The first time I saw her, she was buck naked and mad as hell.

Things went a little crazy after that.

Ivy Kincaide. Full, lush breasts, standing at attention as my eyes devour them. Creamy, smooth skin. A petite waist leading to curvy hips, and a round, pert ass that makes me ache to sink my fingers into the flesh and pull her onto my hard, waiting c*ck.

She also just happens to be my new next-door neighbor.

I just moved to Springville to start my first season as wide receiver for the Rockets. As luck would have it, the condo I’m renting is right next door to a straight-laced grad student who hardly ever pulls her nose out of a book. But there’s just something about Ivy – and not just her smoking hot body. It’s like I’m eight years old and wanna pull her pigtails just to see her stomp her feet at me. She’s wound up tighter than a rubber band. But the way her ass shimmies when she stalks away from me tells me there’s a completely different girl underneath.

And nothing’s gonna stop me from finding out.

The Player Next Door is a STANDALONE, full-length novel with steamy scenes, no cliffhanger, and guaranteed HEA.

USA Today bestselling author of alpha males, feisty females, and smoking hot romance.

Small town girl in the big city. Incurable romantic. Hopeless optimist in a realist's body.

Owned by two cats.

A sucker for a bad boy with a soft center.

If you recall I, 1st read Zone Blitz, never had picked up a copy of one of Daphne's read before and was immediately hooked, I wrote her on FB and she said Snap Court is free right this minute on Amazon, so I jumped over there and grabbed it up. Did you notice that sentence I just wrote??! I said I wrote the author?? WHAT?? I still am totally amazed when authors take the time to read their readers, if you do that, u r truly a great author, I know you gotta be busy ...we all are, but to take the time and say a few words that is priceless!! love that!! Such a fan. There are 3 books in the series. So this is #2 ...I will be checking out the others asap!! Gotta a lot of books on the TBR list ...but I will get there. Such a quick read, hot & steamy. Sport addict, you will love this one. Such a great read. Check it out!! ( ;

The story started out fun. when Ivy and Knox meet it proves to be an embarrassing moment for Ivy. she is naked in the kitchen. Knox likes what he sees, but Ivy thinks he is a jerk. I thought it was funny, Ivy not so much. she is determined not to like him. Ivy is a graduate student and studying is her hobby. she is a little uptight and sheltered. Knox is the new wide receiver for the local NFL team. He is fun and adventurous. with a little charm her gets Ivy to loosen up and start living beyond her studies. The only problem they have is football. He loves it and she only sees the danger in the plays. It does cause some angst and turmoil between them. In the end both characters grow and make sacrifices for the other.

This one was cute and sweet and relatable and the breakup did not feel contrived at all! It was very logical that the two would clash the way they did, so I am glad that it was done the way it was! I loved Ivy, though, girl, I cannot believe that you were walking around someone else's apartment buck naked...like, cool, I get you are house sitting for them but still... 😂 I loved Knox so much. He didn't really have anything about him that I disliked! Though, why you just walking into a naked lady's living space like that, bro?

I love Daphne’s work. Her writing flows so effortlessly making it so easy to read.
Our alpha - He’s gorgeous, cheeky, daring and blown away by her from their first unconventional meeting. She’s guarded, studious and unimpressed with him at their first meeting. Fab interaction between the characters, very enjoyable read.

Loved It!!!!

I really enjoyed this book. Ivy's looking after a friends condo & his dog. Next door is empty so Ivy doesn't have to worry about what she wears or doesn't wear. What she doesn't realize is that a hot & sexy man has moved in next door. I love this author & can't wait to read more of her books. Thanks.

I only read half of the book because it was too much sex, and not enough plot. I know when a lot of people see someone write that in a review, it makes them jump to read that book lol, so by all means have at it. It was just too much for me. I like for there to be more plot, and only a few smutty scenes. There is no slow burn at all in this book. They move super fast.

Good read

It was a good book I'm not a sports romance fan but this was great. It dealt with current new of concussive hits I. contact sports. Identified with the female. Her fear seemed very real but her end discussion with Knox saying love is a risk. And it is.

Good read

I really enjoy reading a good sports romance. This one is a little bit different than most. The jock falls in love with a geeky science girl. Their first meeting will get you hooked.

Another great read!! Ivy and Knox were total opposites but in the end perfect for one another! In the end Ivy found out you can't control love and you can't control the future, you just have to live in the moment. A few grammatical errors but a great read!

Loved it fast pace very entertaining and hot. Love arrogant cocky sports books. Not a lot of drama, just a great plot straight and to the point. No love at first sight but you feel the love building. Knox and ivy book pulls you in and keeps you wanting more. Love the characters .

I liked this one.. I do think romance has been overdone but sometimes we just need it and this is a good one and not a cliffhanger!

Snap Count

Though predictable and stereotypical, I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are believable and the female was not cast as a wimp.

The relationship was very unique in this book and the dog was literally my favorite part. I really loved how she was a neuroscience grad student as well!

Not bad

Not original, but still some entertainment. I liked Knox and Ivy but after reading Rinn and Jake's excerpt, I'm suddenly intrigued.

Football

I didn't think sports romance would be my thing, even though I'm a huge football fan. Daphne Loveling proved me wrong!

Okay read

An okay read, nothing different or outstanding about the story or its characters . Just an okay read that ends a bit abruptly.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book

This is the first book by this author I have read and I LOVED it,

Ivy is staying at her "Uncle's" condo house and dog sitting while finishing up her schooling,
Knox just got to Springville to start his first season as wide receiver for the Rockets
As he is moving in he happens to be on Ivy's balcony and sees a GORGEOUS curvy
redhead walking around naked. I LOVED Ivy and Knox's story and bring in his equally stunning
brother and you have a misunderstanding that almost tears them completely apart.
But OMG the HEA ending is great. I hope we get more from this Team!
