He needs a nanny and she want’s a baby. What could go wrong?
Liam Foss has many awards under his belt but the most important one is the little girl who calls him Daddy.
When he posts an ad for a full-time nanny he never expects the sinfully delicious and way too young for him Whitney Sky to show up on his doorstep for an interview.
Whitney Sky has wanted the sweet father of one since the moment she saw him pushing a stroller with an adorable little blue eyed girl in it at the park. She know’s better than to fall for someone she can’t have but the vibes Liam’s giving off definitely show he’s interested.
When she lets it slip out that she wants a child but has yet to find the perfect man Liam steps up to the plate. Staking a claim on her and promising to give her a baby and a life she never thought was possible.
-This is a standalone instalove romance novella with an alpha male that takes charge of the woman he loves. It contains sugary sweet love scenes and moments between a baby and her father that will have your ovaries exploding.-

First I can't stand "insta-love" books where 3 pages in the characters are saying "I love you's"....it's just not realistic and kinda cheesy. If there had been more of a back story maybe then I could believe trying to have a baby together, but these two mine as well have been 'sperm & egg donors' meeting for the first time.
Secondly the story seemed to start off 40% into the time line. No back story on either of them, nothing about their families or their past. Why was his family dynamic never given, why not hers? Does he have siblings, heck what exactly is he CEO of!?! So many questions & we get pretty much zero answers.
Thirdly, the book went so fast I felt my head spin. I like some substance to my books, and this was like opening a bag of chips, and when you look in the bag is only 60% full.
Honestly there were some great ideas within the book & I loved his love for his adopted daughter, but that was a real as it got.
I feel bad getting a book to review and giving it 1 star & this review....but these are my thoughts. I got this arc in exchange of a review from the author & I thank her for it.

Another enjoyable, sweet and sexy story from the author. In this book we have a single father (!) yeah i know ..let me add some words in this sentence...Liam means sexy, possessive, single dad who goes all the way for what he wants and guess what.. he wants a nanny but as we'll see soon definitely he wants more a mommy for his sweet adoptive daughter and most specifically he wants Whitney our sweet heroine for that (and many more!!!)
If love stories with insta-love/lust with a sweet quick storyline, characters with great chemistry and also many steamy scenes then look no further this is the perfect story for you!!! Can't wait to see what the author will create next!!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a review.
Babysitting Love is a short novella about a single dad falling in love with the babysitter –or at least that’s what it says in the description. What really happens is slightly different though, since said babysitter never actually works as such. Anyway, I don’t want to give too much away so I’ll jump straight to what I liked and disliked about this novella.
Here’s what I liked:
- The theme: Young, handsome single father (of a cute baby girl) falls in love with the babysitter. When I read the description it made me want to read it immediately. - The main male character: He’s a family-oriented man who’s sweet and attentive. He prefers staying in and spending time with his family. He's actually really sweet. - The sexy times were okay (except for a few word choices that made me cringe a little bit instead of swooning)
Here’s what bothered me: - Insta-love: I don’t hate insta-love per se. I actually don’t mind it when two characters feel an instant deep connection, as long as the relationship they build is not instantaneous. In this case, our two main characters went from “I’ve-been-watching-you-from-a-distance-all-this-time” to “let’s-live-together-an-make-babies” in the span of a day. They don’t build anything. Most of the time when I read a book, the building part of a relationship is what’s more attractive to me. I like to see two characters getting to know each other and learning to love not only the good parts, but also the ugly parts of each other. It makes me gradually fall in love with them as individuals and as a couple. - Despite what says in the description, our main character –Whitney– never actually works for Liam as a babysitter. - The story is supposed to be about a single dad, but there’re hardly any significant interactions between Liam and the baby. I would've loved to see more of them together, maybe Liam handling the difficult parts of being a single parent. - I think the two conflicts we get to see are so random! There’s nothing to tie those events to the story, they come up practically out of the blue. - There is no character development, in fact, the characters felt a little two dimensional in my opinion. Where are the little quirks? The likes and dislikes? The fears, strengths? The little details that make them unique and bring them to life. They are too perfect sometimes (and they tell each other how perfect they think the other is ALL THE TIME!) I think they need some flaws, something to make them feel real and authentic. What makes them tick? I ended up wanting to know so much more about them. Why did Liam decide to adopt? Why did Whitney want a baby and a family of her own so badly? Why didn’t she get along with her family? So many why’s!! The story is really short, but in my opinion despite being short it needs more than just the main storyline. More layers. Something other than just two people starting a relationship and a family. Maybe show a little about our main characters’ backstories, or a conflict in another aspect of their lives, some obstacles to make them develop and grow.
I feel really bad for not liking it, but I understand it is at a very early stage, and who knows? Maybe it can get a lot better after some polishing.
This is an insta-love story and I'm not sure how I felt about it because I was expecting more to be honest. Maybe a more developed story and something along the lines of Alexa Riley.
I received this book as an ARC and this is my first book from author JL Beck.
First and foremost, this is an EXTREMELY short book. I read it in about an hour and a half. Also, the plot doesn't even begin to be remotely possible. That being said, if you are in the mood for a short story, possibly the style of a Lifetime Movie, then check this out.
SPOILER ALERT The book begins with Whitney checking out her neighbor and filling out an email to an online job to be a live in nanny, which just happens to be said neighbor, Liam. An interview is set up for the following day and during the FIRST conversation they have, he tells her he wants her to be Emory's mom and he wants to plant a baby in her womb. FIRST CONVERSATION. Not odd at all, right?! Lol. Naturally, she accepts the position and the book progresses just as quickly.
This book tries to hint on deeper subjects, insecurities Whitney has about herself, an ex-girlfriend of Liam's (this his BESTFRIEND set? Seems highly unlikely of any best friend to me.), family that won't accept her choice, and intimately she ditches her unsupportive family for said man that she just met. Again, she tried but I don't feel like any of these topics were delivered well. They were without context and delivered with extreme rush, as the whole book was.
Unsurprisingly, the book ends when she is pregnant with twin boys and Liam presents Whitney with a ring during breakfast.
You can't really go wrong with this book, it's so short that if you don't like it, you really don't have much invested. Consider it more of a fairy tale/fantasy.

Whitney is a recent college grad looking for a nanny position and Liam is her sexy neighbor with a baby who needs a nanny. Both of them have been lusting after each other for months watching from a far without the other one knowing.
Liam puts a add for a nanny in the paper hoping Whitney will be the one who answers it and low and behold she does not knowing until after the first email it's her sexy neighbor.
Liam has major plans for Whitney that he's hoping she will good with. This was a very fast paced story and instalove very very quickly. I love single dad romances and this one didn't disappoint.
Short sweet safe read. Unrealistic and maybe a bit cheesy, but there were some beautiful moments. I loved his love for his adopted daughter. I liked the heroine even if she was naive, but she could stand up for herself. (And she wasn't a virgin!!! Hurrah!) I didn't understand the drama with her family though. The epilogue was sweet, but I wished it were more than 6 months in the future.
That’s the beauty of love sweetheart. It's not about how a person looks on the outside it's about what they look like on the inside. It’s about their heart and I know damn well how big of a heart you have.
This was my first J.L. Beck read. I love the idea of this book, really I do. However, I had a hard time with the poor editing, the first half of the book anyway, along with the inconsistent details of this story. For example when it states under the chapter header "One Week Later," and it goes on to describe the very next day of the event...yeah, didn't add up. This story felt rushed, more so than the majority of other short stories I've read:(
"Seconds ticked by and she came back strutting in nothing but her panties into my office. Peanut butter in thick slabs across her large tits, and nipples, neck, and throat." So that was a thing... Then there was this from Liam: "I didn’t know if things would line up right for us, hell I didn’t even know if you would respond to the ad all I knew was that I wanted you more than I had any other woman ever.” So his plan for getting her was a random, open ad in the classifieds, and if she didn't respond then, oh well? Way to go for what you want, my man. But how about the fact she was his NEIGHBOR? And apparently had been for an extended length of time. He couldn't walk across the street and start up a conversation --why?? Speaking of being neighbors: Liam is some millionaire CEO guy and Whitney just graduated college, needed a job, and lived by herself. How in the world could she afford to be on the same block as Liam, much less his neighbor? Liam is supposedly older, but I never saw where any age difference was made clear. Their characteristics seemed to be on the same level though... Liam, a single guy, ADOPTED a BABY!!!!! In what world is that even likely, or possible? I mean, all the author had to do was make it PLAUSIBLE. She's his niece and her parents die. Or, he's her godfather, and again, the parents die, leaving instructions in their will for Liam to raise her. Ta-da! A plausible scenario a reader can buy into. Well. Well, well, well, well. WELL! Pardon me, I just had to get that out. Every time the author meant to use the word "well", the word "while" was used instead. It drove me crazy. This was a fairly common error throughout, though - an incorrect word in place of another, causing confusion. And as if that weren't enough, commas were in all the wrong places, making reading even more annoying; commas missing where they should be, or placed where they shouldn't. Overall, a terrible read with nothing going for it, plot wise or grammatically. :/
Is this serious? How in the world does it have 5 star reviews. Now.... I'm a writer myself and I know that harsh words hurt. But this... this isn't insta-love, it's delusion. The dialogue was TERRIBLE... The only people I gave any credit to, was Whitney's parents... Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Liam and I love you and want you to be my daughter's mommy based on your resume. Also, I want you to be pregnant right now and I want to talk about how I want to make you pregnant and not let you down. I want to put a baby in you right this second. Let's get started, shall we? Cut to a week or two later, we're pregnant and you're everything I ever wanted, even though I've known for 7 minutes! The end! Blah
This was my 1st book by this author. I was gifted an ARC to read. For starters this book was SHORT. It took me less than an hour to read it. Extremely rushed. I feel like it has the potential to be a good book if it actually had more BOOK. More story. I gave it 2 stars because of the potential. But all in all I really didn't love how the story didn't really follow along with the blurb of the book. I didn't love how impossible most of the story seemed. And I didn't love the way that the entire book seemed to be about "planting his seed" in her. Do people actually say that?! So unrealistic.
This is a very short read stops at 50%, I know novella are short reads but what do you call a very very short novella. The writing is very amateurish, I would never have guessed this person has several books out. I didn't care to waste anymore time reading the rest of the other story and I hate when they do that. I didn't find anything appealing about this story besides the fact that he adopted a child. Crazy quick Insta love, more time spent building their chemistry would have been benefitted this story more.
Oh god, it's getting worse. Read free through kindle unlimited. This was super short, more like a short story, and I've read better things on free online romance or erotica sites. There was zero plot, zero character development and the sex was icky. It felt like I was watching somebody play The Sims, it was so disconnected. The multiple grammatical and spelling errors were awful and misuse of words was really distracting.
This was my first book from this author and it was actually an ARC I received.
When I saw the blurb of the story, I was quite intrigued. It sounded very nice and I was excited to read it. Sadly I felt like the story was too rushed, I know it was a short story, but it was too rushed even for a novella.
When I read a book I love to put myself in the story, feel everything the characters feel and also get to know the characters as good as possible. Sadly, with this book I didn't get the chance to do any of these things. I feel like if it was longer it would have been better. From the beginning I kind of felt weird reading it because I didn't get to understand the relationship between the characters. They were both in love with each other from the first chapter and even though they never interacted. It felt kind of weird and so I couldn't connect with the book.
I wish the author will write more books with the same idea (single daddys), but not as short and rushed as this one. This story could have been really good if it wasn't for the lack of connections with the characters and a fast pace story progression.
PS: Thank you for the chance to read an ARC version!

ARC revived in exchange for honest review. When I read the blurb of this book I couldn't wait to dive in..
Unfortunately what I thought I was going to get and what I got were two completely different things..
Without going in to the whole content of the book I'll just say it was completely unbelievable.. I knew it was a insta-love and I've read books (great books) that were insta-love but this was just.. Ridiculous (sorry!)
The couple made me cringe, they didn't even know each other and he's asking her to be the mother of his adopted daughter, the female lead is agreeing to have a baby with the hero after ONE day of actually knowing him?! Nope sorry, I just wanted to slap them both!
I was told before reading this book that it needed proof reading etc, so that hasn't effected my rating but I will say that I hope it's thoroughly proofed before publishing.

Sometimes you just want to sit down to a book that doesn't have the heartache, the going back and forth in the characters mind about whether they're good enough etc. You understand what I'm saying. Well this is that book. They go in get what they want and voila happily ever after. I would recommend this book. Steam factor 6.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
I received this book as an ARC from the author for a review...So here we go!
Not my style at all. I appreciate all the single dads out there, but this story was too short and too unrealistic. The all too instant insta-love and the motivation behind the characters' actions was just too much for me to handle. I love some depth in the books I read, but this one was kinda shallow. Whoever likes a really short story without any serious character development, this one is for you.
I won an instafreebie arc for this book. This was my first novel by this author. Aside from grammar errors (sorry, it’s the former teacher in me), I found this book to be a bit fast-paced, and a bit unrealistic.
Whitney is looking for a job out of college, and finds an ad online for a nanny. She quickly applies, and starts having email conversations with someone named Mr. Foss. Suddenly, when Whitney finds out that Mr. Foss is in fact, her hot neighbor that she’s seen through her bedroom window, she freaks out.
Liam had his own plans for Whitney, having done some spying on her of his own. He places the moves on her quickly, something that I, as a reader, admit to being a little put off on reading, especially so early in a novel.
Their relationship moves very quickly—suddenly, Whitney goes from just watching Liam’s daughter, to sleeping with him, and stating she loves him. Liam also moves at a fast pace—calling Whitney a mother to his daughter. There were some paragraphs that seemed out of place in the beginning chapters, which made me a little confused, as there was no real direction to them in context to what I was previously reading. I was actually a little put off by how fast the relationship was going.
First, they meet, then suddenly, the MMC is whisking the FMC off to bed, and then she is quickly meeting the daughter, and suddenly swept into an instant family, including trying to have their own baby.
I think the story could have been more developed, but given it was a short read, I guess fast pace was the way to go.

I went into this book knowing it was an insta-love story, but damn. The first day they met Liam was telling his 1year old daughter to call this woman Mommy. Both of the characters acted as if they 13 year old who didn't know what life was. Within 2 day of meeting he gets her pregnant on purpose (they find out 2 weeks later) but can't say "I love you" because it's not the right time. They are both violently jealous (this could be seen in the way he talk to and about her and the scene at the club)
What pushed me over the edge was when Whitney told his 1year old daughter that she "cock blocked" her dad. WHO SAYS THAT TO A ONE YEAR OLD???
Then thy both act pissed off and shocked that her family are the only ones with common sense that you don't have a baby with someone you've know for a week.
This book had a good idea that could have been played out so much better.
Please keep in mind this is nothing against the airier as I have read another story from her (Filthy) and really enjoyed it.
*received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I read this based on the synopsis and it definitely wasn't what I thought. A newly single father putting out an ad in hopes of having the heroine apply and become the nanny seemed great, but it wasn't all that The romance is rushed. From her first day things start to happen and drama occurs from every end without a flow. You had the Hero's side causing drama and all of the sudden the heroine starts to lose it on her family. It seemed to just come out of nowhere. It felt rushed and I couldn't get into it.
Whitney has had a crush on the handsome, wealthy single dad who lives across the street from her, since she first saw him jogging with his stroller. An early childhood specialist herself, she’s in the market for a child-care job while she waits to meet the right man and start her own family.
When she sees Liam’s job posting seeking a nanny for his beautiful daughter, Whitney feels it’s meant to be. She went to get a job, but she ended up with a whole lot more than a paycheque.
Adorable, swoony single dad moments with his daughter. Hot love scenes. Sweet story. HEA.
A quick, feel good insta-love romance.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
Babysitter love has to be one of the cheesiest over the top romance novels I have ever read…. And I have read a lot.
If you love insta-love then this book is for you.
Firstly; Liam Foss DOES post the add hoping that Whitney Skye would answer the call… Why? Because he is obsessed with her. But that’s ok, because ever since Whitney laid eyes on Liam she has been obsessed with him.
So Liam is determined to have Whitney in his life so he adopts a baby girl. He does love the girl as his own and does lots of shirtless gardening hoping that Whitney will see him.
The book is cheesy, The plot line is cheesy and the sex scenes are boring as… The ‘’I love yous’’ are instant
This is the second book I read from this author but I felt that this one was done in a rush. I know that people do fall inlove fast and I know that this is only fictional but it could have had more of a story on how two people fall in love. I'm not saying that it's a bad book, all I'm saying is that it could have had a longer story of the two characters before delving into being in love after their first meeting. It could have been a great story because there are a lot of good points in it but with jt being short, it just really felt that it was done in a rush.
