Published in 1994, 'Me 262 - Stormbird Rising' tells the story of Germany's revolutionary jet fighter aircraft of WW2, the Me 262. Development and operational use of the type is well covered, together with some informative short biographies of some of the pilots concerned, and finished with a detailed look at surviving airframes. A lot of excellent photos and some colour profile artworks round of the work. It does also feature almost as many typos as a tabloid newspaper, but read well nevertheless.
Another very brief book, but it did a good job dispelling some of the myths about the 262. Some of the information was presented twice but I suppose that is to be expected from a cut and paste type book like this.
