just never in the cards for her. She's surrounded by too many alphas to even be on an equal playing field. Poor thing. But I do give her an E for Effort.
My poor sweet Ryder. The man just wants to love and be loved and Serena is his soulmate, but he has loyalty to a man that pulled him into a better life working against him. That loyalty keeps him from truly standing firmer to fight for the love he and Serena have developed. And her father knows this and is practically on a mission to make it as difficult as possible for them to be together.
I can't wait to get to the end of their story and see how it all plays out. I'm really rooting for them to have their moment of riding into the sunset together. They both deserve it so freaking much.

Holy hell! Just when I think okay.... Ryder and Serena will get their HEA I am wrong again. SOOOO much going on with this book. Lots of high tensions, lots of angst, plenty of hot Ryder. (LIKE A LOT) I loved it. It literally had all the feels.
Ryder. Good lawd this man! Can I have him? Cause he is perfect. Well, I think so anyway. When everything and everyone is against him he fights until he can fight no more to protect whats his. LOVE THIS! Hes a protector. Hes charming, and honest.
Serena. Sometimes I wanted to hug her, and other times I wanted to punch her. Just when she has the chance to get away from her Dad she decides to stay. I understand why she did, but DAMN! I wanted her out so bad. I wanted to go pull her away from the crazy and shake her.
This was a great read. And I cant wait for the last book. I am left wondering what will happen and how they will make it! Or even IF they will make it. Please hurry on book three and put me out of my misery.

Amazing! Ryder and Serena's story continues right where book 1 end and it keeps you on the edge of seat.This book is so intense, emotional, full of drama and love. My heart breaks for this beautiful couple and I truly can't wait to read the next book in the trilogy. I received an advance readers copy of this book.

this is the second book in the Corrupt series, we pick up right were book one stops. This book is packed with so much, emotion and action. Ryder isn't backing down he's fighting for what's his and that's Serena, but it took Serena almost being killed by her husband to realize she must act now. damn I can't wait to see what's in store for these two.

Robert revels in the fact that no one can stop him if he decides to destroy them. If You Fight is Serena and Ryder's fight to get out from under Robert's control. They know that they need to do it together and hope their love will set them free. If You Fight is a beautiful love story of two people who just want to be together. They just hope their love and devotion to each other is stronger then the evil trying to keep them apart. Both Serena and Ryder show the strength they have to fight to stay together. K.M. Scott writes with such passion, you can't help but feel the story. Looking forward to the finale of this Series.

A good continuation of the first book. In the beginning it was a little slow but quickly picked up. It was necessary to lay the foundation giving the book a good amount of angst and suspense. The characters were en point. Each character made you love or hate them. A fast race for freedom and happiness left me holding my breath! Book was gifted to me.

Four words. You can kill me!!!!! This author is so evil. Her ending for book one was so good and damn STRONG. No one wants to be separate from the one they love. Overall I love the ending for book 2. I started that ask why this keeps happening to me. But I guess it is a good thing, because I would not be reading awesome books by K.m Scott.
I just tried to make it last forever. If I just read a little a day, it will last longer. But I could not get enough of Serena and Ryder. I was happy Oliver died. I mean he killed the baby and wanted Serena to go. Now if only something could happen to Robert. And I hope it does since he ordered the hit on Serena's mom. Then Jesse shot Ryder!!!! This can't be happening. And the wait continues.

If you fight is the second book in the series. I have been waiting for this one the first book was amazing and this one was even better. Ryder and Serena are still struggling for a feature together but her father has other plans that doesn't involve happiness. It was a fantastic read I couldn't put it down I was hoping for the best. It was so exciting and so sad. Now I have to wait again for the last book and I can't wait not with that ending so please hurry

This is quite a read!! This book has all the love, thrilling and suspense you can handle. I could not put this book down! K.m Scott you have done it again. It is a great book! I highly recommend this book, the series and this author. She is one of a kind and very gifted.

This is the second book in the Corrupted Love series. If you have not read the first book in the series then you need to read that one first before moving on to this one, as it is NOT A STANDALONE. If You Fight is a continuation of Serena and Ryder's story. If you have not read it or my review I ask you to do that first before continuing on.
Alrighty roo, I am not about spoilers so I can't go too much into detail about this book but I was so excited that I got to continue on with this one because after that last cliffhanger I NEEDED to see what was going to happen. I have to say that the way K.M. wrote these characters you can see the emotion pouring through the pages. When an author can make me feel emotions that the characters are going through then I know I will enjoy the book.
Ryder and Serena are fighters, I could see how much they loved one another. Faced with obstacles they never gave up. The characters have grown and changed from the first book but not in a way that is bad, it is more of a determination. Oh, and can I just tell you the Dad....man I thought I disliked him before... that man had me like...
I am really enjoying this series and can't wait to see where Ryder and Serena's journey ends. The twist and turns coupled with my anxiety over the entire thing makes me want to keep reading. LOL

Her husband figures it out and becomes abusive. She's found at bottom of stairs bleeding and taken to hospital. Her father suspects but Serena thinks she can use this as leverage for divorce. When things only get worse, they take matters in own hands. There are always consequences with her father. The only question is what will it be this time?

If You Fight by K.M. Scott......5 Continuation Stars!!! Wow, Serena and Ryder story continues and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is one of my favorite series ever, K.M. Scott, knows how to suck the readers into the story and keeps you wanting more. Again the book is packed with, action, angst, family, love and Sexy times. I can't wait for the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
