Murder at the Office: A Mother Daughter Mystery

Sharon and her teenaged daughter haven't been on the best of terms since the divorce. Can this mother and daughter pairing put their squabbles aside long enough to solve a murder? Or will the killer strike again... closer to home? I listened to this book on audio, and had a hard time listening to the narrator. The voices were a little too much. The book was short and fast paced which was nice, but the characters were rough.

Not good

I would give this book a 2.5 star rating. It is technically a mystery and the mother and daughter are both lesbian. However the entire mystery takes place over the period of about 20 minutes in the book. The murder didn't even happen til 41% into the book. The story had much more detail about the daughters lack of bathing than anything.

I really was hoping to like this but it just lacked basically a mystery and being gay.
